Chapter 15 The Weasleys

(During the new book period, please recommend and comment~)

Just when he was about to leave, he found Bill standing at the door of the store, stunned. "What's your name? Didn't your parents bring you here?"

Bill nodded in a hurry and said, "Hello, Mr. Cadmond, my name is Bill Weasley. You can call me Bill. My father wants me to wait for him at the wand shop, but I don't know why he hasn't appeared yet."

"You can also call me Verne," Verne smiled. "If you keep blocking someone else's store, it will hinder Mr. Ollivander's business. Why not treat you to ice." He was in a good mood because he saved a lot of money and didn't mind spending some small money to treat him, especially the Weasley family members who are friendly to Muggles.

Bill was a little worried that his father would not be able to find him, so he shook his head regretfully, but at Verne's insistence, they still bought two balls of strawberry, peanut butter ice cream, and sat on the stairs next to the store door while eating and waiting.

Seeing the sky getting darker, Bill was also a little anxious, "I'm sorry, Verne, or you'll go back first, I'll wait here myself. Really, why haven't dad been here yet?"

"It's okay, I live in the broken cauldron bar, very close. What's more, Diagon Alley at night is a bit dangerous, and someone is good to take care of each other." Verne saw Bill's advice and said, "I might also ask your father to send me back to the bar later. I don't think you would mind?"

"Of course, of course." Bill felt a little better, but was also very moved. At this time, two running figures came into his eyes. Running in front was a plump woman, and behind was a tall and thin red-haired man.

After running closer, the plump woman hugged Bill in her arms and shouted, "Oh, Bill, my baby, are you doing well? Are you afraid? Sorry, Mom is too late to come to you." Bill never admits that she was really worried at first, but now she was hugged by her mother in front of others, which really made her a little embarrassed. He struggled hard, but found that it was futile and had to give her father a look of help.

Mr. Weasley scratched his head awkwardly. He misunderstood Bill's meaning and quickly explained: "Sorry, Bill, I took the opportunity to go around the streets of London when you went to buy a robe and a wand. Ben, I wanted to buy a birthday gift for Percy, really, really!" He saw Mrs. Weasley's distrustful look, "But you also know that Muggles are so magical and so interesting, so I was lost..."

Mrs. Weasley screamed: "So I'm lost? Arthur, you dare to lie in front of your children! After cooking dinner, I came to you for peace of mind. As a result, just as I arrived at the bar, I found you lying on the street of Muggle at the door to study other people's car tires! Arthur, how did you promise me before departure? You said you would look at Bill well and let me take care of others at home. As a result, I almost didn't have any heart numbness when I heard you left Bill alone in Diagon Alley!"

Seeing Mrs. Weasley's face flushed in anger and her chest bulged like a bullfrog, Mr. Weasley glanced at Verne and quickly advised: "Marlion, don't do this. Now there are outsiders here. Let's talk about the rest when we go home. Others are still waiting for us at home..."

"Go home and settle the score with you!" Mrs. Weasley finally suppressed her anger and turned to Bill and asked gently, "Bill, who is this little gentleman? Is it your friend?"

"Mom, let me introduce you to him. He is Verne Cadmond. I met when I bought a magic wand. He found out that I was alone, so he kindly stayed with me." Bill said.

"Oh, kind boy, can I call you Verne?" asked Mrs. Weasley.

"Of course it's okay, madam." Verne owed slightly.

Mrs. Weasley smiled and nodded, then turned around and glared at Mr. Weasley, as if she was blaming his sense of responsibility for not even a child. "Are you also a freshman at Hogwarts? Why don't your family come with you? Or are they not here yet?"

Listening to the other party's series of questions, Verne was not impatient at all. Instead, she felt that she was very enthusiastic. "I am a second-year student in Hogwarts. I came to the wand shop today for a small reason. I am very happy to know Bill." He skillfully avoided the subsequent questions, but Bill missed his background. "Dad, mom, Verne's parents had passed away last year. Now they live in the Broken Cauldron Bar. Can we send him back? It's already a little dark." He still did not forget Verne's previous "request".

"Oh my god, my poor child." Mrs. Weasley covered her mouth in surprise, while Mr. Weasley asked with a frown, "Do you have no other relatives? How can they let a child live in such a dangerous place."

"I'm not sure if there are any other relatives, but there shouldn't be, so I live alone. Also, Mr. Tom in the bar is a good man and he takes good care of me," Verne explained.

Mr. Weasley waved his hand and said, "I didn't say Tom is bad, but you are only twelve years old and no one is taking care of you. How can this be done with living alone in a bar? Does Hogwarts know about you?"

"They know that Professor Dumbledore believes me..."

Mrs. Weasley interrupted: "Dunbledore believes in everyone, but he has never raised a child himself. Even if he is a school principal, he will not understand this. Verne, we cannot let the child live alone in the bar. You can move to my house first. Although it is a little smaller, it is still enough to place one more child. Arthur is an official of the Ministry of Magic. He can help you check if there are any relatives alive, right, Arthur?"

"No problem, Jasmine." Mr. Weasley, who was thinking about how to make a sacrifice, replied with his chest up. His wife nodded in appreciation, as if she was finally satisfied with her husband.

"No need to both of you. I was not born in a wizard family, so the Ministry of Magic will not have my family information."

"Are you a Muggle Wizard?" Mr. Weasley, who was still a little worried about food, suddenly became enthusiastic. "It's so great, oh no, I don't mean that. I mean I think you shouldn't have visited the wizard family and you will definitely have a very novel experience."

"Okay, don't talk about Arthur. You still have a long time to talk to Verne during dinner." Mrs. Weasley stopped Verne's polite refusal with her stern eyes. "We'll go to the bar to get your luggage now. Child, you can live until the start of school. I think the Ministry of Magic may have another way to investigate your wealth for you. You must know that magic can do everything."

The excited Bill was pulled forward, Verne smiled bitterly, but he didn't want to refuse, or he had expected this result when he stayed with Bill to wait for his father. He didn't want to have a simple meal and add another burden to the Weasley family, but there might be an "old acquaintance" in their family waiting for him - Petr, the real "killing relative" murderer.
