66. Nightmare
The girl was lying there with her eyes blankly. Miyamoto Takashi could not see her face clearly, but could only vaguely see her white dress stained with blood. She looked at her head leaning back weakly, and her two bare legs were covered with sticky blood.
The figure, like a demon, enveloped Miyamoto Takashi's head. He kicked and beat him frantically, but he could not break free from his control. He could hear the demon muttering in his ears. He screamed, the demon seemed to be mocking him, and let out a harsh and crazy laugh in his fear...
How many years have Miyamoto woke up from a nightmare sweating profusely? The nightmare about that girl has been lingering in his mind. He has tried countless times to see that face clearly, but no matter how many times, he can only see a blur.
"Are you having that nightmare again?" Bingliang's slender palms stroked his forehead, and Ryoko Nakamura's face appeared in his sight.
She didn't say anything comforting, but just silently hugged Miyamoto Takashi.
Her warm body temperature gradually calmed down Miyamoto's heart, which was beating violently due to fear.
"Sorry, I always wake you up." Miyamoto lowered his head a little apologized.
"Takaya, what is hidden in your heart? Can you tell me? I want to share the burden for you." Ryoko Nakamura held Miyamoto's hand and rubbed it on her face.
Miyamoto touched her face. This nightmare had been tormenting him for more than ten years. Even if he could tolerate it, he didn't want those who love him to bear the influence of the nightmare. He thought, it was time to break up with the past.
"Ryoko," Miyamoto Takashi took a deep breath, "Can you accompany me for a while? Go to the 'detention center'."
The "detention center" he mentioned is located in the Kobe Mountains. It is a small town, a small town that looks very ordinary. However, it is surrounded by thick stone walls, and barbed wire with high voltage electricity is opened on the stone walls.
This is one of the "detention centers" set up by the Eight Snake Family. The purpose is to accommodate children who are judged to be "violent inclination". To put it more bluntly, this is a cage used to raise "ghosts".
He and Ryoko Nakamura are colleagues and lovers of both law enforcement officers of the Executive Board. They have always acted together, but they are a little different.
Because Miyamoto Takashi knew that he was once a "ghost" in the cage.
As soon as they arrived at the "detention center", they saw two children, eight or nine years old, forcibly grabbing the head of another younger child, hitting the stone wall. The younger child was already covered in blood. The two children continued to be violent and laughed wildly, and in their eyes, they all exuded a light golden cold light.
Anger ran from Miyamoto Takashi's chest to his throat. He rushed forward and pulled the two children apart, but there were still smiles on the two children's faces. One of the boys gently wiped the blood on his hands on his trouser legs, without any regret in his eyes.
Ryoko Nakamura hurriedly checked the injury of the injured child. Half of his face was stained with blood and his eyes were closed tightly. If she lost her support, the child would immediately fall to the ground.
"What are you doing? Don't you know that this will kill people?" Miyamoto Takashi grabbed a boy's collar and asked.
"You are a fool, are you? Can we call people?" The boy's eyes were full of contempt.
Before Miyamoto's fist was dropped, an old man who looked fifty or sixty years old grabbed him, and the two boys took the opportunity to run away.
This man is called Miyamoto Hiroshi, who is a member of the Miyamoto family like him. However, this person has a much higher status in the family than him.
"Filial piety, why bother to get angry? For these guys? It's not worth it." The old man smiled disgustingly.
"I'll call the medical staff first." Ryoko Nakamura hugged the child in her arms and took out the walkie-talkie.
"No need, there is no medical team here, only me, the manager." The old man grabbed Ryoko Nakamura's hand.
"Why?" Ryoko Nakamura shook off his dirty hands in disgust.
"This is an inability to go. These things are all 'ghosts'. Generally no one cares about them, and they are not worthy of my waste of resources for them." The old man said for granted.
"But, my family clearly..."
"No, but, I have the final say here~" the old man looked righteous, "You don't understand at all. Many people want these guys to die sooner."
"'Ghosts' are human-eating things. These guys are all demons. They can't control themselves. Who knows when, what will they do for their own pleasure? They are a shame to the family." The old man took them toward the only special building in the town. This building is like a fortress, probably the people living here, afraid that they will make a "ghost" at night.
"It's been a long time since the law enforcement officer came here to see the situation. The room upstairs is yours. There is nothing to entertain you here. Come from afar, have a good rest." The old man said with a smile.
"..." Ryoko Nakamura looked at Takashi Miyamoto.
As they went upstairs, a girl in a white dress was walking down from above.
"Photon," the old man greeted with a smile, "Come to daddy."
The girl was stunned for a moment, looked up at the two people who were going upstairs, and hurried downstairs.
"This kid doesn't look very good." Ryoko Nakamura whispered in Miyamoto's ear.
Miyamoto shook his head. Of course, he also noticed the girl's pale face and tightly pursed lips, but who can have nothing to worry about in this cage?
"How could this man have such a young daughter, or in such a ghost place?" Ryoko Nakamura frowned.
"Ha, maybe it's because I'm afraid of loneliness?" Miyamoto Takashi sneered.
"But don't you think he is too close to his daughter?" Ryoko Nakamura whispered.
“Isn’t it normal for a better relationship between father and daughter?”
"But what if, it's not your biological child?" Ryoko Nakamura stared in Miyamoto's eyes.
The sun gradually set. In the evening, Miyamoto Takashi wanted to ask Ryoko Nakamura to go downstairs to have dinner, but she kept staring at the information on the computer, with a very struggled expression, as if she was watching something terrifying.
"This is too cruel." She murmured to herself, "Why don't my family send people to take care of the place?"
Miyamoto Takashi leaned over and looked at it, and his heart suddenly jumped half a beat.
She was looking at the information recorded in this ‘detention center’.
A teenager twitched violently on the girl.
