Chapter 51 Coaching Certificate(1/2)

afternoon.

Zhang Yang leisurely went to the supermarket and bought various ingredients for cooking. He asked Denise and Andy to have a dinner together, and also told John and Catherine to come back early.

This is to celebrate the founding of a new job.

Zhang Yang's cooking skills are not at the top, and it is definitely not bad. It is enough to make a decent Chinese meal for a few Londoners. He spent two hours preparing and also made a braised pork ribs dish.

When it was almost six o'clock, the knock on the door started.

Zhang Yang walked out of the kitchen, and even wore a white apron, dressed as a housewife and went to open the door.

Standing in front of the door were Andy and Denise.

Andy came once and was familiar with the journey. Denise was still looking around, as if he was afraid of finding the wrong place.

When the door opened, Denise saw Zhang Yang's dress and immediately covered her mouth. She pointed at Zhang Yang with her finger, "I really can't tell, you still have time to cook."

"What's strange about this?"

"Of course." Denise said, "I always thought you were the kind of otaku who had weak limbs and no grains."

This tragic description made Zhang Yang's face turn black.

He called the two of them in, prepared black tea and coffee. After the owner was served, Denise's words made his brows frown into the word "well". "I have good news and bad news. Which one do you want to listen to first?"

Zhang Yang looked at her with a fool's eyes.

Denise felt bored, "Then let's say good news first, I'm going to be on a TV show. There is a life program at the headquarters that needs a host. I was recommended to attend the audition. The situation should be pretty good, with almost no competitors."

"Then congratulations!"

"It was Sunday afternoon." Denise emphasized that it was time.

“Sunday afternoon?”

"That's the bad news I'm going to tell you," Denise said. "The Voice of the Premier League has been cancelled."

Zhang Yang didn't understand.

Andy took a sip of coffee and took the conversation, "I heard about this. The radio team and Sky Sports have not reached an agreement. They cannot continue to comment on Premier League games. The "Voice of the Premier League" cannot continue, and it started this week, so the show was cancelled."

"So I lost a job?" Zhang Yang suddenly reacted, "No, I have a contract with the broadcasting team. This is their breach of contract. Do you have to pay the remaining compensation?"

Denise rolled his eyes, "You think it's so good, but it's impossible. Any agreement to host the program has a 'force majeure clause'. If you don't negotiate the broadcast right with Sky Sports, it's a force majeure factor. Speaking of which, it's still a fault for you."

"Blame me?"

"Your joining has greatly increased the listening rate of the program, because the broadcast team is a trial operation program, and each episode signs the broadcast rights with Sky Sports separately. Sky Sports decided to increase the cost, and it increased three times in one breath. If you pay according to their standards, the program will suffer serious losses. You understand that no program can make a loss, especially if you have to be controlled by others..."

Denise explained briefly.

Zhang Yang almost understood it. The summary is that when Sky Sports saw the broadcasting team's Premier League program grow, it decided to increase the broadcasting cost. The broadcasting team could not afford such a high cost, so they could only make up their minds to cut the program.

"Another missing income!"

Zhang Yang sighed.

"It's only 6,000 pounds, and you can't keep doing it. I heard that you signed up for Millwall and became an assistant coach? There are a lot of reports today. Your new job is likely to conflict with the program time." Andy said.

Zhang Yang widened his eyes, "Only six thousand pounds? That's six thousand pounds!"

Andy thought about it carefully, and suddenly felt heartbroken, "Yes! That's six thousand pounds! It's enough for me to change my car!"

"That's not yours."

Looking at the two men who were heartbroken for money, Denise felt speechless.

After barely digesting the news, Zhang Yang went to the kitchen to continue preparing the meal. When it was almost ready, John and Catherine were back.

The two came back together.

"I went to pick up Catherine," John explained.

Next, Zhang Yang helped introduce the two parties to each other. Andy remembered Catherine deeply, but the others didn't know each other.

After the time was about the same, Zhang Yang brought the food up and everyone's attention was attracted to the food.

The two fried vegetables were not very popular. Perhaps because Londoners don’t like greasy vegetables, but braised pork ribs were unanimously praised by everyone, especially John and Andy. They were full of oil and had no time to say anything else.

"Zhang, I didn't expect that you have such a good cooking skills. From now on, you won't have to pay the rent if you have a plate of this meat every day."

John said seriously after taking a sip of beer.

