145. Confidence

Facing the aggressive Jeff Green, Wu Dawei was not very worried. Although he was very stunning, who knew whether he was bluffing?!

Wu Dawei reads the scout reports sent to him by the team before the game. As the opponent Wu Dawei may encounter in the game, Jeff Green is naturally written with detailed information.

So, Wu Dawei not only knows that this striker is actually too different from Kevin Durant, but also knows that he has just returned from injury. No one knows how he is in his condition, but can you expect a guy who just happened to have a cold to be full of vitality?

"Hey, is your cold cured? Man!"

Jeff Green held the ball, but his offense was not decisive, but was in a stalemate with Wu Dawei on the outside. So Wu Dawei guessed that he might be hesitant, so he took advantage of the gap between him holding the ball and shouted at him.

"Do you know? When I was a child, my mother told me that children with colds are weak, maybe you should shoot in this place because this can save you less physical fitness than **!" Wu Dawei took a small step back provocatively and continued, "Just here, shoot! I'll let you shoot! Do you dare?!"

Jeff Green did not shoot. Maybe Wu Dawei was hitting his pain. At a distance of one step away from him, he actually chose to break through the latter!

This was an absolutely wrong decision. When Oklahoma fans saw Green's choice, they immediately started to cheer up, because next, they saw that Green was easily forced to stop by Wu Dawei on the road to the paint area.

After just taking two steps back, Wu Dawei easily gained an absolute advantage in this defense. He stood in front of the bottom line, while Jeff Green was forced to stop dribbling by his position. He held the basketball at the bottom line, but he had no teammates behind him.

Without a response and being isolated, this is an absolutely dangerous position!

Wu Dawei pressed up, and then he reached out to the basketball in Green's arms. Green knew very well what would happen when Wu Dawei reached into his arms and touched the basketball. The best situation was only a scramble. So, Green knew that he had to protect the basketball before his teammates came up to support him, so he would not let Wu Dawei get involved. So, when he saw Wu Dawei rushing up and rob, Green subconsciously waved his arm.

"ah!"

But he suddenly heard the cry of pain... Wu Dawei fell to the ground, but Green swore that he had not met this Chinese at all. He was a little stunned, but then he heard the whistle sounded by the referee.

"What!?"

Green felt that he was wronged. He spread his hands to the referee and said that he was innocent, but the referee ignored him at all. When Green turned around, he found that Wu Dawei had already climbed up from the ground like a ok-doer.

"Liar!" Green muttered viciously in Wu Dawei's ear. Wu Dawei didn't care about this. He was no longer afraid of booing all over the place. How could he care about a swearing word? Besides, he could also say something back: "Loser!"

When Wu Dawei was speaking, the corners of his mouth were even slightly upturned because the "fake fall" just now was the "small trick" that Charles Barkley once gave him. When he was playing against the Celtics, Paul Pierce used this trick to make Wu Dawei suffer a loss.

And now, he has used this method to Jeff Green.

The Cavaliers regained the ball in a booing voice. This is the disadvantage of the away game. No matter when and where, you will be in the hostility of tens of thousands of people.

Ramon Sessions dribbled through half the game, and Byron Scott only brought Wu Dawei to the court in this substitution. Thunder coach Brooks did not send Durant back to the court, but instead allowed Jeff Green, who had just returned from injury, to continue to play against Wu Dawei, who was in good shape recently on the court.

This is obviously another wrong decision. Although Wu Dawei is far inferior to his defensive end on the offensive end, his average 16 points per game cannot be underestimated. He cannot be said to be an offensive expert, but at least he is also a scorer.

On the offensive end, Wu Dawei's ability to attack independently is indeed not high, but his ability to take action is extremely outstanding. Moreover, the joint training with Ramon Sessions throughout the summer also made them very tacitly understand.

The two of them completed a cooperation at the top of the three-point line. Wu Dawei pretended to go forward to pick-and-roll. The moment Sessions walked to him, Wu Dawei went straight away and rushed to the basket. At the same time, Sessions directly stuffed the basketball from between the two Thunder players!

When Wu Dawei received the basketball, he was standing between the free throw line and the top of the paint area. He jumped up directly, and Jeff Green had no time to react to it, and the inside players didn't have time to come up to make up for defense, so when Wu Dawei threw the basketball, he was not disturbed at all.

Basketball got into the net! The score was rewritten again, and the Cavaliers became the leading side again.

32:30. Jeff Green's expression of being upset that he was trapped was as disappointing as his next performance. Facing Wu Dawei, his performance on both offense and defense was far from Kevin Durant, who was once shoulder-to-shoulder with him!

With the tacit cooperation between Wu Dawei and Sessions, the Cavaliers quickly opened the score difference for the team in the second quarter. The gap of 38:33.5 points was not big, but it was the biggest score difference between the two sides in this game.

Brooks knew that he could no longer be indifferent. Wu Dawei scored 4 points after playing and became more confident when facing Jeff Green on the defensive end.

Confidence is a very wonderful thing. If you ignore it and don’t stop it, you may become out of control from now on!

So Brooks made a quick change, and he waved to the bench and replaced Kevin Durant on the court.

When the team is at a disadvantage, he can only hope for his superstar. Kevin Durant has turned the tide with his superlative ability with his own strength, and has been staged countless times in his short career.

And this time, Brooks hopes that Kevin Durant can perform like this. While he replaced Kevin Durant, he also replaced the defensive champion in the team, Swiss handsome Sevlosa, on the court.

The Thunder coach hopes that Kevin Durant can give the team great help on the offensive end, and at the same time, he does not want him to waste too much energy on the defensive end. Although Wu Dawei has made many achievements in these offensives, Brooks found that most of him scored through tacit cooperation with his teammates; therefore, a large number of running is indispensable.

Sevlosa, on the other hand, is an excellent defensive follower.

Using two people to curb one person, Sevrosa felt that this was definitely the best way to destroy the other person's physical fitness and psychology!

PS: I caught a cold yesterday, so I went to bed late this morning, so this chapter was updated late. Sorry.
