Chapter 7 A blessing in disguise

Hu Qingpeng saw the two strange men facing each other solemnly, and his amazing momentum was radiating from afar, so he quickly went away. If he remembered correctly, Uncle Mo had said that the martial arts of these two were enough to be comparable to those of the master, which was many times higher than that of him. If they overflowed when fighting, how could they resist with their pitiful internal strength? Anyway, it was just an arbitration, and when they were exhausted and safe and harmless, they would get close to judge.

Mingxin and Tianfa have been together for twenty years. During this period, they fought nineteen times, and they were completely overturned. They all understand each other's martial arts characteristics and personalities thoroughly. It can be said that there is almost no secret. In a few days, both of them will leave their posts and give up the title of Dharma Protector. If there were still some backup moves in the past duel and looking forward to defeating each other again in the next year, then this time, they must do their best. No matter who it is, as long as they learn martial arts, they will inevitably have the courage to win, and even monks are no exception.

There was no need to say anything nonsense between the two. Suddenly, their bodies swayed at the same time. Before Hu Qingpeng could see clearly, there was a loud bang in the waves, and the two fists and palms collided, and they were about to part with one touch. Their feet touched the ground and immediately rushed towards each other like lightning. The sound of the powerful air bursting when the fists and feet intersected seemed to ignite a series of firecrackers.

Hu Qingpeng saw two figures leaping in the clouds and mists, and his body speed was incredible. With his eyesight, he could not tell who attacked and defended. During the fierce battle, there were occasional after waves of fist wind and palms. Even though he was still powerful after several meters, he had to blow him down to the top of the mountain several times. Hu Qingpeng simply lay on the ground with all his limbs and honestly grabbed the rocks protruding on the top of the peak, so as not to finish his arbitration before it even took effect.

Master Mingxin and Taoist Master Tianfa each had their own martial arts skills. When they fought to the extreme, Master Mingxin let out a thunderous roar, while Taoist Master Tianfa fought with a long roar. The two of them accidentally hit the ground, and the stones were like rain and strong winds were blowing.

Hu Qingpeng heard the roars of the two, and his mind was almost cracked. He quickly tore the fabric on his sleeves and tightly stuffed his ears. The sounds made by the two echoed among the mountains, as if the roar of lions and dragons, silenced all beasts and flew away. The tourists and people in the mountains heard this strange sound, because it was a strange sign of the appearance of the god of Yue, and they burned incense and worshiped them, which became a local custom in the future.

Suddenly, lightning flew up in the clouds and mist, like silver waves rolling, mercury pouring down the ground, and dazzling sword lights radiating everywhere, as if weaving a huge sword net. Hu Qingpeng knew that Master Tianfa's sword was finally unsheathed! But Master Mingxin was not willing to be outdone. He took off the string of beads hanging on his neck, danced a ball of black light, and hit the opponent's weapon. His beads were Buddhist magic weapons, and he was not afraid of the enemy's sword cutting, and he was not at all inferior.

Once the two use weapons, the degree of danger is ten times higher than before. If any side is not careful, the end of blood splashing for five steps. A sword moves lightly and sharply, and sometimes it flies like a crane, hovering to attack the opponent, sometimes it inspires the sword energy, and shoots angrily from the air. The other is simple and solemn, with a clever and clever rosary in his hand as dense as a shield, and every attack is as heavy as a thousand equals. Hu Qingpeng's martial arts cultivation is still shallow, and he cannot tell who is better or worse. He only knows that these two people are flying around and around for a while.

The two of them had fought fiercely for a few rosary beads suddenly flew over. At almost the same time, a Qinghong sword shot straight into the sky, drew a graceful arc, and landed half a foot in front of Hu Qingpeng. The sword was extremely sharp and inserted into the stone. Hu Qingpeng was shocked by the great force and looked at it desperately. He saw Master Mingxin and Taoist Master Tianfa faced each other with four palms, half squatted on the ground, staring at the big eyes, and actually discarded the weapons at the same time, and adopted the method of internal force duel to decide victory or defeat.

Hu Qingpeng was shocked. Internal strength duel is the most dangerous way of all martial arts competitions. It compares who has deeper internal strength and longer true energy. The failed side will either break the meridians on the spot, vomit blood and die, or lose all internal strength, and it will be like a useless person from now on. If the skill of fist, palm and weapon is not as good as that of humans, and if they have a hard work for a few years, they will have a chance to take revenge, but if the internal strength competition is lost, it will be difficult to have a chance to equalize in this life. Unless there is a deep hatred for the sea of blood, generally speaking, the higher the martial arts skills, the more cautious the competition of internal strength, because a mistake will lead to eternal hatred. Unless these two monks are so persistent about the victory or defeat, and finally fight with their lives.

