Chapter 53: Strange Creatures (Part 1)

Dr. Colin's books may have hidden information, so they can be taken into account.

"Bang!" An object was taken out and fell from the book.

I looked closely and found it was a pen.

The pen is as thick as a finger, and there are several buttons on the pen body, which are all contained in the bag.

I searched again and found a small flashlight in the corner, which was well preserved and I don’t know if it is available.

When I turned on the switch, the flashlight actually emitted a light.

It seems that the energy used by this flashlight is not an old-fashioned battery, otherwise it would have leaked liquid long ago.

Hand the flashlight to Valen.

"This thing is just used first. It's better to have it than not."

"Well, it's not bad. This thing is better than a torch, at least it won't go out." Valen's face was full of joy.

With the flashlight, the two can look for it separately.

"Hi! There is a gate here." Valen pointed to a gate and said.

After flashlight indication, Mark found that this door was an electronic lock, and it could not be opened without power drive and without password input.

When studying how to open it.

"Hi! It's so troublesome. I have to think about it for a long time every time. You retreat!"

Valen spat in the palm of his hand, swung his axe with all his strength, and smashed it hard towards the door.

"Bangbangbangbang", several times of chopping, Valen's arms numb, but there were only a few more holes in this door.

"Look at me! Stay away."

Mark signaled Valen to retreat further, lifted the third tube and shot the door lock.

"Bang", a big hole was blasted out of the metal door.

He shrugged his shoulders and spread his hands to Valen and said, "No, the problem has been solved!"

The roar of the third tube alarmed some lives, and a group of cockroaches crawled out quickly in the crack of the door.

Seeing the cockroaches jumping out, Valen raised his legs and stepped on them.

Escape quickly and only trampled several to death.

Pinching one of the tentacles in it, Valen looked surprised, showing the body, and said, "Grandma! The cockroaches here are so big."

A centipede insect will die without being stiff!

The cockroaches still shaking their limbs.

Mark observed carefully and found that these cockroaches were indeed extraordinary.

The color is dark red, as wide as a palm, and the branches are as bristles as thorns.

"Valun, this place is never simple. We came to a place that is more terrifying than outside. The creatures inside not only contain weird big cockroaches, but also other creatures." Mark reminded Valun.

"The swift shadows, children-like monsters outside and the sandworms encountered in the desert are very likely to escape or be released from this." Mark's explanation.

Valen knew a little, and naturally experienced the power of those monsters.

"What if it doesn't matter! I can't call it a Kansas Warrior because I'm afraid of death." Valen asked blankly, "What exactly is the shape of what we are looking for?"

Valen's question was not easy to explain. Mark summed it up and replied simply: "I don't know what it is."

"What? You don't know what it is? You just came in so recklessly?" His eyes almost fell down.

"Maybe there are many secrets about the origin of your clan. In addition to your origin, there are many unconventional creatures that are also transformed in this name called "Pandora's Box". Of course, I heard from people," Mark answered truthfully.

"I'm not here to find out what you Kansans are originating, and that's not interesting to me. It's just that someone told me that I could find a way to go home in there. I'm here for that."

After finally not understanding such an explanation, Valen seemed very excited to hear the secrets about their race.

When I heard that there was a way to get this ‘outsider’ back, it seemed very suitable for my intention.

Therefore, Valen's eyes flashed and he said sincerely: "Hi! I'll say it earlier! Although there are so many dangers here, if I can help you go home, I, Valen, will be willing to die."

His sincere expression made a warm current surge in Mark's heart.

Whether he is true or false, it can be seen that his character is indeed good and worth making friends.

The two broke out and advanced along the corridor.

Most rooms are on both sides of the promenade, and each room is marked with a name, which is naturally easy to distinguish what type of room it is.

A section of the corridor was filled with collapsed objects, making walking even more difficult.

There was a "rustling" sound from the ceiling of the corridor.

Looking up, I noticed a long black shadow crawling past.

After Varun used a flashlight to illuminate it, he hurriedly hid behind Mark, trembling.

"What's wrong?" Mark stopped, surprised at what kind of monster this was. Under the illumination of the searchlight, the black shadow was revealed.

A huge centipede poked out from the gap at the top.

The light shines brightly, causing it to stop crawling.

Lift up half of his body and look sideways at the person below.

The two tentacles kept shaking, as if they were exploring information.

The centipede is huge in size and is about the same length as that of an adult, as wide as a thigh.

The two giant jaws kept opening and closing, and the "Gala" sounded, as if chewing food.

"I can't tell that the Kansas Warriors are actually afraid of centipedes?" He grabbed Valen's clothes and pulled him out from behind.

"Hehe, I'm afraid of this thing, I've been afraid of it since I was a child." Valen was so embarrassed, scratching his head with a silly look.

"Bang", an object fell from the top and happened to fall over Valen's head.

"What the hell?" Valen waved his hand and dusted it off, and then fell a piece of bloody toes.

"Grandma, I'm scared." The bloody, rotten and pungent smell were unbearable, and Valen couldn't help but curse.

The centipede winds out, loosening its claws and falling toward the two of them.

"not good!"

The two of them took a few steps back and avoided the centipede attack.

"Shoot it quickly!" Valen hid behind him and shouted.

Less than ten meters away from the two, the centipede raised its upper limbs and the two pincers on its jaw were blue.

The clamps and teeth were running in and creaking, making a "creaking" sound, shocking the two of them with such an action.

The blue pincer teeth are faintly shining, which shows that the centipede is highly poisonous.

The centipede seemed to be thinking about who to attack first, with her claws swaying and rustling.

Less than a few seconds later, he turned around and ran away.

"Damn! Scary!" Varun's forehead was sweating coldly, but his mouth was not honest at all.

While wondering why the centipede escaped, Mark found that Valen kept slapping his shoulder.

"What's wrong?" Turning around to check, he found that he couldn't stop talking in shock.

Under the faint light of the flashlight, a huge creature stood at the corner.

Half of his head was poked out, and his eyes were shining with flashlights, emitting blue light.

The standing posture was extremely quiet, and if Valen hadn't noticed it at all.

Maybe because the flashlight was dazzling, like a centipede, it was also looking at the two of them.

Walun trembled with his elbow and asked in a low voice: "What the hell is this?"

The giant creature was at the corner and could not see clearly what it looked like.

The two of them retreated close to each other.

"Roar!"

With a roar, he jumped out toward the two of them.

Before he could dodge, Valen had been knocked away.

Without waiting for Mark to dodge, he had already thrown the man to the ground.

The monster tilted his head, squinted his eyes, and looked into this creature he had never seen before, saliva dripped onto the mask.
