Chapter 156 The cultivation of the fifth order lies in the emperor
Chapter 156: The fifth level of cultivation lies in the human emperor
Just after finding the right person, Fang Xin didn't care. With a thought in his mind, a little invisible light fell out of thin air and fell on the top of the girl. This is the coordinates.
After this matter was completed, Fang Xin immediately relaxed without any hesitation.
After the lunch banquet, Zhang Zhuo invited Fang Xin to come in and said that Zhang Zhuo was also a Jinshi, who worked tirelessly for decades and had a profound knowledge. Fang Xin even memorized the subtle and great righteousness of the sages, and said with sermons, and said with sermons as if they were talking about it: "Mr. Zhang, students think that benevolent is the foundation of etiquette, and etiquette is the use of benevolence, which is the original intention of sages."
"Yeah, I'm right, but I still think it's a bit rough. For example, when it comes to the meaning, it must be the word filial piety and brotherly elder brotherly elderly. What is filial piety and brotherly elderly elderly elderly elderly elderly elderly elderly elderly elderly elderly elderly elderly elderly elderly elderly elderly elderly elderly elderly elderly elderly elderly elderly elderly elderly elderly elderly elderly elderly elderly elderly elderly elderly elderly elderly elderly elderly elderly elderly elderly elderly elderly elderly elderly elderly elderly elderly elderly elderly elderly elderly elderly elderly elderly elderly elderly elderly elderly elderly elderly elderly elderly elderly elderly elderly elderly elderly elderly elderly elderly elderly elderly elderly elderly elderly elderly elderly elderly elderly elderly elderly elderly elderly elderly elderly elderly elderly elderly elderly elderly elderly elderly elderly elderly elderly elderly elder
"What the wise men said is indeed reasonable." Fang Xin heard this, smiled indifferently, and did not debate.
This is the concretization of etiquette, etiquette means order. In a huge empire with underdeveloped transportation and communication, there is no way to rule the grassroots.
It is inevitable that the king will not go to the county. Before the productivity is broken, no organizational system will help.
In my previous life, a party had encircled cities in the countryside. Even if it was not greedy for heaven, it was also due to breakthroughs in basic transportation and communication. If this was not the case, it would be Zhao Kuo's law or an evolutionary version of Qin law.
If we ruled to the township level, there was only Qin law in ancient history. Why Qin law in previous dynasties was despised by the world is not only the reason for its cruelty, but it cannot be extended at all.
In the early days of Qin, the area was only about 300,000 square kilometers before the Qin Dynasty could rule. However, when Qin State unifies the world, the total area was only 3.5 million square kilometers, but this system could no longer be maintained.
If such a huge empire is not subject to feudal system, it is impossible to maintain it by top-down laws alone. Only rules that are automatically maintained by the smallest unit (family) can be achieved.
The so-called filial piety refers to being filial and obedient to parents.
The so-called siblings refer to respecting and obedience to brothers.
These two points maintained the basic order of the entire huge empire. Therefore, Confucius attached great importance to filial piety and brotherhood as the foundation for implementing "benevolence", and proposed that "no change to the father's way for three years." Mencius also regarded filial piety and brotherhood as the basic moral norm. The "Book of Filial Piety" in the Qin and Han Dynasties further proposed: "Filial piety is the first of all actions."
Since ancient times, the law of humanity has been known to Confucianism. To be fair, the doctrine of the Monotheistic religion also played the same role, but the difference is the debate between inside and outside.
The so-called internal and external factors are the maintenance of the doctrine of the Monotheistic religion, not within the family and the individual (this function was obtained only by faith and justification in the future), but external factors of pastors and priests. This undoubtedly created a huge faith-control organization and the Holy See above all nations.
Even if we do not look at consumption alone, we know that the Holy See and the Church have occupied 30% of the society’s wealth while achieving social stability. This cost is very high.
The key to Confucian scholars, in Fang Xin's view, is the maintenance force of spontaneous and automaticity - every family must maintain basic order, every father and grandfather who masters the family and economy, and the heirs of each family like and maintain "filial piety and brotherhood" very much - maintaining filial piety and brotherhood is equivalent to safeguarding one's own interests, safeguarding one's own interests is equivalent to maintaining family stability, and maintaining family stability is equivalent to maintaining the order of the empire.
This is the best, most labor-saving and economical way for the society in the agricultural era, especially the huge empire that cannot be directly controlled. "The world is not born to Zhong Ni, and it is like a long night." This sentence is a bit exaggerated, but if it is just "forever", it will be like this again!
Therefore, those who value filial piety and brotherhood throughout the ages have all been those who understand the truth deeply.
In later generations, this kind of maintaining order gradually became rigid, and strict ethics and murders were produced. When productivity breakthroughs, it was important to emphasize that some people were liberated from their families, clans, and land to devote themselves to the new industry and commerce, and this rigidity became an obstacle.
