Chapter 1403 Guerrilla War Behind Enemy

It is summer now, and in the Neo-Grudok region of Belarus, the dense Nary Burk Forest is lush everywhere.

As night falls, although the sun has not yet completely set, the forest has already darkened due to the obstruction of leaves. Only through the gaps of leaves and scattered light shines, just like a candle in the dark.

A man, holding a Monassingan rifle with a bayonet, walked slowly in the forest. The Red Army uniform on his body was so dirty that he could not see the original color. He didn't know where his hat was thrown. His beard was very long, as if he had turned into Santa Claus.

He was still walking slowly, and suddenly, his steps stopped.

There was movement in the bushes!

When he gently lifted the bushes, he was pressed against the opponent's rifle. The same Monassingan rifle, with bayonets, and the same dirty warrior.

"It's your own person!" The person on the opposite side suddenly shouted excitedly: "Which part of you are from? I am from the 326th Infantry Regiment. We were broken up. Now we don't know where our troops are."

Looking at these people, the man said, "My name is Nekhodyayev, and I was also broken up, but now I have found the organization again, the Party organization in the New Grudok region has organized local guerrillas. Now, we are contacting the lost soldiers and welcome you to join the guerrillas."

Guerrillas? After hearing Nekhodyayev's words, these men were a little hesitant: "We are regular soldiers, we hide here, hoping to break through the German blockade and return to our troops."

Because the Germans' attack was too fast, many Soviet troops were separated during the retreat. These soldiers were stranded in groups of three or five in the Germans' occupied areas. For them, they did not want to join the guerrillas, but wanted to return to the regular troops.

Seeing these people's hesitation, Nekhodyayev was quite clear, because he also experienced such struggles in his heart: "Yes, our ultimate goal is to return to our troops, but now, we must regroup, embrace our group, and gradually expand our organization so that we can avoid the German army's search and find opportunities to break through again and return to the front line. During this period, we can use the form of guerrilla warfare to deal a heavy blow to the enemy."

After saying that, Nekhodyayev pointed to the distance and said, "Just five kilometers away from us, there is a railway. This railway that the Germans helped to build was completely prepared to invade us. Now most of the Germans' military supplies are transported through this railway. If we destroy this railway, we will provide assistance to the front line. Think about it, these trains transport ammunition and fuel, and are hitting our comrades!"

These people were finally moved, and the leader Labanoke said: "Okay, then we can join the guerrillas, but we can't seem to do anything. We have no supplies and no food. In fact, we have been hungry for several days and have started eating tree roots."

They are pale and thin, malnourished, and occasionally catch animals in the forest, which is definitely a delicious meal. If they didn't rely on their firm perseverance, they wouldn't be able to hold on at all.

Nekhodyayev looked at the watch he was wearing and said, "In another two hours, our supplies will arrive. Let me take you to receive the supplies."

The supply has arrived? Labanoke swallowed and said to the people around him: "Let's go together."

During this period, they were wandering in the forest and had long been familiar with everything nearby. They could feel that Nekhodyayev was heading south with them.

None of the people spoke, they could only make rustling sounds when walking. As they kept walking, they became further and further away from their activity area, making people even feel indescribable.

What if Nekhodyayev was a puppet army? What if he was the one from the Belarusian People's Liberation Army who was here to lure his side to surrender?

Thinking of this, their pace slowed down and they gave each other a wink, feeling that it was a bit too hasty just now.

Just then, suddenly, my eyes lit up.

The trees around them disappeared, and this place became a not-so-wide flat land, and here they saw several other people.

"The harvest is good." One of them stood up and said to Nekhodyayev.

"Yes, captain, I found several comrades, they were all hungry, why don't you give them some food first?" Nekhodyayev said.

The captain took out a few pieces of hard, dry black bread from Kuabao on the side and walked towards Labanoke and the others. Suddenly, they felt inexplicably excited.

The man in front of him was also very dirty, but it was obvious that he was actually a major with his epaulette!

"Comrade Major, we were broken up," said Labanoke.

"Yes, we were all broken up." said the major: "I sent people to search everywhere, hoping to find more of our comrades in the woods. Fortunately, we have a good harvest today. You must be hungry, so eat some bread first."

Labanoke and others took the bread and ate it in big mouthfuls. They were indeed very hungry.

The major looked at the watch and said, "Let's light the fire, our plane is coming."

ignition!

Several piles of firewood had been collected on this open space. Now, after receiving the order from the major, they immediately ignited the firewood, and it was not burning vigorously. However, if you could clearly see several bonfires from the sky, forming a straight line, which was the clearest landing sign.

There was no sound, a small biplane Wu-2 aircraft landed easily along this straight line. When its wheels were in contact with the ground, the aircraft gently tilted and then landed steadily.

Its propeller did not move, its engine had stopped rotating, and it was actually gliding!

Labanoke's eyes widened. He watched the plane fall down, and the back seat of the plane was piled up with supplies!

"Thank you for your hard work, Yuri." When the plane stopped, the major stepped forward and shouted. Obviously, it was not the first time they had known each other.

"No need to work hard, you guys should take off your things quickly. We will fly another flight tonight to deliver supplies to other guerrillas." Yuri said.

The trainer with a simple structure, Wu-2, is an absolute versatile Soviet player. It can take off and land in just a few dozen meters of open space, so it is also the most suitable to use it to provide supplies to the guerrillas in the enemy-occupied area.
