Chapter 82 Heavy Snow

The old abbot of the Dharma Assembly quickly stood up, shouted Shaoyu, and rushed to Luohan Hall with Shaoyu's support.

While walking, the old host muttered, "Oh, I overslept, so careless...

I don’t know what happened to the donor when the heavy snow last night!

But don't have any accidents."

Shaoyu comforted her, "Abbot, that donor is so powerful that he doesn't get too much rain. He doesn't eat rice or drink water for half a year. Don't he live well? I think he must be fine."

He said that, but as a southerner, he felt such a cold weather for the first time, even Shaoyu's strong physique was a little trembling. In his heart, he really didn't think that the man could survive that cold night.

When the two of them came to the Luohan Hall, they were immediately jumped!

I saw a snowman under the Bodhi tree.

"He...he won't die, right?" Shao Yu said trembling.

"Save people... Save people quickly!" the Dharmahui shouted.

Just as Shaoyu was about to run over, the two of them were surprised to see that a few words were written out of thin air on the snow-white ground: "No need."

When the two looked at each other and then looked at the snowman, they felt like they were looking at God.

"Abbot, what should I do?" Shao Yu asked.

The abbot of the Dharma Assembly clasped his hands together and said, "Amitabha, since the donor is fine, then we will not disturb you."

The two left.

On this day, the Dharma Assembly asked Shaoyu to lock the door behind the Dharma Hall and no one was allowed to go there.

Shaoyu is responsible for protecting the door and ensuring that the donor behind him can quietly meditate and enlighten the Tao.

Shaoyu originally thought that at most one year, the person should leave.

What surprised Shaoyu was that two years passed in a flash and there was still no movement in the backyard.

In the past two years, a lot of things happened.

The little novice monks at the beginning were unable to purify their Zen minds, and some could not bear the sufferings on the mountain. In the end, two left, and one little novice monk and this little slang practiced.

The abbot of the Dharma Assembly is getting older, and his body is getting worse day by day.

Things on the mountain are basically dependent on few words.

Shaoyu carries water to cook in the morning, takes Xiaoshami to clean the Buddhist temple in the morning, cooks at noon, preaches in the afternoon, and then cooks supper, and also takes care of the Dharma Assembly.

It can be said that Shaoyu has become the only support in this small temple.

The temple is getting dilapidated, the incense is getting less and less, and even new monks are no longer available.

It's another cold winter, the strong wind blows, and the fallen leaves are flying...

"Everyone says it's so cool... Why do I feel my heart is cold too?" Shaoyu sat in front of the door that had been locked for two years, looked up at the sky and sighed.

The old presided over the ritual meeting came from a distance, and he immediately ran over to take care of the old presided over.

But he didn't notice that the figure under the Bodhi tree in the backyard had a slight shaking for the first time, and he murmured:

"If things are mixed, they are born before heaven and earth, they are silent and lonely, independent but not changed, and they move around without danger, and they can be the mother of heaven and earth.

I don’t know its name, but I call it Dao, and I call it Da.”

If there were people from the same time and space as Jiang Zhe, they would definitely hear that he was talking about the content of Chapter 25 of the Tao Te Ching.

Translated:

There is something that is mixed and existed before the formation of heaven and earth.

It cannot hear its sound or see its body. It is silent and empty, and it does not rely on any external force to survive independently and never stop, and it runs circulating and never deplete. It can be the foundation of all things.

I don't know its name, so I barely called it "Tao" and then barely named it "big".

This is the description and definition of Tao in the Tao Te Ching.

Jiang Zhe continued to murmur: "Practice the Tao, practice the Tao, people turn into the Tao, and the Tao is ruthless. The Tao is ruthless and regards all things as straw dogs. In the eyes of the Tao, there are no preferential treatments or mistresses. All living beings are ants. I won't look at you more, and many look at you, letting you come with the wind and destroy with the wind, just like the wild grass and wild dogs on the roadside...

If the Tao is like this, can it be the same for those who practice Taoism?"

Jiang Zhe asked the questions that had accumulated in his heart for two years.

At the same time, a rumble sound came from outside the Double Stone Peak.

"Master, what are you doing there? The drums are so loud." Xiaoxia Ji asked curiously.

Shaoyu scratched his head, indicating that he didn't know either.

Just then, a voice came: "It seems that some Nanyue Martial Arts Conference is going to be held there. It is said that many domestic masters have come, and the competition will be held tomorrow. Wouldn't the two mages go and see?"

When the two of them heard this, they saw two tourists coming over.

These two stone peaks are different from other peaks. The peaks are almost straight up and down. Although the steps up and down are often repaired, many places are vertically up and down, which is very difficult to climb.

Ordinary people will be exhausted even if they climb all the way.

But these two people looked calm and composed.

Among the two, a boy, with a slender figure, a gentle smile and a look like a falcon, giving people a feeling of rebelliousness.

The other person was an old man with his hands on his back and his face was sinister.

The two walked very calmly, and they were not ordinary people at first glance.

Shaoyu put his hands together and pronounced the Buddha's name: "Amitabha, thank you for your two donors for solving your doubts. Are you here to worship the Buddha?"

The boy smiled and said, "Master, do you burn incense?"

The old man snorted coldly and said, "Mr. Chen, in this life, does not believe in heaven, earth, or Buddhism. When I come here, I am just idle and have nothing to do, just go around... Little monk, you don't have to worry about us. I just don't believe it, but I won't disrespect your beliefs."

When Shaoyu heard this, he smiled slightly, and was not angry: "Those two donors, please feel free."

Then Shaoyu, pulled Juefa and turned around to the side, continued to listen to the drums, looking at Tongtian Peak, the main peak of Nanyue in the distance.

Juefa seemed very excited: "Master, you are so strong and so powerful when you hit me, why don't you go? I think they have to admit defeat if you go."

Shaoyu blushed and said, "Uh... how can monks fight and kill all day long? Besides, I'm going, they're doing anything, haha..."

"Shaoyu, monks do not lie!" The voice of the Dharma Assembly came.

Shaoyu smiled bitterly and said, "This...oh, I can't beat it even if I go, okay?"

Juefa is different from the other two little novice monks. Those two were sent up the mountain by their family members. Juefa is an orphan who was adopted by the Fahui since childhood and was taken care of by Shaoyu.

So, he grew up so old that he had almost never descended the mountain and had almost no knowledge of what was happening below the mountain.

With his cognitive ability, Shaoyu is the most powerful person in the world, and the Dharma Assembly is the most majestic old man.

Now that I heard that there were people over there who could not even beat Shaoyu, my eyes were so bright that I was extremely curious.
