Because benevolence and virtue represent the law of nature! "Stolen the law of nature" means practicing benevolence, righteousness and morality. "Destroying human desires" will eliminate the evil desires of capitalism.

If there is no such thing as the principle of nature, then benevolence, righteousness and morality are an ethics. How can human ethics be compared with the great way of all things in the universe? If it is comparable, Confucianism will not let the monks and Taoists steal so much territory.

Of course, the theory of Tianli is not without loopholes. Using this theory to fight against the empirical school is equivalent to the great philosopher of Tianfang Buddhism (scam?) using the theory of the realization of all things to beat Aristotle.

Cheng Yi's source is the law of heaven, and Kengdi's source is Allah. However, Kengdi has the last messenger of Allah in the world, the prophet Muhammad, who is the backer, but Cheng Yi has no way to describe Confucius as the last messenger of Heaven in the world... If he says this, he will be despised by Confucian scholars all over the world! A good scholar will become a charlatan!

However, there is also a favorable factor in Neo-Confucianism led by Cheng Yi, that is, Wu Haogu's level is limited and it is impossible to build a huge and complete philosophical system.

He only "proposed" positivism and rationalism, and did not have the ability to perfect it. Even if the Yuntai Academy is full of talents, it will take many years to think and analyze to gradually form a complete and huge philosophical system unless someone can bring the full set of Aristotle's works back to the Yuntai Academy...
