43. Soldiers approaching the city (4)

Anger and humiliation were like oil on the ground, spreading into a raging fire under the flames guided by the chivalrous spirit.

The magicians under Michael launched attacks one after another, and the soldiers danced weapons from all directions, and the knights of armor shining with golden and silver were suddenly caught in a situation of attack.

"Fight for the undefeated chivalry!"

The golden armor shouted and took the lead in greeting the magician.

"Fight for the undefeated knight spirit!" the silver armor shouted, and their numb eyes finally showed a bright light!

There is still darkness outside the fire.

But the fire is still burning.

There is a battle here.

It is not a battle between a magician and a knight, but a battle between a knight and himself.

Hayden and Hanson jumped off the castle in chaos. They didn't have a second to wonder if this was a trap. A tenth-level knight, even though he had been confused, wandered, and surrendered, would never blaspheme the spirit of the chivalry. This is a simple and simple belief, without profound truth, but is regarded as a god by every knight.

The god of the Light is the goddess of light, the god of the magician is the element, and the god of the knight is the code of knight and the spirit of the knight!

As soon as Hayden and Hanson landed, they touched in the direction of the cage.

Mondra woke up by swaying, and as soon as she opened her eyes, she saw Darren's sad silhouette. He knelt on the ground, his shoulders trembled slightly. In front of him, Arnold frowned and lay quietly, as if all the noise around him had nothing to do with him.

Two silver armors guarded their side, helping them to block the attacks of soldiers and magicians from time to time.

Hayden put Mondra down and turned to fight.

Hanson immediately took his place and protected Mondra to Darren's side.

Two silver armors looked at him alertly, and then continued to deal with the group of soldiers who were constantly rushing over.

"He's a good boy." Hansen squatted down and gently stroked Arnold's forehead.

Darren whispered, "If you hadn't taken me out of that house, if I hadn't taken you home... would he... be fine?" His voice was so low and so desperate. He lowered his head, tears fell down his cheeks in a string, hitting Aaron's neck, and then slid to the ground.

Hansen couldn't answer. He had no ability to predict and did not know whether the second line would be more unobstructed than Line 1 when the life trajectory was divided into Line 1 and Line 2. But what is certain is that if this result was the case, he would not have made such a choice at the beginning.

"People will always die." Mondra's cold and ruthless voice angered Darren. He suddenly raised his head, his eyes were vicious and angry, "He died because of you!"

Hanson wanted to persuade him, but Mondra was not lazy at all now. He replied very quickly: "There are many conditions to trigger the result, and this is one of them."

Darren said: "But without this condition, he would not die!"

Mondra said: "You are one of the conditions."

Darren was stunned for a moment. His cold eyes locked on Mondra, motionless, but his anger was suppressed in a brief palpitation.

The attacks around him became increasingly dense, and Hansen had to join the battle group.

Mondra and Darren stood in a protective net composed of him and two silver armor, so quiet that they were out of place.

"You're right." Darren covered his face and said in pain, "It's me, it's me who killed him! He is to save me! It's to save me..."

Mondra leaned over and touched Arnold. This was a very nice corpse. Its skeleton was quite large and it was very well-proportioned.

Darren almost choked in tears, wiped his tears but found that Mondra's hand was touching Arnold's body, and he couldn't help but twitch his nose and asked in surprise: "What are you doing?"

Mondra said: "If there is a necromancer, he can turn him into a witch corpse."

Darren looked at him in surprise, as if he was watching a madman. He suddenly pushed him away, picked up Arnold hard, and stared at him with alertness: "Don't dream! I will never let him become a witch corpse!"

Mondra sat on the ground, blinked in confusion and said, "Why?"

"Why?" Darren was so angry that he could hardly speak. "Who would want to turn his friends into puppets of others' hands?!" His angry voice changed tone. "Even if we were slaves when we were alive, it does not mean that we would even be deprived of our freedom after death!"

Mondra said: "But, this will save the body."

Darren said: "I think he would rather have no bones than continue to be bound!"

Mondra opened her mouth, and before she could make any sound, Darren waved roughly: "Don't worry about us anymore!"

Mondra was silent.

Originally, the knights suffered a lot in terms of numbers. Not only that, magicians are good at long attacks and barriers. Compared with knights with similar ranks, magicians have the upper hand at the beginning, unless they are not strong in their mental power.

But Hayden's addition made the situation turn around.

The golden armor announced the arrival of the Imperial Marshal in a high-profile manner, making the already passionate knights even more motivated.

By comparison, the magician struggled to deal with it.

Hayden is a dual cultivation of magic and martial arts. His magic enlightenment teacher is Olivia, one of the most powerful magicians in the empire. This made him not pull the magic down even after he was distracted from learning fighting spirit.

His water barrier immediately became the strongest protective umbrella for the Knights.

Golden Armor glanced at him in surprise.

It is not a secret that the Imperial Marshal is a tenth-level knight, but not many people know that he is a dual cultivation of magic and martial arts.

As time goes by, the magicians consumed a lot of mental power and gradually became devastated.

Michael, who had been standing by the balcony and closely watched the battle, was almost vomiting blood. He turned around suddenly and walked towards the depths of the castle.

The two soldiers originally wanted to keep up, but they were rudely rejected by him.

The soldiers looked at each other and looked at the battlefield worriedly.

They seemed to have seen the dawn of victory on the gold and silver armor.

The knights gradually gained the upper hand.

Hansen escaped from the battle and came to Darren and Mondra. This place has become a safe area and no one is approaching.

"What are your plans in the future?" Hansen wiped the sweat from his forehead, and the sword was still in his hand, with blood flowing from the sword.

Darren raised his head numbly, and when he saw the blood, his pupils shrank slightly, "I want to go back."

Hansen was silent for a while and said, "Do you want to... be my apprentice?"

Darren's eyes were neither surprised nor happy, but he just looked at him coldly.

"This is Arnold's wish." Hanson felt guilty. If he had agreed to Arnold's request at that time, perhaps he would have had less regrets before leaving. "I think he would be very happy if you did it for him."

Darren growled, "Why didn't you agree to him at that time?"

Hansen said: "I'm still young. I'm going to go back to the army. I can't have a lot of time to teach students."

Darren mocked, "What about now?"

"Now I'm willing to take out my sleep time." Hansen paused, "Would you like to join the Emperor's team?"

"I don't want to." Darren replied without hesitation, "I will never let my blood flow for the nobles of the empire!"

Hansen sighed, "It's not like this. Not all nobles are like Michael. In fact, slave trade is expressly prohibited by imperial laws. He violated imperial laws and His Majesty will soon send someone to arrest him."

Darren's face was full of suspicion.

"This place is too far from Variel, and a lot of things have happened to the Empire recently..."

"It's not what this place has become like today!" Darren said angrily, "My father, my father's father... Is it always happening in the empire? Isn't the city of Cote, far away from the imperial capital, the territory of the empire?"

Hanson was stopped.

"Yes. Court City has always been the territory of the empire, but the emperor before the empire was not Siro Casdaron." Hayden walked over, shook his head, and sweat spilled along the ends of his golden hair.
