241 Hostility (Part 2)

Seeing that everyone was stunned and no one answered his words, Jiang Zhihan coughed softly and shouted, "Waiter."

The waiter pushed the door and came in. Jiang Zhihan turned his head and ordered, "Select the food."

Turning his head and pretending to be nothing, Jiang Zhihan smiled and said, "It's been a long time since we got together. The last time it was when everyone came to me to divide the oranges. By the way, why isn't the little Mr. Gu?"

Wen Ningcui replied to him and said, "He has a dinner arrangement, so let me tell you."

Jiang Zhihan called and asked, "Mingyang, you guy is so encouraging me on the phone. You can always tell me now. Which school did you choose and what major it is?"

Chu Mingyang seemed to be immersed in some kind of shock, not as sharp as usual. He stuttered for a while before saying: "The first choice I chose was the dentist from Southern Medical University, and the general undergraduate choice was the pharmacy from Yancheng University of Traditional Chinese Medicine."

Jiang Zhihan nodded and said, "It's a very good choice. Doctors are a profession that never goes out of date, so they should become more and more popular."

Jiang Zhihan's eyes moved past Chu Mingyang and asked Xue Jingjing, who was sitting beside him, "Jingjing, where are you?"

Xue Jingjing turned against her usual gentle and indifferent appearance, and did not answer his words, saying, "Jiang Zhihan, you seem to have been very moisturizing in the forty years." The mockery in her tone was simply evident on paper.

Jiang Zhihan said calmly: "It's not worth mentioning to be moisturized, it's pretty good. Well, it's better than I thought."

Xue Jingjing said: "It's not easy to choose a major. Speaking of which, if you choose a profession, you may have to keep working. Who can guarantee that you can always like the things you choose? Maybe you will like others and like other industries in a blink of an eye."

Xue Jingjing took the lead, slightly beyond Jiang Zhihan's expectations. This girl has always been gentle and introverted in his impression. But then she thought that she was Ni Shang's best friend, so her reaction was not a bizarre thing.

To be honest, Jiang Zhihan never thought that Ni Shang would appear here today. Although the two no longer avoided meeting, she was absent from the few class reunions after leaving No. 7 Middle School. In Jiang Zhihan's mindset, she should intentionally avoid all public occasions where she attended, so that she could go home to give her father an explanation.

Jiang Zhihan smiled and said, "It doesn't matter. I don't like choosing ones myself. I can still change jobs in the future. There is no need to stay tied to the same industry."

Xue Jingjing sneered, "Yes." Her thigh was slapped by Ni Shang's hand on the table.

Ni Shang interrupted her and greeted her, "Siyi, I haven't seen you for a long time. Your internship has ended, right?"

Wu Siyi said: "Yes, it's not long before going to work. Are you okay if you are close to me? I'm afraid of disturbing you to review, so I didn't call you."

Ni Shang squeezed out a smile, "I'm not bad, I just read books, memorize and do questions anyway. By the way, Zhizhihan, we don't know which school you chose."

Jiang Zhihan glanced at her deeply and said briefly: "Qingzhou University and Jingcheng University of Science and Technology."

Ni Shang was a little confused, "Qingzhou University?"

Jiang Zhihan smiled and said, "It's not very famous, right? I had four candidates at that time, Ningda University, Shanghai-Ningxia Science and Technology, Shanghai-Ningxia Jiaotong University, and Qingzhou University, but I really don't know which one is better. I called Siyi and asked Siyi, and she said that if there is no difference, I would choose which one I like the most. I think it makes sense, so I chose the one I feel most intimate."

Ni Shang lowered his eyes slightly and said, "That's right."

Ruan Fangfang said, "But these four schools are the least famous of Qingzhou University. You can choose which one you like. Isn't it a bit too hasty?" I don't know if this comment was aimed at Jiang Zhihan who made the decision or Wu Siyi who made the suggestions.

Jiang Zhihan is becoming more and more envious now. He pretended not to hear any special meaning in Ruan Fangfang's words and asked her back: "Where are you? What major and school do you choose?"

Ruan Fangfang said: "I chose management majors, University of Economics and Trade and Chuncheng University."

Jiang Zhihan and Chen Yimeng had already known his choice on the phone. He turned his eyes back to Ni Shang, "Ni Shang, where are you?"

Ni Shang raised her head and smiled, "My choice seems to be beyond everyone's expectations."

