Chapter 528 Separation

Please give me a monthly ticket and a recommendation ticket!

It was another cold night, and the cold wind whistled. The East River in New York under the Brooklyn Bridge seemed to be frozen. Matthew wrapped his coat tightly and walked up to a suspended dock on the river. A red rescue helicopter was parked on the apron. The crew had set up the shooting site.

"Hi, Matthew."

Seeing Matthew coming, Jessica Chastain said hello. Matthew looked around and asked, "Didn't Kloe come?"

Jessica Chastain seemed very cold, his nose was a little red, and said, "I guess it will be there in a while." She exhaled her breath, "This haunting weather suddenly became so cold."

Matthew looked up at the sky, "It won't snow, is it?"

It is already the end of November, and New York is also in the snow season. Perhaps because of the regional climate, it often snows heavily in New York in winter, and there are basically one or two snow disasters every year.

"Don't snow." Director Gilmo Del Toro came over and looked up at the sky. "The last night was filmed at the Brooklyn Bridge. If it snows, it will be scrapped tonight."

The shooting of the previous five days went smoothly, and he didn't want to encounter irresistible weather factors on the last night.

Gilmo del Toro said to Matthew again, "How many days are you going to leave the crew this time?"

Matthew thought for a while and said, "About five days?"

"So long?" Gilmo del Toro frowned slightly.

"It takes a day to go to Milan, Italy, and it takes a day to come back." Matthew said briefly, "The signing ceremony is one day, and the advertisements are shot for two days."

He spread his hands and said, "I didn't even leave my time to visit Milan."

Gilmo del Toro nodded, "I try to adjust the shooting plan as much as possible." He turned his head and looked at the camera, and said, "You come back from Milan and go back to Los Angeles. We will continue to shoot at the studio. The scenes in Washington Square will be filmed after the New Year."

Matthew nodded slightly, "No problem."

The crew's shooting plan is to focus on the city of New York. Now that Christmas and New Year are approaching, New York's slightly larger squares have a series of activities.

"Dad..." A crisp childish voice suddenly sounded. Matthew turned to see. Kloro Moretz trotted over, and her mother followed behind.

"Hello, Ke..." Matthew quickly changed his words, "Hello, Mary."

Khlo Moretz came to him and said, "It's so cold."

Matthew smiled and said, "This is your last scene. You can find a place to warm up after filming."

"It feels so fast." Kloe Moretz tilted his head and looked at Gilmo del Toro, "My scene will be finished in just one shot."

Gilmo del Toro just nodded to Kloe Moretz, and then said to Matthew, "Don't rush to leave after filming today. Aziva brought the reporter here and asked us to go and be interviewed together."

"I get it." Matthew responded.

"Okay! OK!" Guilmo del Toro suddenly raised his voice, "Prepare to start shooting! Five minutes to prepare for the final preparation!"

The crew quickly cleared the scene, and except for the actors, everyone else withdrew from the set. Matthew, Khloe Moretz and Jessica Chastain and other actors also came to their respective positions.

Then, an assistant director shouted to start.

Matthew picked up Kholo Moretz with one hand and held Jessica Chastain with the other, followed a soldier and walked towards the rescue helicopter on the tarmac.

When he arrived in front of the helicopter, the soldier shouted, "Col. I will keep watching them, I promise you!"

Matthew nodded, without saying a word, but looked at Kloe Moretz deeply, handed her over to the soldiers who were on the helicopter, and kissed her on the forehead.

The little girl was reluctant to leave, and Matthew patted her on the back, "Take good care of her mother."

Jessica Chastain walked over at this time, grabbed Matthew's face in anger and kissed him hard. Matthew's forehead was pressed against her forehead and his palm slid across her pale skin.

"I love you!" he murmured, "I love you!"

The two separated, Jessica Chastain prayed, "God, please bless Robert and give him the courage to face all the difficulties he will face in the future. God, please let him go home safely no matter what, Amen!"

It was not until her prayer ended that Matthew said, "Get on the plane!" He turned to Kroo Moretz, "Dad is going to destroy those monsters, you have to take good care of mom, okay, baby."

Jessica Chastain stepped forward and kissed Matthew. Khlo Moretz handed Matthew the model dog in his hand, "Sam, you have to protect your dad."

"Sir!" the soldier interrupted at this time, "We must leave!"

Matthew took the model dog, and together with the soldiers inside, closed the helicopter cabin door. Kloro Moretz made a butterfly-shaped hand through the glass of the cabin, making it hard to separate inside and outside the cabin.

