1.23 Real bone relic

Nowadays, Buddhism has no rules for future generations. After An Shigao passed away, he did not hold the so-called water and land temple or grand ritual. It was just a vassal monk who came to Middle-earth to work together to carry him and his couch out of the house and placed it in the open space in front of the cool terrace.

Qingliangtai was originally a place where Emperor Ming studied and enjoyed the cool air when he was young. Later, it was a place where the eminent monks from the Western Regions, such as Moteng and Zhu Falan, translated scriptures.

The last main hall of White Horse Temple, the Vilu Hall, was set up on the Qingliangtai. Two monks practiced on the Qingliangtai until their death. The tombs of Shemoteng and Zhu Falan were divided into east and west sides of the mountain gate of White Horse Temple to express their condolences. After the Eastern Han Dynasty, the Qingliangtai was the place where the White Horse Temple scriptures were stored. Around the Vilu Pavilion on the platform, there were side halls, monks' rooms, corridors, etc., which were a Han-style courtyard. It has its own pattern and was later praised as the "Air Courtyard". It is comparable to the "Air Garden" of Babylon.

All the monks in the temple came to help. They were not happy or sad, their hands and feet were neat, and their actions were as usual.

Soon, the monks piled up firewood and collapsed An Shigao and his people, surrounding him.

Prepare to burn it.

A tall and tall monk walked to Liu Bei with a torch.

"I'll do it?" Liu Bei was stunned.

"The last thing An Shigao saw was Tanna. Tanna was his last ties in the world." The monk spoke in a pure Jingji official speech.

Liu Bei understood. Then he raised the fire and looked at An Shigao who was sitting in the circle, and lit the fire circle around.

Following the guidance of the monk, he threw the torch into the sea of fire and was full of concern.

The fire is blazing, and the fragrance of Fantasy is everywhere.

The monks of the temple meditated together and chanted Buddhist scriptures in Sanskrit, and saw An Shigao off.

Liu Bei looked at the flames quietly, fearing that any strange phenomenon would be missed. As a result, the auspicious clouds and Buddha light did not appear. It was just a fire that devoured everything.

All are finished.

"Lord?" Seeing the flames rising, Jia Xu couldn't help but speak.

"Wenhe, let's take a look." Liu Bei was still a little unwilling to give up.

"Here." How could Jia Xu not know Liu Bei's intention? Even though his lord did not believe in Buddhism, he wanted to see if Buddhism could save the world.

In ancient India during the Buddha's era, there were four burial methods: cremation (cremation), water burial, earth burial, and forest burial (discarded forest). Cremation is the first of all burials and has continued to this day.

Before the Buddha entered the extinction, he instructed his disciples to collect relics and build pagodas and temples so that when future generations saw the pagoda, they could admire the creation of Tathagata. After the Buddha entered the extinction, the disciples followed the instructions and set up incense wood to burn the Buddha's body. After cremating, they obtained the "eight buckets and four buckets" of the Buddha's relics from the ashes.

Everything is simple nowadays.

A pile of firewood was sent to the west.

"Master?Master?"

When Liu Bei opened his eyes when he heard the sound, he couldn't help but feel ashamed. I went, but he fell asleep in the middle of the night...

Jia Xu was afraid that he would not sleep all night. Then he said softly: "Before dawn, the flames are gradually extinguishing. Several monks of the vassal are waiting to clear the fire. Therefore, they awaken the lord."

"There is no need for you." Liu Bei got up, moved his legs and walked towards the fire.

"Get the Buddha's relics in the ashes, 'eight hu and four dou'." So many, the Buddha is extraordinary. The monk who had delivered torches was groping back and forth in the ashes with a dead wooden Zen stick. Suddenly, he heard a crisp sound. He raised the head of the stick. A red relics bead was then turned out.

The monk nodded happily, and his eyebrows were also very happy.

If you can form relics, it should be the manifestation of success in your practice.

It is as huge as a longan, but only this one.

The monk took out the red beads and presented them to Liu Bei. The relics beads... can they be given to others?

Seeing Liu Bei's eyes showed suspicion, the monk smiled and said, "The Buddha's destiny is a destiny."

