Chapter 1277: Open new ideas
"The closest friend."
“Account anytime.”
"Drink tea and chat, discuss the country's development issues."
After hearing Sai Maokang's words, all the leaders present looked at Mu Yang very seriously and felt a little shocked, especially those from home.
It is not an easy thing to say the word "closeest friend" from a president. But it also shows that the relationship between the two is indeed very close, otherwise Sai Maokang would not have said it on such an occasion.
The diplomatic work has been done to the extreme to have such a relationship with a country's leaders.
It can also be seen that Mu Yang has great personal charm and work ability, otherwise he would not have been recognized and praised by a president of a country.
The second-ranked chief is in charge of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, understands some of the situations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and he still knows about the young ambassador. After all, the several major things that Mu Yang has done, including the fact that he became the Ambassador of Myanmar at such a young age, were all studied by the Standing Committee.
Get back important information.
As the contact person of "Luca", I purchased a large amount of weapons and machine tools needed by China. Now China's third aircraft carrier will be equipped with Muyang. The third aircraft carrier is a real nuclear-powered aircraft carrier.
Moreover, while serving as ambassador of Djibouti, Mu Yang planned a military base for China, allowing China's navy to go abroad and gain a place in the strategic Gulf of Aden.
At such a young age, becoming an ambassador of a country has also set a new age record for diplomatic ambassadors.
These things were all on the Standing Committee, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs was the second-ranking chief, and Mu Yang became the ambassador of Myanmar or the Prime Minister's final decision.
But speaking of this, the young ambassador really did not embarrass him. Minister Yang of the Foreign Ministry once mentioned that those work were done by Mu Yang when he reported on his work several times.
Especially after he served as the Ambassador of Myanmar, he actually saw an opportunity and seized it tightly, actively participated in resolving the civil strife in Myanmar, and successfully resolved the forces of all parties and promoted the end of the civil strife in Myanmar.
You should know that the second leader was shocked when he heard the news. This was an achievement that only a real diplomat could achieve.
Therefore, Sai Maokang admires Muyang so much, and the second leader understands it very well.
Chief No. 2 said: "If I remember correctly, when the Ministry of Commerce proposed the proposal to jointly invest in the construction of the Kyaukpyu Special Economic Zone with Myanmar, it was said that this proposal came from the Myanmar Economic and Commercial Counselor's Office. That's it, Minister Jiang."
The second leader looked at Minister Jiang, the Ministry of Commerce of China, who was sitting not far away.
Minister Jiang immediately replied: "Yes, that was what I mentioned when I reported to you. It was submitted by the Myanmar Embassy."
The Prime Minister looked at Mu Yang, "To be honest, this is your credit."
Mu Yang quickly said, "This is what we should do."
Mu Yang's answers were always calm and moderate, and he answered the Prime Minister's questions with data and theory very appropriately. In this case, he was suddenly asked and could answer this level, which shows that Mu Yang's work ability is very strong.
The banquet was held, President Sai Maokang raised his glass to welcome the second-ranked leader to visit Myanmar. Everyone raised their glasses together, and the banquet began.
In the afternoon, it was the meeting of leaders of ASEAN and China, Japan and South Korea (103).
The next morning, the 9th East Asia Summit was the 9th East Asia Summit.
The two-day itinerary was extremely compact, and Mu Yang had been in charge of the reception work. In the evening of the next day, the second chief, with the farewell of Myanmar officials such as Sai Maokang, boarded a special plane and returned to China, ending this short visit to Myanmar.
When boarding the plane to say goodbye, the Prime Minister stopped by Muyang for a while and said to Muyang:
"In national exchanges, the role of diplomatic ambassador is very important. Do it well and strive to win more benefits for the country."
"Yes, Prime Minister." Mu Yang replied.
Mu Yang was relieved when the reception task was completed, but he still had a lot of work and had no time to rest. The next day, he took several counselors from the embassy to attend the start-up ceremony of the Myanmar section of the China-Myanmar Railway.
The China-Myanmar Kunming-Kyaukpyu Railway Project is part of the Pan-Asian Railway Network. It reaches the south to the planned deep-water port of Kyaukpyu Port in the Indian Ocean, including the Kunming-Ruili section in China (690 kilometers) and the Muji-Kyaukpyu (810 kilometers) in Myanmar. It is also planned to build a highway in parallel with the railway.
According to the plan, the Muji-Kyaukpyu Railway in Myanmar passes through Shan State, Mandalay Province, Magui Province and Rakhine State in northern Myanmar. The designed driving speed is 160km/h, and 200km/h is reserved. China invests in the construction of the Watt (construction-operation-transfer) method, and plans to be completed and opened to traffic within three years, with the project investment of US$20 billion. It is the largest independent project in China's investment in Myanmar. China has 50 years of operation rights.
The railway direction is basically parallel to the China-Myanmar oil and gas pipeline, and was previously known as the strategic major channel in southwest China. If completed, the railway will run from southwest to northeast through central and northern Myanmar and directly connect to Kunming, China, and become a major channel for China to transport materials overseas, with both economic and political significance.
The Pan-Asian Railway includes the East Line, the Central Line and the Western Line. The Eastern Line is affected by the South China Sea dispute with Vietnam, so the strategic position of the Western Line may be more important.
This plan was once stranded. After resolving the civil strife in Myanmar, Mu Yang re-launched it and successfully passed it in the Sai Maokang government. Mu Yang's contribution is of great significance.
So Muyang was in a very happy mood to attend today's start-up ceremony.
The construction ceremony was set on the edge of Mandalay city, mainly for convenience. Attending today's ceremony was a State Councilor of China, a deputy director of the Development and Reform Commission, and a leader in the railways. Myanmar included Major General Zeyaang, Deputy Minister of Railways, Wu Qiangmao, Dura Wu Danglun, and Mu Yang were also the main guests.
First, visit the planning map, and the entire planning map indicates the entire line.
The railway connecting Kyaukpyu-Minbu-Minba-Minba-Minba-Minba-Bharato-Bana Island-Sitthu will be connected to the Minbu-Batam-An-Arthur section. The Minbu-Batam-An-Arthur section will be built to the Kyaukpyu Deepwater Port. After the completion of the Kyaukpyu-An-Minbu Railway, it will connect Minbu-Masi-Mandalay-Laxu-Minji. At the same time, the multinational railway project connecting Burmese Mujie to China will also be constructed at the same time.
The construction ceremony was very Chinese, and it was celebrated with lion dance performances and traditional Burmese dance programs. The leaders spoke, the guests delivered speeches, and used golden shovels to cultivate soil for the foundation-laying stele. If you don’t know, you would think this is in China.
Muyang held a shovel and placed a shovel next to the base of the stone tablet. He couldn't help but think that today's start of construction marks the full opening of the western line of the Pan-Asia Railway and also laid a good foundation for the strategy of going global.
