Chapter 1. Levi's Crusoe
The sun shines brightly.
A small boat floated on a deep blue sea, and a person lying in the narrow boat, covered with cloth on his face, curled up as much as possible to reduce the area under sunlight.
This person is Li Wei.
He originally thought that he would be able to escape danger by boarding a steamer and find a chance to return to New York in the future, but he did not expect that the ship would encounter a storm when it left the sea. What's even more unfortunate is that the ship sank late at night, and only two lifeboats were put down. Those who could escape had to face the violent sea. In a blink of an eye, he was the only one left.
There was no way to obtain food and drinking water on the sea, and he only relied on a little accumulated precipitation for two days.
If there is no land, he can only die in despair on the sea. The system cannot make him eat and drink. There is no door here to let him enter the great blessing. Even if he has the ability to have a lot of kung fu and high-level professionalism, he will not survive.
Li Wei didn't know where he was, how long he had been drifting, and how far he was from the shore. He couldn't see any hope. All he could do was save energy and look forward to the miracle.
Just as he was deeply numb, the cry of seagulls suddenly came from afar, hovering from far away and circling in the blue sky.
"I'm hallucinating?"
Levi suddenly pulled open the cloth covering his face, opened his blurry eyes, and quickly caught the birds in the sky. He might not care too much about these creatures, but now it seems that it is simply too cute.
Where there are seagulls, it means that it is very close to the land. No matter how bad it is, it will be a small island!
He got up from the boat and looked into the distance. Sure enough, he found traces of rocks in front of him, and there were more seagulls hovering not far away!
It's saved!
Li Wei was immediately excited. At this moment, his luck seemed to start to bottom out. Not only did he see the land, but the wind direction was also very favorable!
He grabbed the wooden pulp and sat in the boat and kept rowing, hoping to reach the land sooner.
But it took nearly a day to reach this distance that could be seen by the naked eye.
As dusk approached, the exhausted Li Wei swayed the sea water and finally set foot on the land he had dreamed of.
When his feet stepped on the soft fine sand, the feeling of surviving the disaster made him kneel on the beach all at once.
He was saved for a moment, and he was worried about his next livelihood. He had been hungry for two days and had to drink a little water, so he was weak all over.
It requires food, drinking water, and a safe resting environment.
Li Wei took all over his body and only found some soaked Anle from his pocket. The amount was not large, only seventy or eighty, but these things were useless to him, and it was impossible to buy things here.
During the day, the temperature on the sea surface could be close to thirty degrees, and at night there were only a dozen degrees left. Li Wei breathed evenly. He wanted to prepare for the next fire. I hope the knowledge I had watched on video websites before was still useful.
While the sky was not completely dark, Li Wei walked towards the weathered rock wall, hoping to find the seagull's nest and perhaps get food.
He had just walked to the shade below the rock wall, and suddenly, seven or eight people emerged from the rock formation. Each of his skin was dark, but it was not like the black ones he had seen, with a brownish color.
"Damn!"
The sudden appearance of these people scared Li Wei. He subconsciously wanted to draw his sword from the equipment railing, but the next second, he was shocked to find that the other party was holding a rifle in his hand and pointing the muzzle at him. Someone ordered him to kneel on the ground immediately with his hands in a broken Anken language.
Li Wei was whizzing past ten thousand alpacas in his heart. He didn't know that there were people here, and these people also had guns. Not only did they have guns, but the clothes they wore seemed to have a strong Anken style, because he had met Anken soldiers in New York.
Could it be Anken's colony overseas?
Or Pirates?
No matter which one, Li Wei feels that his future is bleak. The former may encounter a warlord, while the latter may be shot directly by the other party.
He is tired and hungry now, and is powerless. He has 80% of the cost of 10 yuan, and the remaining 20% is not worth mentioning.
According to the other party's words, kneeled on the beach and hugged his head with both hands.
A hero will not suffer any loss in front of him.
It is easy to deal with if the other party can speak peacefully. As long as he can get some rest time, he will always have a chance to make a comeback.
Soon, the seven or eight people ran down from the rock formation, pointed the gun at Li Wei, and separated two people to control him, and tied his hands behind him with a rope.
Levi shouted in Anken language: "Who are you? I am a citizen of the Anken Federation, and I demand fair treatment!"
"I know you are an Anken citizen," the leader searched all Anken from Levi, "Welcome to Organ Island, we are the militias on Organ Island, my name is Giroud, this is your...hell!"
He raised his rifle and smashed it hard at Levi's side face with the buttstock. Levi blocked it with his shoulder and failed.
The militia in Organ Island named Giroud did not pursue it, but just sneered: "Tough guy style? I like it, I hope you don't cry the pear blossoms that bring rain away!"
...
On the other side of the Organ Island, a base built deep in the rainforest was built. As the sky dimmed, torches were lit around, barely dispelling the darkness.
In front of a two-story wooden building in the middle of the base, a girl dressed in a ragged linen dress was holding a wooden basin and climbing up the stairs in a hurry. She came to the door of the first room on the second floor, knocked on the door rhythmically, and asked, "Sir Helen, can I come in?"
"Can."
A slightly hoarse female voice came from the wooden door. The girl did not dare to stop and quickly pushed the door in. Under the dim oil lamp, a young woman with dark brown skin moved her eyes away from the book and turned to the door.
Helen frowned slightly and said, "I said, don't use the title of sir."
"Yes, yes, Miss Helen." The girl put down the wooden tub timidly.
Seeing that she refused to leave, Helen asked, "What else?"
The girl secretly looked at Helen, plucked up the courage, and said, "Do you want to kill those Anken soldiers again today?"
Helen shook her head and said calmly: "I only kill people who should be killed, and all people who should not be killed are alive. Aren't you?"
"But, but..."
"go out."
The girl's tone stopped, lowered her head, and exited the room humbly, and closed the door when she walked to the door.
But she did not leave immediately, as if she had remembered something, and said at the door: "Miss Helen, please don't read books under such dark lights, your eyes will be myopic."
There was no response in the room.
The girl turned around and left in disappointment. When she walked down the wooden stairs, she happened to see the militia who were patrolling back with a prisoner.
Although it was far away and the light was very dark, she looked at it from afar and couldn't help but exclaim.
"It's you?!"