Hu Qingpeng took off the cloth that stuffed his ears, got up tremblingly, and walked forward to check the situation of the two seniors. At this moment, the top of the peak changed from extreme movement to extreme quiet, but the mountain wind was howling, and the strange sense of oppression became even stronger.

Hu Qingpeng was shocked by the two strange people on the top platform. He was shocked. He could not catch up with such profound internal skills! However, the deeper their internal skills, the higher the degree of risk of the competition. People with insufficient internal strength will not be able to intervene. Hu Qingpeng heard the elders of the masters talk about the taboo rules and precautions in the competition, and knew that he did not have the ability to resolve the battle situation between the two top masters, but after all, he had seen the internal strength competition between masters for the first time in his life, and was quite curious.

About ten feet away, he was separated by an invisible air wall and could no longer move forward. Master Mingxin and Taoist Master Tianfa put his palms against his palms, and a straight white air column rose above each of his head. His clothes were swollen, his eyes widened, and he was trying his best to attack his opponent. The two seemed calm on the surface, but in fact, the fierce fighting between the internal forces seemed to be emptying, the roaring wind was circling, and it seemed like thousands of troops were fighting in a tangled battle.

The two of them stared at each other motionlessly. Hu Qingpeng looked at each other for a while and felt bored. The two were equal and neither could suppress each other. God knows when they would fight! He walked to the edge of the platform and looked down. The cliff was as sharp as a grain of 100 feet deep. Unless he had wings like a bird, he would not be able to fly down the top of the peak. He was shocked and suddenly shouted "Oh no!" and turned around and ran to the two sides, crying and said with a sad face: "Master Mingxin, Master Tianfa, I beg you not to play anymore. Can you? If you fight and both sides are injured and I can't go down the mountain, wouldn't you starve to death? Since you ask me to be an arbitration, I will rule that you are equal, and you are all winners, okay?"

Mingxin, Tianfa's mind was all focused on the activation of internal force, and he could not hear the outside world's voices at all, so he naturally had no response to Hu Qingpeng's plea. Not only were the two of them equal martial arts, but their internal strength and cultivation were also comparable. At this time, they sincerely admired each other. However, after the internal strength competition was in a stalemate, the situation was uncontrollable. The violent internal force flow was stirring back and forth between them, and urgently looking for an outlet for catharsis. At this time, whoever could not hold on, would be smashed to pieces by this torrent and his soul was scattered. Mingxin, Tianfa had the will to stop, but he was already in the same position as the tiger and had no time to regret it.

Hu Qingpeng begged for a long time without any response, and sat on the ground in a discouragement. But seeing Master Mingxin's face getting redder and red, and it was about to drip bleeding, while Master Tianfa's face became greener and greener, as if a zombie was resurrected. The pillars of air above their heads also began to sway and became lighter, but sweat was as if they were raining, and their clothes were soon penetrated. Hu Qingpeng was even more shocked. They were obviously at the last moment when the oil was exhausted. If they did not separate them, the two strange people might have died together!

Hu Qingpeng was so anxious that he was not worth it, but he was worried about his life, but with his internal strength, how could he want to solve this dead end! He gritted his teeth and said to himself: "Don't worry, the left and right are dead, and the dead horse is treated as a living horse!" He walked to pull up the sword that Taoist Master Tianfa took off, then walked back, took a deep breath, and moved step by step towards the two people in the duel.

Unexpectedly, he was not blocked by the air wall this time, and slowly moved to Mingxin and Tianfa's side. His heart was up and down, and his hands were covered with sweat. It turned out that when the two of them fought internally, they automatically radiated outwards to form a protective air shield to prevent someone from taking the opportunity to attack. However, the internal force was almost exhausted, and the so-called protective air shield naturally shrank extremely. Hu Qingpeng saw the fitting point of the two of them, raised the sword and tweaked it. Before the sword could touch their bodies, he heard a crisp sound. The sword vibrated violently, and the next moment it turned into countless pieces. The moment when the sword trembled, Hu Qingpeng immediately let go of the hilt, but his movement was still one step slower, and he felt that the huge force of Mo Yu surged from his palm, as if he was struck by thunder, flying backwards for more than five feet, vomiting blood and fainting.

