Of course, these are some small-scale technologies that occur in the initial technical aspects of LED LCD screens. However, later, because the LCD screens led by Sharp and Panasonic were mainly based on plasma technology, not many people paid attention to this LED LCD screen technology.

We can only make LCD panels, the shallowest glass substrates, we can’t make them.

A qualified LCD glass substrate requires a thickness of 7 mm, and it cannot have flaws, and its light transmittance must be absolutely good. With the current domestic glass manufacturing process, this is simply an impossible task.

Fortunately, Li Yifan got the technology from the Japanese, so that the problem of such a most urgent glass plate was solved. However, if you want to produce a finished LCD monitor, it is not enough to have such a glass substrate.

You need polarizers, filters, iPo films and other things, and each of these is a very difficult challenge for domestic production technology.

These difficulties are superimposed together and become an insurmountable difficulty for domestic LCD screen technology. More than ten years later, the production process and technology of LCD screens are no longer a secret, but we still cannot produce these things, so it cannot be said that they are a cup of tea.
