117. Budapest

The next morning, the old man explained some things to William. There are four days left on the Christmas holiday, and William needs to find Lucian within these four days. After breakfast, William said goodbye to the old man, Bill and Avi. Avi seemed very dissatisfied and said nothing about it. He scolded and complained with the old man. Bill quietly said to William.

"Avi will be fine in two days, you should pay more attention to safety."[]

William nodded and hugged avi apologetically. Avi felt sorry for his son and told William to be careful. William comforted him for a few words and left, and he was also reluctant to leave.

William Phantom appeared to the headquarters of the German Black Magic Society, from which he came to Budapest, Hungary through the door key, where the Hungarian branch of the Black Magic Society was located. This city was originally two cities far away, and later expanded for centuries, and was merged in 1873 by the merger of the cities Buda and Gubuda on the right bank of the Danube and the city of Pace on the left bank. There are many hot springs here.

William showed his ID, and after a while, a familiar and ecstatic person came to greet William. William went up and punched him, then pulled him up from the ground. This person was Irving. Irving was not angry. They had not seen each other for more than half a year, and Irving felt more mature.

"I don't tell me if I have joined the school." William patted Irving's shoulders, and the two walked out with their arms around each other.

"Let's go out for a walk," Owen said, picking up his coat from the hanger. The winter in Budapest is very warm, and they both wear leather jackets, both of which are designed by AV.

What surprised William was that they walked to the parking lot, Irving took out a car key, swayed in front of William, and then walked towards a red Bentley sports car. William sat on it.

"I didn't expect you to learn how to drive."

"It's time to learn more on Muggle territory," said Irving, as he had already started Bentley, and he put away the tent on it.

Irving first took William around, and on the east bank of the Danube, that is, the gentle Pace, the Parliament Building, the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, several hotels, Pace Ballrooms, and continue to the south by the State Opera and the Palace of Art. What connects Buda and Pace is the chain bridge. This bridge is like the Tower Bridge in London, becoming the icon of Budapest. William and Irving stopped at a cafe next to Heroes Square. This is an Espriso-style coffee house, and the interior of the cafe is decorated in a modern and simple style. William and Irving, the friends, began to reminisce about the past.

"After you left, Nibrongen has lost a lot of things," said Owen. "Donnibrongen is very dull in the past six months."

"How is Spears?" William asked

"She's very good, she's mentioned you from time to time." Owen said with a smile. "Where is your Hermione?"

"I don't know, I don't have any impression of her," William said distressedly.

"How is this possible? When you were in Nebrongen, you told me that you would be with this girl for the rest of your life." Owen said strangely

"All memories of her have disappeared, I think I might have asked someone to use the forgetting curse on me," William said, looking at Owen's green eyes.

"You're crazy! This isn't a joke," said Owen. "How could you choose such an extreme method?"

"I don't know, it must be something happened, but I can't remember it," William said with a shrugged.

"If you guessed it's right, it's probably a forgetting spell cast by someone you trust very much. There are not many such people, right?" Owen asked.

"Indeed, I did think of such a person." William said with a smile. His best friend knew him very well.

"Then you go and ask this person, don't you know?" Irving continued

"If it's the past, I want me to forget"

"Then you must have your own reasons." Owen took it and said, "You are so bored." Owen frowned, and then the coffee came up. William poured fresh milk into the coffee.

"Ha, I'll take your words as praise," William said with a smile

"Then are you going to end it like this?"

"Let's take a step by step, there are too many variables in the future," William said. "Tell me about Lucian's situation."

"Okay" Owen put down the coffee in his hand. "We have discovered his whereabouts, but he stayed in one place for no more than three days." Owen said and took out a photo "This is Lucian."

The photo shows a man with an angry face, with long hair, green eyes, dark circles, and wearing a large black windbreaker.

"I actually expect Lucian to look better," William raised his head and said, "Where is he now?"

"The last time our people saw him in the Hungarian plain east of the Danube"

"When was that?" William asked

"A day ago" Owen made a gesture to check out, and he knew what William would do next

"We should leave now, we have about one day left," said William. Irving just said that Lucian has never lived in one place for more than three days.
