Bye bye, my little tiger

The summer of 2009 was special for Wei Xia. He changed the team, left Los Angeles and returned to his hometown, and successfully proposed to Elaine. For a few days, he was very idle, but Elaine was dealing with a private matter in Los Angeles. When he heard that his parents were going to the UK, he followed him.

His grandfather lives here in London, England.

He hasn't been to the UK since he went to college. Although all the memories of London, England were before going to college, he was really unforgettable for several reasons.

Queuing. Queuing is a traditional British culture, but it has changed its flavor. He is unable to complain about it. The British not only love queuing, but also do not allow others to urge them. A large group of people just wait for no one to remind them. Then, from the government to the people, the efficiency of Britain is not far and wide. Often, a team does not move for an hour, and no one reminds them.

In the UK, queuing is considered a politically correct thing. No matter who you are, queuing. The original intention of queuing is to maintain order, maintain fairness, and improve efficiency. It should have rules and bottom lines, but the people of this country completely regard queuing as a kind of elderly care and leisure.

Also, the shocking red light behavior.

The way of crossing the road in the UK is exactly the same as that in some developing countries. They gather together a group of people, ignore the traffic lights, and cross the road directly.

If it is a wide multi-lane road, the "braves" may also have some concerns. When they encounter small streets and roads, they will just run alone and drive thousands of cars.

It is basic to have a few random rains every day. Sun rain is commonplace, and there are very few thunders in the UK, and it is rainy and rainy.

"Sao Rui" and "3Q" are all about it. If you want to say what the British say the most, it must be Sao Rui.

Don’t say I’m really sorry for others, even if I look at you more on the road, I will say “Sao Rui” to you.

Wei Xia's mother Mei Chen once told her this story to show that the quality and cultivation of the British are far higher than that of the Americans: In our UK (with a proud look), even if you step on the little girl's feet in high heels, she will not cry (more proud). She will only say to you with a embarrassed look, "Sao Rui, can you please move your feet away from me?"

It's so classic that Wei Xia will never forget it.

The most terrifying thing is the London Underground.

As we all know, 80% of white people have body sensations, almost all black people have body sensations, and East Asians have the lightest and least sensations.

The body odors of different races are not the same. The body odor of white people comes from the mutton secreted by the sweat glands of eating meat and underarms. Black people have a strong smell of odor. There is also a body odor-the Indian. The three major races with their own body odor are like mobile biological and chemical weapons. Wherever they go, the air will be occupied by the body odor with curry smell and cannot be dissipated for a long time.

The original intention of the invention of perfume was to cover up body odor. In public places in the UK, there were crowds of people, but there was no obvious body odor, because everyone applied antiperspirant dew and sprayed perfume when they went out. As summer was coming, the temperature was rising, and the body odor was spread faster. Places with a large number of people and air were not circulating became severely affected areas, such as the London Underground.

Wei Xia clearly remembers that he was only 10 years old at that time. When he was riding the subway with his mother outside, a group of sweat-covered black brothers passed by in front of him. In those few minutes, he felt that he was dead.

After walking out of the subway, Wei Xia sighed in her heart, it’s great to live.

He was only 10 years old at that time, what a painful understanding that was that!

This time, I came to London with my parents mainly to relax, and Elaine didn't follow her because of some things.

Wei Xia met her grandfather and grandmother. The two old men were very interesting. One liked to brag and the other liked to poke the tires on the spot.

Wei Xia’s grandfather is the poor man who is always poked in front of the tires.

He loves to brag about himself, especially in front of Wei Xia's father, who seems to be knowledgeable, but he doesn't even know anything about the Internet. All the news comes from the extremely unreliable NCL TV station. He once thought the NBA was a cricket league.

I have to admit that coming to London does have the effect of relaxing.

However, Wei Xia was too happy.

He forgot what was as terrible as the body scent of the alien people on the London Underground, the original British cuisine.

