Chapter 113 Gotham In Progress (Part 2)

The sewer in Gotham City has a long history, and no matter which city renovation it was, it basically did not affect it. This is Gotham's darkest underground kingdom.

Basically, there will be no Gotham citizen wandering around here without any worries. If Marvel's New York subway would have some strange evil scientists and good neighbors, then the Gotham sewers during this period can be said to be dead silent, and even homeless men and beggars would not come down, because they have heard of the legend that all people who appear in the sewers will disappear for no reason.

But Catwoman is very skilled and brave, and she can get into any corner. In order to avoid Bruce's sight, she got into the sewer in just a few seconds.

The catwoman is indeed talented in this regard. She didn't go far and found traces of someone moving near the reservoir on the east side.

Originally, she was just curious, so she kept searching for these traces, but soon, the next discovery exceeded her expectations. The catwoman found a huge conference room in the sewer.

The Catwoman was trying to die again, and she knew that this was a big deal, so she quickly called Bruce.

Falcone, who received the news, Bruce and Schiller arrived together. The three of them stood in the huge conference room. Bruce looked up at the dome full of ribbons and said, "This is not something that a gangster or a gangster can build..."

Indeed, the ceiling here is more than ten meters high, and the entire conference room uses a huge stone support structure. Not to mention the ingenuity of this architectural design, just such a large project volume is not something that one or two people can complete.

Falcone stood at the front of the huge conference table, and he seemed a little silent. The old godfather's eyes slid along the conference table to the end, looking at Schiller, who was pondering there, and he asked, "You don't seem surprised."

"Same for you," Schiller said.

The three of them were a little silent, and in the end, Bruce spoke to break the deadlock. He said: "It seems that we have all guessed that there is a mysterious force that is secretly manipulating Gotham, and this is the evidence."

"We all paid a heavy price for it." The speaker was Falcone, who said, "I know that your doubts about your parents' death have not stopped, and so have me."

The old godfather closed his eyes and seemed to fall into contemplation again. He said: "My eldest son died in an equally bizarre shooting, which was also a night many years ago, but I chose to remain silent until today."

"Do you think these people are murderers?" Bruce knocked on the table, and then he looked at Schiller and said, "Professor, you should have no reason to investigate this, and you called out his name when you faced the killer that day."

"You'd better not be so arbitrary, then what do you think I'm pursuing serial murders around the world?" Schiller said.

Bruce frowned and said, "You have known the secrets about the existence of this organization?"

"More than that, I know more, but I can't reveal it, and even if you know it, I'm afraid it won't change anything."

"What's its name?" Falcone asked.

"The Owl Court, their killer is called Claw."

"That nursery rhyme..." Bruce suddenly remembered that there was a strange and terrifying nursery rhyme circulating in Gotham City: Be careful of the Owl Court, always monitor your travels, peek at Gotham City in the dark, hide in the low walls and attics, live in his home, and he is also in the lieutenant and bed room. Wanmo mentions his name, and the sharp claws bring you to search for it.

Falcone was silent, he did not continue to ask questions, Bruce wanted to ask more, but Schiller interrupted him, saying: "What we need to think about now is why the organization suddenly evacuated here? This does not seem to bode well."

Schiller was really confused. Why did the Owl Court disappear overnight?

In so many comics, he hasn't seen any owl court slipping out of Gotham. Looking at the appearance of this conference room, it seems that it was used not long ago, so why did it disappear in an instant?

Bruce Mosuo said with his chin: "Maybe they just moved the stronghold?"

"Then why did they suddenly move their stronghold?"

Bruce and Falcone both shook their heads. From the perspective of these three people, this behavior is indeed very strange. No major incident happened to Gotham recently. Why is this organization in a hurry to move?

Moreover, this conference room is indeed very secretive. If they hadn't moved too quickly and left traces, even if the buildings on Gotham were rebuilt, the base below would not have been discovered.

The investment is so huge and the construction is so well-built, but if you say no, just don’t want it, what exactly happened that they didn’t know?

"But now we have all confirmed that there is indeed such an organization, and it is not an accident that Gotham has developed to this day," said Falcone.

"We have to be united," Schiller said, knocking on the table.

"No matter what you think, I must warn you that this organization is even more terrifying than you think. It is not only manipulating Gotham, but also trying to manipulate the world in this way."

"If we cannot show our strength to fight it, Gotham and the whole world will be shrouded in the darkness of the owl's wings."

"I will make them pay the price," said Falcone. "I have been waiting for this day for too long and I don't speak, it doesn't mean I have forgotten about it. I'm just waiting for them to leave a feather, and today, I finally waited."

"It looks like we all have a grudge against the Owl Court," Bruce said, holding his arms.

