Chapter 33 Scam

In the evening, a freight train from Gorky slowly drove into Tyumen Station. Boris Ilych Pogolovsky nodded and greeted the conductor, then turned around and helped Papa Petrov slowly walked off the platform from the train. Papa Petrov was wearing a valuable foreign brand suit and a pair of glasses, which looked like a state cadre. Boris was dressed in a well-deserved outfit, and his outfit made them look like an ordinary person at the same time.

Boris said a few words to the staff around him, and then the cabin doors of more than a dozen cars were opened one by one. The loaders and unloaders at the train station immediately became busy. The carriage was full of flour and the whole box of canned food placed together in wooden boxes were moved out of the carriage one by one and moved into a large warehouse in the station's freight area. This warehouse was just packed with a lot of money a few days ago.

Boris Ilych Pogolovsky and Petrov were respectfully invited to a lounge by the station managers. The service staff presented fine wine and food to Boris and Petrov. Boris and Petrov ate a little bit, then washed their faces, slightly relieved the fatigue of the journey. Then Boris signaled to the station staff that he needed to make a call. Petrov waved his hand, and Boris took out a few rubles from his pocket and stuffed them into the hands of the guys who had been around him. These people immediately left the room tactfully.

Boris took out a note from his pocket and dialed it according to the phone number written on it. After a while, a sweet voice came: "Hello, this is Tyumen Petroleum Hotel. What do you need?"

"Please help me transfer room 4201, thank you!" Boris replied.

After waiting for about 10 seconds, the phone finally answered. Boris lowered his voice and asked, "Seryosha?"

The man opposite replied, "Yes, it's me, Boris."

"The things are done! My dad and I have arrived in Tyumen now." Boris said.

"You find a more luxurious place to stay. Don't go anywhere in the past few days, don't contact anyone, do you understand, Boris?" Seryosha reminded Boris.

"Don't worry, Seryosha, for the sake of money, we will be honest! I don't know if these stupid pigs will be fooled. You are just playing with them as monkeys." Boris joked. After that, he made a face at Petrov's father. The father was also amused.

"They deserve to be fooled. If this matter is done, I will give Yakov a good car. I will give you one of you a big gift." Seryosha also said to Boris with a smile.

...

A few days later, a news circulated among the gray traders of all sizes in Tyumen City. A large merchant had arrived in Tyumen and lived in the guesthouse of the municipal party committee. He held a train of intimidating supplies in his hand and stored them in the warehouse of the train station. Anyone who eats this batch of goods can almost become the largest trader in Tyumen City. This made these merchants who were rushing to catch up with the wrongdoers almost red, including the Tatar Lomonosov, who now sends people to inquire about the news almost every day.

These days, outside the door of the Municipal Party Committee Guesthouse, countless pairs of eyes staring at the figures entering and leaving. Once a strange face appears, they will be surrounded by a group of people. This makes many tourists from other places a little puzzled. However, the big rich man they wanted to see has been living in the hotel and refused to show up. Only his entourage, a young man named Boris, showed his face from time to time.

Boris has received a lot of invitations in the past few days, some stuffed in through the cracks of the door, and some brought in by the waiter. Seeing these people in a very anxious look every day is Boris and his father's greatest pleasure. Since Seriosha and the others have already shown their face, it is not convenient to get involved with Boris and the others for the time being. Seriosha is just secretly giving advice.

Although this drama cost a lot of money and Mihail took a lot of relationships to get a train, it seems that the effect is still good at present. Not much of the warehouse is real, as long as it is not revealed, Selyosha will be sure to continue playing. This move is just the trick of pretending to be Hong Kong businessmen, Taiwanese businessmen and even foreign businessmen playing the trick of making a fuss in China's reform and opening up process. In the era of China decades later, there is no newness, but in the era where Selyosha is located, it is different. At least these people in Tyumen are very fond of it.

Seriosha also pretended to be a trader interested in this business, and sent Yakov to guard the door of the municipal party committee guesthouse and offered a high price to buy a waiter to inquire about the news. Boris and Petrov's father in the room performed a good show according to Seriosha's instructions.

"BOSS, who do you think we will cooperate with?" Boris respectfully asked Papa Petrov for advice.

Papa Petrov did not answer him, but was smoking there all the time. The waiter who eavesdropped outside the door was already impatient. Papa took a sip of coffee and said casually: "Boris, I think we may have come to the wrong place. No one here can eat all our goods. There is oil here, but the locals don't have much money."

"Does we have transported these supplies here from afar and are going to return without success?" Boris asked pretending to be anxious.

"Boris, don't worry if you want to make money. There are opportunities. The merchants here are not strong enough. They are all small fish and shrimps. Instead of staying here to argue with them, we might as well try our luck in another place." Mr. Petrov said slowly.

"BOSS, it would be too troublesome if we transported all these materials. Can't we deal with some?" Boris asked earnestly.

"Boris, don't you see that? The guys here want to suppress our prices. They don't think about it. Are we just letting them slaughter us at such a big risk? A group of frogs in the well did not look at their status, and wanted to discuss business with me. If we don't welcome us here, we will go to Siberia and Central Asia. Those places may be more welcome and we will earn more money." Papa Petrov said with a slight angrily.

"How about we exchange the goods for oil? After all, there are so many things here." Boris continued to suggest respectfully.

"If it's oil, it's not bad, but we can't make much money for this thing, so I'm still inclined to leave here." Papa Petrov seemed to have loosened his attitude.
