Chapter 1 Bards from the Old World

Hearing the maid say this, this girl who is very noble and is a little strange to be called the Eternal Queen by the elves. In Rothern, this amount of rain is usually considered normal and will not affect the lives of the elves. Otherwise, there would not be so many people on the street.

The girl was simple in her mind, so she naturally would not understand that this was the discrimination of the high elf against this human with a mask. However, after thinking about it, she still was unwilling to go against the other party's wishes. So she made up her mind: "Is it okay to listen to another song and leave?" Asked the maid in this way.

"Of course, your highness." The maid agreed to the girl's opinion after a little weighing. In her opinion, it was just a song, and it was no big deal.

"So, is that OK? This gentleman? Can you play the previous music?" the girl asked the human wearing a mask.

"Of course, noble lady." The man nodded, then set up a violin and started playing. The gentle music like spring rain sounded again, making people immersed in it and unable to extricate themselves. Even the maid who did not want the queen to have too much relationship with humans was particularly glad at this moment that he had not rejected the queen's request before, so that he could enjoy this level of wonderful music.

At the end of the song, the elves immersed in the musical atmosphere forgot about the racial estrangement and the chauvinism that penetrated their bones in a short period of time. They applauded and congratulated each other.

"This is the first time I have heard such beautiful music." The girl showed a smile like a wild rose. After that, she seemed to want to say something more, but the maid standing behind her coughed inappropriately, reminding her that she should leave.

This made the girl feel unwilling and resistant. However, this kind of mood comes and goes quickly. It only took a moment. Even the girl himself could not detect it.

"Let's come again tomorrow." The girl finally looked at the man with a silver mask with a little reluctant view. Then she made such a decision.

When she turned around and left, the other elves saluted again and gave it to her respectfully. As the carriage left, the elves left in groups. After a while, only the man with a silver mask was left.

Today I didn't make a penny... But unlike the previous few days, the man was in a very happy mood. He hummed a small song and carried a violin to the tavern where he stayed, and called a glass of honey wine with the remaining silver coins and started drinking it happily. Although the wine was not a top-quality product, he still drank it very happily - mainly because he felt happy.

The owner of the tavern frowned when he saw him like this. As the man's landlord, he naturally knew the guy's musical talent and ability. He has sincerity invited the man to play in his shop many times. The boss is sure that with this guy's music to attract customers, his tavern will definitely make more money.

As a high elves who had traveled to the Sigma Empire, the tavern owner knew very well how these guys who were traveling around with musical instruments were worth to the tavern.

It's just a pity that this guy didn't agree to his plan at all. He still ran to the street every day and was playing a singing life that would never make money. This made the boss very puzzled. Since they were all singing, why didn't he run to Rothern's street here? If it was because there were many people there and he could make money, he had already failed many times.

"It's so strange, this guy." The boss gave the man with a silver mask a "strange guy" judgment in his heart. Of course, this is understandable. Because he is indeed very strange.

However, despite this, the tavern owner still did not give up on recruiting him. He thought that after a few times, this strange guy would recognize the reality and sing in his store for the sake of life. Otherwise, he would not even have the rent for this month, let alone the travel expenses needed to continue wandering around.

But seeing this guy being so happy today and having a rare call for wine, the tavern owner muttered in his heart: Could this guy make money, right? If that were the case, wouldn’t my plan be ruined?!

So the tavern owner asked, "So happy? Have you made money today?"

"No, there is no." The man replied.

The tavern owner was surprised and asked, "Since that's the case, why are you still so happy?"

"Because--" The man didn't say any reason, just smiled. It made the tavern owner inexplicably and was a little angry. He thought to himself: "In a few days it will be time to pay the rent. What should you do if you can't afford to come up with the money to see you?"

In the next few days, the girl, the eternal queen of the high elf, Ariel, would take time out every day to go out to the man wearing a mask, and listen to him play a violin. It was during this short period of time that she and the human wearing a mask began to become familiar with each other.

The man claimed to be a bard traveling around the world, with the purpose of creating more and better music, and also to let everyone in the world feel the beauty of music.

Arrier felt that she seemed to have begun to fall in love with this man. The scenery he described in the outside world. The towering sky, the endless mountains, the deep and quiet forest in the middle. The endless fields, the herd of grazing cattle and the ports everywhere, the canvas is like the clouds in the sky. Tyriel...

All of this made the girl who had almost never walked out of this city feel novel. In conjunction with the man's words, the extremely beautiful voice made Arrier almost unable to extricate himself.

"It would be great if I could listen to the stories told by this person and the music he played." Ariel thought so more than once... But unfortunately, a few days later, the man told her that he was leaving. This disappointed Ariel and asked him if he could stay today for more.