Zhang Yang immediately refused, "Then I'd better continue to pay the rent. It took me more than two hours to prepare this small plate. Well, you've eaten the last piece."

Everyone else laughed.

Next, everyone began to discuss Zhang Yang's new job. Except for Andy, who had been following Zhang Yang, no one else expected that Zhang Yang would find a job similar to an assistant coach.

"Are you planning to develop in this job for a long time?" Catherine asked a key question.

Zhang Yang was a little hesitant. He only felt that being a "match commander" was very consistent with his ability, and he was not worried about his ability being "stolen" in the future, but he had not fully considered whether he would do it for a long time.

"But no matter what, you should work hard. Yesterday the game you directed was great and made it into the media pages." Katherine commented, and then said professionally, "I think you should consider learning how to be a coach at the moment."

"What's the meaning?"

"You should use your free time to get a coaching qualification certificate so that everyone will recognize your abilities."

Zhang Yang nodded thoughtfully.

Next, the two started talking about the coaching qualification certificate. Denise was just an outsider and didn't know how to study, but unexpectedly, John was an insider and he talked about coaching qualification certificates.

"You must first get the Level-1 certificate, which is the most basic. In theory, if you want to continue to study advanced courses, you must have a certificate at the previous level, and the threshold will become higher and higher..."

John said seriously.

Next he explained the Level-1 certificate carefully.

If you want to get a Level-1 certificate, you must first go to the local official website to register. After paying the tuition, you will be arranged for three consecutive weeks of courses, with two days of classes a week, and students can freely choose which day to attend classes.

Level -1's course is very simple and basic, and does not involve some technical and tactical things. The learning content includes first aid, athlete psychology, and the principles of setting the content and form of training courses.

After the course is over, a two-day exam will be arranged, and local FA examiners will come. Each student will set up a fifteen-minute training class for the children in the training based on the content they have learned, including the text and practical parts.

John explained the content roughly, and Zhang Yang almost understood it.

Level- 1 certificate represents the basic part that the coach needs to learn, and the fastest speed will take about one month.

Only by obtaining the Level-1 certificate can you study the Level-2 certificate, followed by UEFA-B, UEFA-A and UEFA-Pro (UEFA means the European Football Association League).

This series of level certificates makes Zhang Yang feel a little big.

However, he can't use the coaching certificate for the time being, so he can take it slowly. Anyway, he is very leisurely on weekdays. Going to the class to enrich it will definitely be beneficial to the future. He immediately decided to sign up for a Level-1 first and try it.

———

After the meal, he saw Denise and Andy away, Zhang Yang closed the door and let out a long sigh. The busy meal made him feel a little tired.

Katherine was cleaning the dining table. When she was there, Zhang Yang was always lazy. The cleanliness also had this benefit. They always couldn't see the unclean things and had to solve them themselves.

Sitting on the sofa leisurely.

John was drinking beer. From just now, four listeners have sacrificed their lives, and two bottles are left on the table.

"Can London police drink like this?" Zhang Yang's question of interest, "I mean, it won't affect work?"

"Of course not." John smiled heartily, "Just this little beer, I've tried it before. It took about four hours to finish drinking, so it's fine to drive."

“Isn’t it drunk driving?”

"I've tested it with a colleague." When talking about this, John was a little proud. "I've been like this for more than ten years, and I've become used to it."

This may be a sad past.

If we trace back more than ten years ago, it probably started with the death of Catherine's mother.

But Catherine didn't feel any touch. She cursed in anger, "Why don't you drink to death! A drunkard!"

John turned a deaf ear.

Zhang Yang was a little used to this strange father and daughter, and he advised him, "You should drink less alcohol, too much will hurt your body."

"You should listen to Zhang." Catherine said hurriedly, of course she cared about John's body.

"It doesn't matter."

John didn't care at all.

It is not easy to persuade such things anymore. Zhang Yang shrugged at Catherine, meaning 'I can't do it'. Catherine suddenly asked, "Who is that woman?"

"You said Denise?"

"Of course I know her name is Denise. You have an introduction, but what is her relationship with you?" Catherine walked over.

"College?"

"Female colleague, how could I invite you to have a meal at home?"

Zhang Yang said, "Otherwise? We have always had a good relationship and we are doing shows together. You should have heard of the 'Voice of the Premier League', and she is the host."

"It turned out to be her."

Catherine nodded and continued to pack up her things.
To be continued...