A heavy benevolence may hurt etiquette, but a heavy benevolence will hurt benevolence - the method of a saint moves with the world, which is actually the only way to go.
Unfortunately, when the great changes in the past three thousand years on earth, countless people did not understand this point, completely abandoning their own order and introducing foreign order, so that in the past thirty years, there were no foundation to follow. There were thousands of sons of China who worshipped the gods of the barbarians and followed the ten precepts, or great love. From this point of view, it was a sin.
The sage's law moves with the world, and there is no attachment to the mind, so the sage has no self.
Of course, Fang Xin will not say that filial piety, brotherhood, or even loyalty and forgiveness is not in this era and this world. As mentioned at this time, this is not merit, it is a great sin.
After understanding this principle and speaking casually, Zhang Zhuo naturally praised it. He praised it from time to time and valued it more and more.
Before he knew it, it was already afternoon. Fang Xin saw that although he was very excited, he was already old, so he stopped talking and left.
Not only did he find Xia Yubing and further understand humanity, Fang Xin was in a good mood, with a smile on his face, and realized that a foot of white light on his body was clearer, and the world bead on his top was condensed half a minute.
People in the world say that the heart is just mediocre.
What is the Tao heart? It is the Tao of all ages. Only in this way can it be eternal and move with the world. From this point of view, the so-called Tao heart is confused by the seven emotions and six desires, not the ultimate, not the truth - those who can be confused are not the Tao heart!
"I have passed the information over and awakened the three-life method. I have some experience, but I haven't done it before, so let the empire take her back by itself. I guess they have their own methods." Riding on the donkey and walking on the street, Fang Xin thought: "As for whether to take the scholar or not, it doesn't matter. If you pass the exam, it's easier to move around and contact higher people in this world. If you don't pass the exam, can this vast world really restrict me?"
In the summer, the afternoon sun was hot, and everyone avoided it. Walking under the eaves, everyone was sweating profusely. Fang Xin walked alone under the sun, and the sunlight was light, in his eyes, like a sea of photons, falling on his body, slowly absorbing it, and there was no sweat on his body.
He rode a donkey and looked at the new supervisors, but he didn't know anything.
You, I know, what can I discuss?
It was this time when I rode a donkey that I could think deeply about humanity.
The transformations on the earth in the past life will not be ignored.
The main world of this world has actually taken the path of vassal states and colonies.
Civilization flourished since the Tang Dynasty, and it expanded and colonized the outside world. The improvement and reform of Taoism and Confucianism increased the cohesion of China and the massive invasion of Asia and even Europe caused a large number of Chinese-dominant areas outside the traditional Chinese scope.
Due to the limits of technology and transportation, the central government of the empire could not directly control the sinicized areas that were far away from thousands of miles away, and had to establish nobles and vassal states.
This laid the foundation for the situation where all flowers bloom and hundreds of schools of thought contend, and created a powerful aristocratic and merchant class (the distant areas had to take business as the way). When the time was ripe, the luck would bring about the stars and the battles, the constitutional monarchy, democratic ideas, and the aristocratic parliament, which was born.
This has proven to be an effective path, but in Fang Xin's eyes, he still feels a little regretful - this is a half-middle and half-western road.
And now there is no Southeast Asia or Europe to colonize in this world. Can China itself be reborn?
How can we make the Han civilization shine for thousands of years and be able to regenerate and evolve by ourselves?
There is no answer to the previous thousand years of historical knowledge on the earth.
This civilization in the main world can only be partly referenced. I believe that even if there are countless time travelers, if this problem is not solved, they will still be in the vast darkness and do not know where the road is.
"Crossing the river by feeling the stones" is also a good strategy, but it is a last resort, not the best strategy.
On the earth, there are Song and Ming-speaking Cabinets, all of which are driven by thousands of aspiring people and the great forces behind history, but none of them have failed.
The Song Dynasty was the first in the world in terms of economy and trade, which was no worse than during the British Industrial Revolution.
Feudal civilization and Confucianism had developed to its peak, and during the Ming Dynasty, there was even more cabinet politics.
After Zhu Yuanzhang and Zhu Di and other founding kings (Zhu Di also counted to some extent), in fact, the scholar class had already reached a consensus at that time and had long been mature. They no longer needed a wise monarch, but only a monarch with a plain personality as a representative of destiny.
Frankly speaking, the emperor is better to have no opinion, so it is more sufficient to represent the destiny of heaven. In the history of the Ming Dynasty, the ninth Emperor Hongzhi was humble and gentle, and at the mercy of the civil officials, the civil officials praised him as a wise ruler, with many famous ministers emerging, and the court was able to revive.