Although Mei Chen is a British, she has lived in the United States for more than 20 years. Just like a Chinese chef who opens a restaurant in the United States, their skills must have been beautified and become more suitable for the tastes of the locals. Mei Chen retains the essence of British cuisine and caters to the local American tastes.

Although she cooks British cuisine, she does not have the soul of "British cuisine".

For the real British cuisine, for Wei Xia, a foreign population, the worse thing is whether it can be eaten. The British have no idea about cooking. They boil it in water, fry it in oil pan, and eat it directly. Anyway, they all eat it, and they are completely unaware of oil, salt, sauce, vinegar, etc.

Sometimes when I look at the green vegetables, I feel a little appetite and put them in my mouth. Wow, it’s really not worth it!

Wei Xia's parents have to live in London for the first half of a month, and Wei Xia plans to stay for three days.

On the first day, I mainly adapted, and on the second day, I could go out with my grandfather and go around.

Sure enough, it still tasted the same as I was a kid.

In three days, Wei Xia took away all his worries, completely ignoring what the outside world was like.

If you don’t look at such humid weather, unbearable food, bad place names, damn traditions of queueing, and inefficient service skills, it is still acceptable.

On the fourth day, Wei Xia decided to leave on time.

He didn't want to stay in London until he was tired of it. He should be like this. He felt nostalgic about the place he left, but he must not succumb to that feeling. Otherwise, if he stayed, all the beauty would turn into disgust. Moreover, London didn't bring so much beauty to Wei Xia.

While packing his luggage, Wei Xia found a familiar and unfamiliar key.

But in a few seconds, he recognized that it was the key to Kim DiLecter's house. He had never returned the key.

Since the day he and Elaine confirmed their relationship, Weisha and DiLecter have maintained a pure friendship. As they got engaged, his past with DiLecter has been sealed in his heart.

This key seemed to hook Wei Xia back to the past, but he didn't miss it. He just wanted to draw a rest for this experience - return the key back.

So, he booked a flight from London to Los Angeles.

After 11 hours of flight, Wei Xia arrived in Los Angeles safely.

No one knew he was coming, plus the quality cover, and the arrival time, and there was an 8-hour time difference between London and Los Angeles.

It was 5 pm when Wei Xia walked out of the airport.

He picked up his cell phone and called DiLecter.

She said she was at home, but he might not see her.

"It's okay, I just want to return the keys from your house to you because I've moved to Philadelphia." Wei Xia wanted to find a reason for his behavior.

DiLecter asked seductively: "If I moved to Philadelphia, do you still want the keys to my house?"

A wave of embarrassing silence.

"I'm kidding, come on."

Wei Xia was sleepy and had already booked the ticket to Philadelphia, returned the keys, and left immediately.

This is his plan.

He came to DiLecter's house and rang the doorbell, but no one turned it on.

He took out the key and was about to open the door and put the key in it, but found that the key could not be inserted in any case.

A few seconds later, he realized that the key could no longer open the door.

Wei Xia looked at the key in her palm. Perhaps this was his only remaining connection with Los Angeles.

In the past four years, he has gone from a pride of heaven in Philadelphia to a Lakers FMVP. In a summer, all his achievements here have gone with the wind.

The Lakers refused to match the contract and withdrew their offer, which was ruthless and had a little human touch - giving Wei Xia the right to choose the team freely - but Wei Xia was not grateful for this at all.

There are many people in history who helped the team win the championship and were elected as FMVP to be traded by the team the next year or the year after, but absolutely no FMVP. After being injured, they didn't even have a chance to prove themselves, so they were let go by their parent team.

Wei Xia believes that he will never have any connection with the city again.

The key, the remaining connection, was placed at the door by Wei Xia, and then he turned around and never looked back.

Kim DiLecter saw Wei Xia through the surveillance video at the door. She did not open the door, but just watched quietly. Until Wei Xia put the key at the door and turned around and left, she did not open the door.

She knew that this was the best.

"Goodbye, my little tiger."