Liu Bei opened his mouth and silently accepted it without mentioning it.

The relic beads come from the fire and still have a residual heat. Two curved bone pieces, one from the female restaurant in Hu Ji’s restaurant. One should be the relics of An Shigao. Liu Bei tried to put them together, and it turned out to be the shape of an ivory. However, one missing.

In other words, there are three tokens, but I don’t know who the last one is in my hands.

Seeing that the vassal monks put An Shigao's ashes on the altar and were about to sprinkle them into Luoshui. Liu Bei said goodbye and left.

After thinking about it, he left to Ma Market again.

Unexpectedly, the Hu Ji wine shop was covered with white gauze.

"Not good!" Liu Bei hurriedly got out of the car and rushed in quickly.

The lobby was filled with people of all kinds. Luoyang Ling Zhou Yi was also there.

When he saw Liu Bei, he went forward to salute: "June and Hou."

"Mingting, could it be..."

"The restaurant An died for no reason last night. I have ordered someone to investigate, but he died and no one was framed."

"..." Liu Bei felt lost.

After saying that, the Luoyang Order took the coupon of Hu Ji’s house and handed it to Liu Bei: "There is a handwritten letter from An before the case. He said that the wine shop and a group of Hu Ji and slaves were given to the king and marquis."

Seeing that Liu Bei had not yet come back to his senses, the chief clerk Jia Xu stepped forward to take over.

Only then did Liu Bei react and hurriedly saluted.

Luoyang Order also returned the gift, but he didn't mention it when he was busy.

Liu Bei climbed up to the third floor along the ladder, followed the mourners and others to find the body of the female restaurant.

The body was naked and waxed, and was changed into a mourning dress. His face was peaceful and lifelike. The mourning hall was covered with deer skin, and deer skulls were hung in it. The room was filled with the smell of sandalwood and frankincense. A pair of priests sat in front of the fire and recited scriptures. A pair of yellow-eared white dogs were tied next to it.

"This is a 'dog-seeing ceremony'." Jia Xu stepped forward and said, "The female restaurant must be a Zoroastrian."

Zoroastrianism is the state religion of the rest empire. It is called "Xiānism", "Zoroastrianism" and "Zoroastrianism" in the Central Plains.

According to the Pahlavivin scripture, the soul of the deceased sat at one of the body, and lasted for three days and three nights in total. In the early morning of the fourth day, the soul arrived at the terrifying "Bridge of Referees" (i.e. "Chinwat Bridge"). In order to give the deceased the greatest help, the family must mourn within three days. The priest must recite the scriptures, then sacrifice blood and worship fire. On the night of the third day, he will offer meat and shrouds to the deceased to ensure that the spirit of the deceased can safely embark on his journey to the underworld in the morning the next day.

The teachings of Zoroastrianism believe that after a person dies, a dead corpse will be accompanied by a dead corpse. It appears in the form of a fly and needs to be used to drive away this corpse demon. According to the third section of Chapter 8 of "Vendidad", choosing a yellow dog with four eyes or a white dog with yellow ears, and taking it to the deceased, can make the corpse demon fly away from the dead.

This is called: Dog Vision Ceremony.

The Zoroastrians teach that before the dead are buried, they need to perform multiple dog-visiting rituals. When wearing a shroud for the deceased, they will perform dog-visiting. After the body is moved out of the corpse. After the first dog-visiting, the room will be lit to remove poison and burn with sandalwood and frankincense. The priest sat in front of the fire and chanted scriptures, watched the fire burn forever until the dead body was sent to the cemetery.

Others can also recite scriptures in the morgue, but they must be at least three steps away from the dead body to avoid being harmed by demon poison.

What the scripture says is just like before your eyes.

The prince and the princess, one believes in Buddhism and the other worships the Fire.

Although faiths are different, they end in the same day. Is it a coincidence or another reason?

What are the grudges and grudges between the two? Where is the third bone piece?

Now that people die, the lights are gone, all kinds of questions are unknown.

After thinking about it, I only received a long sigh.
Chapter completed!