The violent power finally found a gap and poured out. When the heart was clear, the law of heaven immediately closed his palm and retreated, his legs and feet became weak, and he sat down at the same time. The two looked at each other and smiled, with a peaceful face. After experiencing the danger of escaping from death, who wins and who loses will no longer be important at this moment. Thinking of the situation where they had shared their lives just now, it was like a different life. Suddenly, an enlightenment surged in their hearts at the same time. If they were bound by victory or defeat, how could they seek Buddha to attain enlightenment?

Master Mingxin crossed his feet in a Vajra sitting posture, with his palm facing upwards, his two thumbs gently pressed into a hand seal, his appearance was solemn, and he chanted: "What a ugly thing appears, his heart is as peaceful as the sea, his delusions are gone, and there is no persecution. Amitabha!"

However, Taoist Master Tianfa stood solemnly and chanted in the wind: "Don't want to be quiet, the heaven and earth will be upright. The ancients really did not deceive me!"

The two of them suddenly realized the truth, and their spiritual consciousness expanded, but they were no different.

Master Mingxin's eyes drooped slightly. Seeing countless pieces of steel scattered on the ground, he suddenly remembered Hu Qingpeng. He thought about it and knew what had happened just now. Master Tianfa felt a sense of emotion, jumped and landed beside Hu Qingpeng. He saw that his face was like gold paper, bleeding from the corners of his mouth, and his breathing was very weak. Master Tianfa's eyebrows slightly frowned, and reached out to put on Hu Qingpeng's vein, and his eyebrows became tighter and tighter. Master Mingxin flew over and said in surprise: "Heaven Fa, has he not saved?" Hu Qingpeng was forcibly invited to arbitration. If something happened, how could he explain to his relatives?

Master Tianfa sighed, "He is very lucky. He should not have any worries about his life, but he will be a little trouble in the future."

Master Mingxin said: "Then why don't you save people quickly! Let's talk about the troubles in the future."

Taoist Master Tianfa took out the pills for healing from his arms, fed Hu Qingpeng, and then asked Master Mingxin to force him to get blood stasis and regulate the meridians. After half an hour, Hu Qingpeng finally slowly opened his eyes and blood began to appear on his face. Seeing that they were safe and sound, Hu Qingpeng said happily: "Master, Taoist Master, are you all okay?"

Master Mingxin knocked him on the forehead without hesitation, "Good boy, you are so bold. You dare to come and dismantle the situation for us. You almost died!"

Fortunately, Hu Qingpeng let go quickly, allowing the sword to withstand most of the internal force impact, otherwise he would have died long ago. Even so, he was still seriously injured and needed to recuperate for several days. What's even more troublesome is Mingxin. Some of the internal force of the Heavenly Law cannot be resolved after entering his body. Pan Heng was a big and small hidden danger in his meridians. But then again, if he hadn't mustered up the courage to separate the two masters, no one would have survived.

Hu Qingpeng checked his true energy silently, and found that two internal forces that did not belong to him were trapped in his body and wandered around uncontrollably. He couldn't help but scratch his head and said, "What should I do? Is there any harm in this way?"

Master Tianfa said: "These two internal forces are forcibly entering your body. We do not actively transport them over and will not walk along a certain route, so we cannot merge with your own internal forces for the time being. Only when your own internal forces are strong enough can they be refined into part of yourself. Before this, they will lurk in the meridians in your body and will not cause much harm to you. However, when you are emotionally excited or use your internal forces excessively, they may come out to make trouble and affect your actions. Only now can you have to step up your internal skills and practice."

When Hu Qingpeng heard that it was not harmful to his body, he put down a big stone in his heart and asked, "Master Taoist, how long will it take for me to resolve these two internal forces?"

Taoist Master Tianfa pondered for a moment and said, "At least five years, and at most seven years."

Hu Qingpeng smiled bitterly. He was already busy enough, and now he was even more at ease.

After healing Hu Qingpeng, he understood the heart and Tianfa meditated and regulated his breathing to restore his internal strength. Hu Qingpeng was idle and tried to mobilize two different internal forces in his body to play. He soon found that these two internal forces faced each other and reached a state of balance, so he was at peace. If his internal strength was biased towards either side, it would be like adding a grain of sand to one end of the balance, which would immediately destroy the balance and cause turbulent conflicts of internal strength. In severe cases, it may hurt the internal organs. If it wants to completely solve this problem, it would be as Master Tianfa said that you should practice internal strength hard.

Mingxin, after Tianfa finished adjusting his breath, he carried Hu Qingpeng and rushed down the mountain. After going down the mountain, Master Mingxin came directly to Hengshan Sword Sect and told Liu Tianyue that Hu Qingpeng was injured. Taoist Master Tianfa brought Hu Qingpeng back to the Taoist temple to take good care of him, and then returned after he recovered from his injuries.