Jiang Zhihan said: "Let me tell me."

Ni Shang said: "My first choice was applied physics, Ningda and Zhongzhou University of Science and Technology." One focus is on the choice of general undergraduate.

Jiang Zhihan nodded slightly and said, "It's pretty good. I have applied physics and have a solid theoretical foundation. I can consider doing theoretical research or switching to applications such as electronics, motors, or computers. In fact, the path may be wider."

Wen Ningcui looked over in surprise and asked, "When Ni Shang chose a major, did you ask for your opinion?"

Jiang Zhihan shook his head and said honestly: "It's the first time I've heard it."

Wen Ningcui asked again: "Have you discussed this before?"

Jiang Zhihan looked at Ni Shang and said, "There has been a general discussion, but I have never heard Ni Shang say that she wants to learn applied physics."

Wen Ningcui saw Ni Shang nodded in agreement with this statement, and looked at Jiang Zhihan with deep meaning, "Your statement coincides with each other. I was very surprised when I heard Ni Shang's choice for the first time. I asked her, the reason she told me was almost exactly the same as what you said today." The implication was that you two really had a sense of understanding.

Jiang Zhihan pretended to be careless and said: "I still know her way of thinking after being a class monitor for a year."

Ruan Fangfang continued: "I understand one or two, but I don't know much. Ni Shang, it seems that I understand you don't even have a 100% chance."

Jiang Zhihan looked at her and began to feel a little angry. Although he could understand that the friends of No. 7 Middle School thought that he and Ni Shang could be together, he also took into account Wu Siyi's feelings. This was the first time he had come out to have dinner with old friends after being with Wu Siyi, but he didn't expect that he would encounter such obvious hostility.

Maybe, this hand is holding a little too fast?

The person who was most restless during the meal might not be Jiang Zhihan or Wu Siyi, but Chu Mingyang who called everyone to gather. When he called his classmates from No. 7 Middle School, he only said that he would go out for a party and have dinner to cheer up the final sprint, but did not explicitly say that Jiang Zhihan would come. When he arrived at the school gate, he entered the top scholar building. Ni Shang had already expected Jiang Zhihan to come. However, in private, she occasionally had contact with Jiang Zhihan, so she did not leave in a pretended manner.

Of course, no one expected that Jiang Zhihan would appear openly holding Wu Siyi's hand.

The meal was very embarrassing. Faced with Xue Jingjing's undisguised hostility and Wen Ningcui Ruan Fangfang's sarcasm, Jiang Zhihan still had to take care of Wu Siyi's emotions. She took the initiative to hold her hand and wanted to bravely declare an existence, but the resistance she encountered was so great.

While Jiang Zhihan wanted to make a gesture, he took good care of Wu Siyi. He occasionally helped her pick up food and asked her what she thought about a certain dish, while secretly observing Ni Shang's reaction.

Ni Shang is probably the one who is the one who actively wants to adjust the atmosphere among the people of the No. 7 Middle School. She and Wu Siyi chat casually and have to find topics to avoid making the atmosphere at the dinner table too dull.

Seeing Ni Shang, who was still so understanding and willing to think about others, Jiang Zhihan couldn't help feeling a little sad when he entered the door. Although he made up his mind, he would break it. No matter how good Ni Shang is, it is the past, and his present should be Siyi.

But unfortunately, every time when facing this past, Jiang Zhihan deepened his pity for her, and it seemed that a trace was drawn deeper in his heart.

As the dinner ended, Jiang Zhihan and Wu Siyi walked out of the top scholar building side by side.

Jiang Zhihan said: "I have been in the house for so many days. I might as well go out for a walk today. Anyway, I've come out, and it's another weekend."

Wu Siyi said gently: "Okay. Is our beach by the river good?"

Jiang Zhihan grabbed her hand and smiled, "I was about to say this."

The two went there was exactly where Wu Siyi confessed her first love.

The river is still roaring by, and the beach is still full of gravel. It has been almost half a year since I last came.

Wu Siyi didn't care that she was wearing a dress, so she wanted to find a place to sit down. Jiang Zhihan stopped her and said, "A beautiful dress cannot be ruined." She sat down and let Wu Siyi sit on her thighs.

Wu Siyi leaned her head against his chest, stared at Jiang Shui for a while, and suddenly said, "I'm too willful, right?"

Jiang Zhihan hugged her waist and whispered: "Don't think too much about them, they just don't get used to it all at once."
