Chapter Thirteen: The University Is Complete

The estimation after the college entrance examination is to refer to the standard answers to roughly estimate their own scores.

This kind of estimation has a relatively high accuracy in science subjects, but the liberal arts subjects are slightly worse. For science students like Li Mu and others, the biggest deviation in estimation is Chinese, followed by English.

There are no standard answers for Chinese reading comprehension and composition, so it is difficult to estimate. Most English is multiple-choice questions, and estimating scores is relatively easy. The deviation usually occurs on the composition questions. However, the composition has a total of 25 points, so the deviation will not be too large.

Li Mu didn't need to estimate the scores in Chinese, mathematics and science. He didn't remember how he answered the questions back then, but he knew that he had scored 486 points in total, so he stayed up for a whole morning and completely ignored the explanations of other teachers, just waiting for the final English test to estimate the scores.

At eleven o'clock, the English teacher stepped in and rushed to the correct answer with everyone.

He never forgot any of the questions and choices he had answered during the English exam that day, so after the English teacher began to announce the correct answer, he began to check it seriously in his heart.

The further he went, the more excited Li Mu became.

Listening questions, all correct!

Single choice questions, all correct!

Clothing the blanks, reading comprehension and short article corrections are all correct!

In other words, if it is not counted as composition, Li Mu's English score has already been recorded with 125 points! This perfect score even shocked Li Mu himself.

He didn't dare to be too optimistic before, and he probably could get between 120 and 130 points, but now it seems that he can get 140 points in English at the most!

My own composition has at least brought out the official slogans of the same world and the same dream in the future, and these 25-point questions can be scored 15 points anyway!

Excited, Li Mu did a simple arithmetic problem.

486+140=626 points.

What does 626 mean? Judging from the score lines of South Jiangsu Province over the years, 626 points are a key university, and you can pass the filing line of any university. However, if you want to go to a top-notch school like Yan University, Tsinghua University, Fudan University, and Renmin University, it is still a bit unstoppable.

However, Li Mu had an extremely important information in his mind. In the college entrance examination, when students generally performed poorly in English, their scores were the lowest in previous years. In addition, students were cautious when applying for applications, so the number of people who really top-notch and paid attention to the application was the lowest in previous years.

Li Mu didn’t know what happened to Tsinghua University this year, but in his previous life, he had special attention to Renmin University because he knew that Su Yingxue had always wanted to go to Renmin University.

This year, the science admission score of the National People's Congress in this province is lower than in previous years, at 615 points. Moreover, since candidates are very cautious in filling out their application applications this year, the National People's Congress will definitely be admitted as long as they pass the score line.

I can get a minimum of 626 points, so it is absolutely fine to apply to Renmin University. Since that's the case, I might as well apply to Renmin University. It just so happens that I am inclined to be a university in Yanjing.

Su Yingxue attended the School of Economics of Renmin University and majored in economics. This major is one of the popular majors of Renmin University. Li Mu's score may not be selected as a popular major, but it doesn't matter. As long as he obeys the professional adjustment, Renmin University will always have a major to admit himself.

For Li Mu, a super bug full of shocking gold fingers, the least important thing is what major to study. Even if he lets himself study philosophy, Li Mu has no objection.

After making up his mind, Li Mu decided in his heart that he would apply to Economics at Renmin University for the first choice, and maybe he would lose his fortune with Su Yingxue in the same department. The second department was finance, international law and social psychology. At that time, he would just choose to obey the major adjustment.

The whole class thought that Li Mu wanted to apply for the National People's Congress was just a joke, but no one knew that he had already made a decision at the moment the English score was over.

After the score was over, everyone had several days to consider their choices. The students began to whisper and ask each other about their willingness to fill out the application.

Class leader Lu Gengyu walked onto the podium and said loudly: "Students, since we are going to come to the school to submit our volunteer next Monday afternoon, let's just hold a class reunion on Monday night and treat it as a part of our class. What do you think?"

A group of senior high school students, Danzi, had never left Haizhou to live in another place, so she had never held any class reunions. However, when she thought that everyone would go their separate ways soon, many of the students immediately agreed warmly.

In fact, the farewell sentiment of senior high school started two months ago. Everyone bought all kinds of classmate records and asked other classmates to write some blessings for themselves. However, Li Mu did not catch up after being reborn.

The tension of the college entrance examination made more than 50 people in the class briefly forget the upcoming farewell, but as soon as the class monitor said "Disaster Feast" was released, the sadness of farewell among the boys instantly gushed out like an open gate.

Some girls have hugged their friends and cried silently. When boys think that they are about to go their separate ways, their eyes cannot help but turn red. Only Li Mu, who is in his thirties, has experienced too many separations. He does not feel the sadness of high school graduation.

On the contrary, he was already a little impatient about the upcoming university life, because for him, only when he arrived in Yanjing was the beginning of his true ambitions.

At this time, the squad leader proposed that each person have a joint venture of 50 yuan, eat and sing one-stop, and then the more they get paid, and no one has any objections. Then the squad leader began to count the names of people willing to attend the party. By the time Li Mu, almost forty people in the class had signed their names on the list.

Li Mu took the list and looked at it. Seeing that Su Yingxue had also written down his name, he immediately waved his pen and signed and agreed.

Then Li Mu hurriedly left the school with his volunteer application form. His parents were working, so he didn't go home at all. He just made two consecutive calls to the switchboard of Xiling Coal Mine at the telephone booth at the school gate, one answered the finance department where his mother worked, and the other answered the measurement team where his father worked.

On the phone, Li Mu told his parents about his rating in a plain tone.

Between 626 and 630, Li Mu was not sure about the full score of English composition test, so he was a little cautious. Objectively speaking, his theoretical maximum score was 150 in English and a total score of 636, and the chance was not slim. It depends on whether the teacher who approved the composition during the marking paper had an advanced sense of the times.

However, even this cautious estimation completely shocked his parents. Li Mu never passed the 600 score in many simulations in the senior year of high school. This score was something they dared not even dream of.

My parents asked me repeatedly on the phone if I was joking. When Li Mu said that he was 90% sure, my mother was crying with joy on the phone. My father was silent for a while and only said: "Go home to have dinner tonight, let's have two drinks."

Li Mu didn't think this test score was too shocking, but he felt his parents' excitement, and he was also filled with emotion.

If I really get into Renmin University, it will not only change my life, but also give my parents a joy that lasts for several years.

In the next four years, no matter what they are doing, as long as they think that their son is studying in the top five key universities in China, they are afraid they will laugh out loud.

After paying the phone bill, Li Mu walked out of the phone booth and bought a bottle of iced Coke from the cold drink stall at the door.

The scorching sun at noon makes people unable to open their eyes. A cold mouthful of coke is refreshing. In high school, when I was in this time, it should be the happiest thing to be able to buy a bottle of iced drink and sit in an air-conditioned Internet cafe with ten dollars in my pocket and sit for an afternoon in an afternoon.

Li Mu smiled and shook his head. Now he is far from satisfying Coke and Internet cafes.

Many students around him had already started walking out, but Li Mu stood motionless at the gate of his alma mater and looked around carefully.

Everything around here is still so familiar. The stationery store called Chenguang, the small restaurant called Sanyuan Fried Vegetable, the little piano store that only makes noise every day, everything is the same as in the previous life, without any change, but I have begun to change the trajectory of my life, and the university matters are done! In the next two months, the rest of my work will be to make money!

Make money, the overlord of the stone tools!