He was not 100% sure that his parents' death had something to do with this mysterious organization, but what he was extremely sure was that if it was this dark organization that manipulated Gotham and made it what it is today, they would have to be one of the culprits who killed his parents.

Bruce stood on one side of the long table, Falcone and Schiller stood at both ends of the long table, in the dark conference room, with only the slowly shaking candlelight.

Finally, Falcone said: "In order to avenge them, I am willing to form an alliance with you, but this alliance must be secret enough that any member who joins this alliance must be reviewed by other members, and we only have one purpose..."

Bruce then said, "Break all the mysterious powers that attempt to manipulate Gotham..."

"…bring a new order to the city," Schiller said.

The three people who returned to the ground said nothing. There was no paper document in this covenant, or even no clear provision, but all three people knew that this secret meeting that took place underground in Gotham determined the future fate of the city.

Soon, police detective Gordon and lawyer Harvey, who could be trusted in character, ability and belief, also joined the covenant one after another, and the original version of the "Gotham Secret Meeting" was born.

This is an organization that is even more mysterious than the Owl Court. It has no goals, no action program, and no one even uses any identity of the organization to contact. They only maintain their superficial social identity, and only develop some tacit understanding that is only a little more than usual when doing certain things.

The ultimate goal of this organization is only one: if Gotham is born chaotic, then let it be so chaotic and free forever, and anyone who wants to manipulate this place will eventually fail, Gotham will always be just Gotham.

After confirming the movement of the Owl Court, Schiller put aside his concerns and began to prepare for the first reconstruction of Gotham City. The first thing he had to do was to come up with a perfect urban planning plan for Gotham City.

Of course, Schiller himself does not have this knowledge, but it doesn't matter. He has a very useful golden finger.

"Stuck, use your genius brain to think of a solution!"

In Marvel New York, in the laboratory of Stark Building, Schiller handed a box of drawings to Stark. Stark was puzzled. After looking at two pages, he said, "What is this? Urban Planning Diagram? Why are you giving me this?"

"Now I need a perfect urban planning plan for this city. You'd better get it quickly, I'll use it urgently."

Stark glanced at the drawings, then looked at him, and the two of them stared at each other, Stark said, "Why do you think I can plan the city?"

"You don't know, but you can learn it. Anyway, you always have to learn it. Why can't it be today?"

"Even if you can't learn it, Jarvis can learn it. He is a super artificial intelligence, so planning a city should be easy, right?"

Stark opened his mouth, and the swear words were almost at his mouth. He looked down at the drawings and said, "You are going to let me do the urban planning of such a megacity?"

"Okay." Schiller said: "Actually, there is a super genius who is similar to you who has come up with the first version of the plan, but because... you know, his supercomputer has insufficient computing power, so I can only come to you to borrow some technical support."

Stark didn't listen to any other words, he only heard the sentence "Super genius similar to you". Just as he was about to refute, Schiller threw another part of the drawings to him. Stark stared at him half-believingly and half-doubtedly, and then was stunned.

"Wait." Stark lowered his head and took out some documents in the box, and then began to compare them on the spot. He took out more drawings while looking at them. He said, "What kind of test questions are these? This city does not exist in the world at all. It was made up by you. What's the point?"

"The meaning is to see which of you two is more genius."

"I'll say it again, there's absolutely no one in this world that's smarter than Stark." Stark stretched out a finger and said, "If you think there's such a person, it must be your illusion, and I'll show you now."

As he said that, he also started writing and drawing on the map with his pen. He said, "Okay, I admit that he is a genius. His understanding of the logistics operation system is very unique and looks perfect..."

"But it must not be the best. I have a better idea... Look here, this central turntable is the problem. You must think this turntable is very important..."

Once this problem is involved, Stark becomes very serious and extremely organized, saying: "I admit that this guy you are talking about is very strong. It seems that he has not even used computer tools, but has operated manually, and has almost reached the limit of humanity..."

"But he was a little creative. As I said, his vision was a bit backward. The city does not necessarily have to be flat or three-dimensional..."

"Three-dimensional city, yes, it is a three-dimensional city. I know that this concept has been proposed for many years, and no city has successfully practiced it. But assuming, I mean, assuming that the city you gave me really exists in this world, then the three-dimensional city must be the most perfect solution!"

Stark's tone was quite firm, and he said, "Look at the structure of this city... Look here! This is the prototype. What is it called here? Living Hell? How could anyone give the block this name?"

"Forget it, that doesn't matter. What's important is that their spontaneously formed ecosystem is almost infinitely close to the concept of a three-dimensional city. This is actually part of the standard answer. This model is very suitable for the current situation of this city, especially it has a port..."

"Looking at this person's plan, he uses the central turntable as the main hub, and his idea is correct, but as I said, he lacks creativity. The central turntable can be completely not a circle, but a spherical shape..."