Hu Qingpeng recuperated in the Taoist temple for seven days. He received acupuncture and massage from Taoist Master Tianfa every day, and also drank some medicine that was so bitter that he had intestinal pain. Finally, his injuries were gone and he regained his vitality. After getting up that morning, Hu Qingpeng realized that his injuries had healed and it was time to thank Taoist Master Tianfa. He left the master for many days. I wonder if his adoptive father and mother were worried about it. In the meantime, Taoist Master Tianfa and Master Mingxin came together.

Master Mingxin looked at his eyes and skin color carefully, and smiled with satisfaction: "Little boy, you have a good physique. I am still worried that you will lie there for ten days and half a month."

Hu Qingpeng said: "This is the result of Taoist master's superb medical skills and a rejuvenation of his skill. Taoist master has worked hard these days, and I am grateful to you!"

Master Tianfa stretched out his right hand, held his body that was about to bow down, and twisted his beard and said, "Shame, ashamed! It doesn't matter if we two old guys died, but they almost implicated you. I feel really sorry, how can you accept your bow? If you hadn't decisively dismantled that day, our lives would have been lost. Although we are all monks, we must repay this great life-saving grace!" Master Mingxin nodded and said, "That's right!"

Hu Qingpeng hurriedly said, "Master, Master, I was actually thinking about how to go down the mountain so that I would not starve to death. I dared to act so that I could have a way out of my life. I never thought of asking you to repay you."

Mingxin, Tianfa smiled at each other, and became more and more determined in his original idea. If it were someone else, I would probably have made countless requests now. Master Mingxin showed a slight sign, Master Tianfa stepped back and closed the door and left them alone indoors. Master Mingxin said: "Little kid, we both received your great kindness. If we don't have any expression, we will live for decades in vain. You are pure and kind by nature and have a good character. We all see it. You are a martial artist, but because of different sects, we cannot teach you the unique martial arts skills in violation of the rules, so we decided to pass on each of you to one skill."

When Hu Qingpeng heard that he had the ability to learn, he was naturally happy and hurriedly asked for advice respectfully.

Master Mingxin smiled and said, "I am a Buddhist disciple, so I will teach you how to recite scriptures!" Hu Qingpeng said in a lost voice: "Reciting scriptures? Do you need to teach chanting scriptures?" Master Mingxin said seriously: "This method is the only way to Buddhism to cultivate the mind and understand the nature. Now it is only passed on to you. You must not tell others in the future. Can you respond?" Hu Qingpeng immediately pointed to heaven and sweared and agreed.

What Master Mingxin passed on to him was the Heart Sutra of Prajna Paramita. The sutra has only more than 200 words, which is short and small, and condenses the essence of Buddhism. The Heart Sutra mainly explains the principle that everything in the world is empty, regardless of the five aggregates, eighteen realms, and the Four Truths. It teaches believers to completely break the false attachments of the Dharma, eliminate all desires such as fear, delusion, pain, and then achieve Buddhahood. When reciting the Heart Sutra, you must use a special breathing method to cooperate with the movement of the true qi in the body, and the pronunciation of each character is different, forming a strange rhythm, which is definitely not just a simple chanting. Hu Qingpeng spent an hour, biting his tongue so hard that he learned how to recite the scriptures correctly.

Master Mingxin finally said: "Reciting the Heart Sutra of Prajna Paramita can eliminate all the illusions and illusions in the world, and the mind is as strong as gold and steel, and nothing can be shaken. A sincere person recites it loudly ten times a day according to the law, and after a thousand consecutive days, he will have a small success. At that time, he can experience the various wonderful things in the sutra. In the future, he does not need to recite it with a voice, and recite it silently in his heart. Jiedi Jiedi, Pila Jiedi, Pila Monk Jiedi, and Bodhi Savakha." He threw down a string of mantras and pushed the door away.

Taoist Master Tianfa came in and what he passed on to Hu Qingpeng was the method of practicing "Sky Eyes". "Opening the Sky Eyes" is a wonderful method of Taoism. It is said that people who have achieved the Sky Eyes can see through thousands of miles of eyes and see through iron and stone. But from now on, it is only a matter of legend. The Tianyes Eyes taught by Taoist Master Tianfa must use external medicine to apply medicines and take pills internally to enhance their eyesight. On the other hand, they can train their eyes to distinguish and agile through various methods. Finally, they can reach the state of night vision as day and as sharp as eagles.