Another soldier came over and urged, "Sir, let's go!"

Matthew turned around, accompanied by two soldiers, walked towards the river bank, turning back as he walked, his face and eyes were full of reluctance.

This was successfully passed, and Matthew then temporarily returned to the car for heating and rest. Gilmo del Toro led the crew to film the scene of Khlo Moretz and Jessica Chastain in the helicopter cabin. Matthew also took advantage of this time to lie on the sofa chair in the trailer for a while. When it was nearly three months old, Bella Anderson came in and woke him up.

"You're going to shoot." She patted Matthew gently.

"Oh..." Matthew stood up and shook his head, "Okay, let's go."

He put on his coat, got out of the trailer, went to the suspension dock where the crew was located, and exchanged a few words with Gilmoret Toro about the next shooting. Khlo Moretz and Jessica Chastain had finished shooting and left. When his final shot was finished, the crew's work on the Brooklyn Bridge would be over.

The shooting was not very smooth. The hero witnessed the crash of the helicopter on which his wife and daughter were riding, which required a certain emotional outbreak. Matthew had just returned from the warm trailer to the cold night wind, and his body was a little tight. He took photos five or six times in a row, but he did not achieve the effect Guilmo del Toro wanted.

The last shot was taken and it was almost four o'clock in the morning. Fortunately, Matthew found his status behind him, otherwise he would have to come for another night.

"It's finally done."

After the crew finished work, Gilmo del Toro handed over the remaining work to his assistant, came to find Matthew and said, "Let's go, Aziva and the reporter are waiting for us in front of the bridge. When there is still some time, hurry up and finish the interview."

Matthew put on the coat sent by Bella Anderson, opened the thermos, took a sip of hot tea, and said, "This winter is so cold."

Gilmo del Toro led the way and walked towards the entrance of the bridge. He saw Matthew following him and said, "Because we spent all the winters in Southern California."

Matthew couldn't help laughing, "It makes sense! The winter in Southern California is warm."

The two walked and chatted, and soon arrived at the temporary roadblock set up by the crew in front of the Brooklyn Bridge. The crew members were clearing the roadblocks to restore the Brooklyn Bridge area before four o'clock.

Two photojournalists are taking photos with this background.

There was also a reporter who accompanied Aziva Gosman to stand up and waved immediately after seeing Matthew and Gilmore Del Toro coming.

Aziva Gossman brought a reporter from Warner Bros. Variety Show. Variety Show and Hollywood Reporter are known as the two major entertainment newspapers in the United States. They have always been the first choice for Hollywood movies.

Time is limited, Aziva Gossman introduced the two sides, said hello, and the interview began immediately.

One of the two photojournalists came back to take pictures of the interview.

The reporter first asked Aziva Gossman, "It is said that Will Smith has also competed for this role. Why did you choose Matthew instead of Will Smith?"

Aziva Gosman said without hesitation, "As a screenwriter, I believe in the extraordinary ability to use words to create a character, but the talent to express words in body language is equally important. Matthew is such an outstanding actor, who can convey a lot of things with performances containing many ideas and emotions."

This kind of question is set in advance, and the answer is self-evident.

The reporter immediately asked Guilmo del Toro, "This is your first cooperation with Matthew. Can you tell me about the situation of this cooperation?"

Gilmo del Toro estimated that he had been busy these days. After thinking for a while, he recalled the set answer and said, "What fascinates Matthew is his outward warmth and charm. He can always bring so many different scales to his character, so that your eyes cannot be removed from him for a moment. You may sometimes sympathize with him, sometimes fear him; you will laugh with him, and then scream with him... All these layers can exist in his performance at the same time. The most important thing about this character is that he must be able to convey everything he is going through, physically and emotionally, without any form of dialogue."

Finally, the reporter's question came to Matthew, "Can you evaluate your new role?"

"I got my wish to be able to play this role." Matthew remembers it very clearly, but it was natural. "For me, this role is very unique because I need to perform with behavior. It is really an incredible exercise, because you can't find the person you talk to, but you still need to communicate. This is the central part that I need to pay attention to when performing. You can find out your role and some parts that you haven't noticed, whether from the art form or from a psychological point of view, it is a very fascinating and worth exploring."

The location shooting in New York has come to an end for the time being. Matthew met Helen Herman at Kennedy Airport that morning and flew to Milan, Italy to participate in the signing ceremony of Armani men's and women's underwear spokespersons.
