Chapter eight hundred and ninth small courtyard in the backyard
As the novice monk said, we had already arrived at the cafeteria and entered the novice monk and took me to the place where I could have dinner.
I sat down and placed a bowl of white rice porridge, with a little pickled vegetables on it, and a bun on it.
"Thank you, senior brother."
After sitting down, I thanked me first, and the novice monk sat down with me, but before eating, he had to recite scriptures and thank me first before he could eat.
I followed them to thank them and started eating.
It was very quiet when eating in the Buddhist temple. Everyone was focused on eating and was reluctant to waste a grain of food.
At this time, I was the only one observing these people. These people were all a little pretty, everyone was silent, and they were particularly quiet when eating.
I sat down and didn't move after eating. I waited for the people to move before I got up and took my dishes and washed.
The novice monk came to me, and then we went out together. When I went out, I asked the novice monk: "Have you ever happened here?"
"It happened, but I'm not sure if it's true," said Nobita.
"Senior brother, but it's okay."
When I said this, the senior brother looked at me for a while, and then the senior brother said, "I also heard that there is actually another reason for this Lingyin Temple to be built here."
"Yeah?"
"That's the case."
The senior brother then said: "I heard from my master that there are white bones under Lingyin Temple. In fact, at the earliest, Lingyin Temple also had a name, White Bone Temple.
I asked the master why he called such a name. The master said it was because there were white bones under the Lingyin Temple, and the white bones were getting more and more climate."
"Then anyone has seen this bone?"
"Of course I have seen it. Master said that in the early years, he often heard people talking in the backyard of the temple when he was practicing, but when he walked in, he could not see anything.
The master said that he had been practicing in the temple since he was a child and didn't feel strange when he saw it, but at that time, the master was still a child and felt particularly strange when he heard it, so he went to tell his master.
Later, a ritual was performed in the backyard, and the master said that he never heard anyone speak again.
But the day when the master said that he was officially abbot, he saw a man sitting opposite him and looking at him.
The master said that although the man did not speak, he felt that he was the one who spoke in the backyard when he was a child. The master was a monk who was enlightened. When he talked to us about these things, he also talked about another thing.
The master said that when he was a child, he was ignorant and saw a stone tablet without words in the corner of the backyard. There were a few words written on it. He didn't understand these words at that time. He thought it was a bit fun there, so he touched the small stone tablet, and the stone tablet fell to the ground.
Only then did he hear someone talking in the backyard. Later, the backyard was doing rituals, and the master's master strengthened the magic power on the stone tablet.
The master said that all things are the same in their practice. It was only later that he realized this after becoming a monk. He went to the corner of the backyard and moved the stone tablet away.
After that, the master met the two."
"You said they were two people?" I asked the novice monk, who nodded: "It was two people, and the master said they were them, and I think they were two people."
I thought about it and said, "Senior Brother, please continue."
"After that, the master often saw them, and ordered people to free up the backyard for those two people to use.
We can't go to the backyard, only the master and senior brother can go.
Once when I heard from Master about these two people, Master said that they were really pitiful, saying that the man was originally a scholar, but his fate was not good. He was originally a Buddhist son in his previous life, but because he moved his mind, he had to come down to earth to practice.
But his original intention remained unchanged, but he forgot his way.
After several lifetimes, I was unable to return to the Buddha realm, and even fell into the mortal world, I had to go through disasters again and again.
In the disaster, it is always because his beloved woman died in front of him, or because the woman married someone else, died in depression, or because the woman kidnapped someone, ended up ruining her reputation, and died in a different place, or because she became his sister-in-law and his sister, and they could not have any good cause and effect.
If this continues, in this last life, he would die in his beloved and sacrifice himself to his lover, and he would become an evil ghost.
The evil ghost hurt people, and he hurts the people and creatures here. In desperation, the construction of Lingyin Temple also died because of him.
I heard from my master that he became friends with him. When my master died, he told me that Lingyin Temple will never be destroyed and he will never be reborn. Where will the day of enlightenment come from?
I asked the master why he let him go since he was an evil ghost. The master said, if he was really an evil ghost, how could he jump off the cliff with his lover in his arms?
People in the world are ignorant, so I am Buddha…”
The novice monk dared not say anything more, but I said, "I am also foolish?"
The novice monk dared not say that his fair face could not hide his compassionate heart.
"Your master is friends with evil ghosts, and evil ghosts regard your master as a friend of life and death. If I am not wrong, after your master left, the bells and drums in your Lingyin Temple were constantly surrounding you for 9981 days."
The novice monk said, "It's true."
Then I said, "That's it. Evil ghosts also have feelings, which are better than living Buddhas."
The shady monk looked at me and was stunned for a few seconds. After a long time, the shady monk said, "They are all very pitiful. The purity of monks is practice. If the people in the secular world are as pure as us, and if the people in the secular world have abstained from lust and have cut off the seven emotions and six desires, then this world is really terrible."
"The senior brother understands so much, and I am deeply impressed." I said, and after a Buddhist ritual, the novice monk looked at me: "The donor is so polite."
"Can you take me to the backyard to see?" I asked the novice monk. The novice monk thought for a while and said, "It's nothing to go to the backyard, but not everyone can go to the backyard. I want to ask our master, but the master is not here."
"Then I'll go to the backyard door to check it out, don't know if it's OK?"
The novice monk shook his head, but he still refused.
Only then did I give up the idea and follow the novice monks to the top of the Buddhist temple. When they arrived there, they had already started their evening class, so I sat in it and listened to their chanting.
Thinking of listening to Zi'er's chanting, I not only ended and entered into meditation.
When I fell asleep, I walked out of the Buddhist temple and unknowingly arrived outside the Buddhist temple.
This Buddhist temple can actually lead to the backyard, but I came out from the main entrance and had to go around to the backyard.
When I arrived at the backyard, I looked towards the backyard. Although it was a backyard, Lingyin Temple was very big and there were many backyards. There were also many houses in the backyard.
I walked for a while, looked at the doors of those houses, looked at the innermost part, and walked over to the yard in a fairly moderate way. When I got there, I raised my hand and knocked on the door. As a result, no one answered in the door, so I pushed open the door and walked in. If someone answered, it means there was someone inside, it would not be the place I was looking for.
It was not desolate when I pushed the door and entered, but it was well-organized, and there were some clean decorations that were wiped.