The twelfth emperor, Emperor Longqing, also had this characteristic, so the wise ministers came out and were full of talents. The literature included Xu Jie, Zhang Juzheng, Gao Gong, Yang Bo, and the martial arts included Tan Lun, Qi Jiguang, and Li Chengliang.
Such an emperor is no longer a dealer of state affairs, but an authoritative symbol of handling state affairs. Civil officials who have developed to the mature stage have formed a powerful force that forces the emperor to be controlled by court officials.
Later, Emperor Wanli was also a wise king, and he had to be discouraged and not attend court to show his long-term slacking off work and engage in negative confrontation.
This is not a good thing for the king personally, but for history, it is only one step away from constitutional monarchy.
On the contrary, Emperor Chongzhen did everything himself and worked diligently, which offended the entire scholar class. In addition, the collapse of the imperial economy and finances allowed the Ming Dynasty to perish - I am not a king who destroyed the country, but a minister who destroyed the country. This statement is not wrong, but the scholar class who moved the world and developed to a mature stage no longer needs the emperor to rule.
Song had mature economy and politics, but lost it to martial arts
There is a mature military and political situation, but it loses money
However, the Qing Dynasty not only engaged in literary inquisitions, destroyed the intellectual class that developed to a mature stage and was on the verge of constitutional monarchy, and also destroyed the economic system of the Song Dynasty that took the wealth of all nations.
How sad is this?
The Holy Emperor ruled with his pride - this is constitutional monarchy and the highest ideal of the scholars and officials.
Unfortunately, Confucianism itself also has problems. The problem of Confucianism does not lie in changes at all. In fact, Confucianism's original intention is already very close to humanity.
Confucianism is not unchanged at all. Confucius founded Confucianism in the Spring and Autumn Period, Mencius and Xunzi inherited and developed Confucianism in the Warring States Period, and reforms were carried out in the Western Han Dynasty since Dong Zhongshu's theory of heaven and man's response, and "abolishing all schools of thought and respecting Confucianism alone".
During the Wei, Jin, Southern and Northern Dynasties, Confucianism absorbed the Tao and Buddhism and carried out a revitalization movement. In the Tang and Song Dynasties, Zhou Dunyi, Zhang Zai, Shao Yong, Cheng Hao, Cheng Yi, Zhu Xi and others established and improved Neo-Confucianism.
Then in the Ming Dynasty, Wang Yangming founded the Yangming School, the master of the great master of the study of mind.
It can be said that Confucianism is innovating from generation to generation, but unfortunately, it does not focus on the word "profit".
This is the fundamental flaw of Confucianism. Because of this flaw, no matter how it is studied, it is limited to the "human heart and dominant academic" of each era, and it does not help fundamentally promote social progress. Wang Yangming has proposed to break the thief in the mountains, and some of them involve the material level, but it is still a shortcut and has not made any breakthroughs in promoting the material society.
Therefore, most of the existing achievements are limited to agricultural societies suitable for their survival. Once they surpass the agricultural societies, they will lose the golden soil for survival.
One yin and one yang, one nature and one life, one inside and one outside, one thing and one heart, is the way of heaven!
Confucianism only uses his heart and no matter things, only uses nature and no life, only uses yin and no yang, only uses the inside and no outside, so it is not authentic to human nature.
Confucius and Mencius were founded by benevolence and etiquette.
Dong Zhongshu spoke out the principle of the response of heaven and man.
The mind, nature, meaning and reason are not expensive, but one qi is hidden in the way.
Yangming studies are the essence of the mind study, but only the vagina, not the way of matter in all things. In fact, when it develops to this point, the system can be self-consistent. This self-consistent is the Yang path in one qi - the study of the material society of all things, and you can start with "benefit"!
Of course, one yin and one yang are no longer entirely Confucianism, but are good at humanity and looking up at the way of heaven, which is connected with traditional Taoism.
The heaven and earth transform into one qi, and it is yin and yang in the world. Yin and yang are the heart and things!
Being good with the heart, the so-called nature and reason, and the Tao are combined
Benefit from things, so-called profit and reason, and be distinguished from the Tao
Fang Xin never artificially planned the so-called unity of the three religions and five religions, but only used his way to know people and people as human beings, and he could see the way of heaven. The so-called different paths and the same ends, but he never had the idea of a combination of religion.
Understand this, the energy is so clear and clear. The light in the world pearl is like a source, and the inside and outside is refreshing. Just as there is no one around, I take out the Xiao and blow it in the street. The clear sound is like a dragon's roar, and you can hear it within ten miles.
Life seems to be like the first sight, so the way is clear and there is nothing left in sight.
It is time to make great achievements, but the so-called "Sixth-level" hope of practicing Taoism is already visible, and you can only take a step forward.
