Chapter 22 The Lady's Secret
Ailang thought it was a soup, which made him enjoy the appetite before the meal. Without thinking, he picked it up and took a sip. However, his mouth was extremely bitter, and his face changed drastically. He couldn't help but squirt out and shouted, "What's this thing so bitter?"
Mrs. Lu Bu hurriedly said, "This is a medicine soup specially prepared for my husband. It is good for you! Husband should not be wasted, drink it quickly!"
Ailang felt very depressed and muttered: "Why should I take medicine if I am in good health?"
Mrs. Lu Bu's cheeks turned red, but she did not explain, but urged Ailang to drink the medicine soon. Ailang did not dare to disobey Mrs. Lu Bu's words, and barely squeezed a bowl of bitter and fishy medicine soup and forced it down. After he finished breathing, he looked very painful. As soon as the bowl of medicine soup was penetrated, Ailang felt as if a ball of flame was burning in his lower abdomen, and sweat beads immediately overflowed on his forehead. He said in surprise: "What medicine is this? As soon as I drink it, I feel hot all over my body!"
Mrs. Lu Bu hurriedly asked the maids to serve the delicious wine and delicacies. Ailang was just feeling strange and uncomfortable in his mouth. When he saw the wine and food coming, he immediately poured a large glass of wine and drank it first. He felt that his mouth was much more comfortable, so he picked up a roast lamb leg and bit it.
In the middle of the night that day, Ailanger woke up and found that his body was covered in sweat and his body was so wet and hot! He quickly jumped out of bed and ran to the bathroom to take a bath. He soaked in clean water, and only felt the heat on his body quickly subsided, and the cool feeling spread. The comfort was really unexpressible in words!
Ailang couldn't help but wonder why he had been so hot that he woke up from sweating all over. Then he thought of the extremely unpleasant medicine soup that Mrs. Lu Bu insisted on him to drink before supper, and couldn't help but mutter: "What is that thing? Why did my wife have to drink it?" I couldn't figure it out, and I couldn't help but be very curious. Ailang naturally wouldn't think that his wife would harm her, but just wanted to figure out what weirdness she was doing.
The next morning, before breakfast, Mrs. Lu Bu coaxed Ailang to drink a bowl of that kind of unpalatable medicine soup. After breakfast, Ailang deliberately said that he had gone to the military camp, but in fact he was waiting in the alley near the mansion. Sure enough, not long after, his wife came out with her close maid and walked towards the north side of the street. Both of the master maids were wearing casual clothes, just like the ladies and ladies of a wealthy family. Ailang quickly followed from a distance. Not long after, he saw them walking into a medicine shop called Tongchuntang, and soon came out and returned to the mansion.
Ailang hurried into the pharmacy shop, and the old doctor in the shop immediately came up, smiled and clasped his fists and said, "Is this hero uncomfortable?"
Ailang grabbed the old doctor's collar and put on a fierce expression to stare at him. The old doctor was frightened when he saw Ailang's fierce look and asked stammeringly: "What is the hero doing? Is he offended the hero?"
Ailang asked, "Did the lady I just came to you to buy medicine?"
The old doctor dared not hide it, so he nodded quickly.
"What medicine did she buy?"
The old doctor looked hesitant and asked, "Who is the hero? Why should I inquire about this kind of thing?"
Ailang glared and said, "I am his man, shouldn't you ask?"
