Chapter 92(2/3)

"No discomfort," Qiu Yan said in a daze, "it's just cold."

"You have a fever!" Bian Nan jumped out of bed, put on his clothes quickly, rushed to the living room, and took out the thermometer from the drawer where the medicine was placed.

Qiu Yan's face was very red. Bian Nan wrapped him up with a quilt, and his body was still shaking.

39 degrees.

Bian Nan looked at the numbers on the thermometer and felt nervous. He grabbed Qiu Yan's clothes and put them on him: "Erbao, you have a fever, let's go to the hospital."

"I'll just sleep for a while." Qiu Yan struggled a little.

"We go to see a doctor quietly," Bian Nan knew what he was thinking, grabbed his arm, "Don't tell my brother and dad."

Qiu Yan glanced at him and nodded.

He hugged Qiu Yan and got into the taxi. Bian Nan called Wan Fei: "Are you at home or in the gym?"

"What's wrong with the gym?" Wan Fei asked.

"Come here to help," Bian Nan looked at Qiu Yan, who was leaning against his arms and blushing. "Erbao has a fever, I'll send him there now..."

"I'll go there right away." Wan Fei interrupted him and hung up the phone.

The hospital's emergency department was not together with the inpatient department, half a street, and no one could help the two ends of the border south.

Wan Fei took a taxi about ten minutes later than Bian Nan. When he ran into the emergency room, the nurse had just arranged a bed for Qiu Yan.

"What's the situation?" Wan Fei shouted as soon as he saw Qiu Yan's face.

"I don't know if I catch a cold or something," Bian Nan frowned. "The doctor didn't ask for an injection. He took the medicine first and then observed it."

"This is..." Wan Fei whispered in Bian Nan's ear, "Is this urgent?"

"The doctor said that the problem is not big and don't worry, just observe it first," Bian Nan took out his cell phone, "Please help me guard it, I'll contact Qiu Yi."

"Okay," Wan Fei leaned over to Qiu Yan's bed and bent down, "Erbao, remember who I am?"

"Brother Wan Fei." Qiu Yan smiled.

"Hey, so good," Wan Fei took out his pocket for a long time, took out a foot recorder, "Do you know what this is?"

"I don't know." Qiu Yanting stared at him with interest.

"Pedal recorder, can this thing be recorded how many steps you have taken," Wan Fei handed the footprinter to him, "I'll tell you how to play..."

Bian Nan called Qiu Yi, and Qiu Yi's voice sounded unenergized: "Have you brought me breakfast? Suddenly I was so hungry that I wanted to roar."

"I'll buy it for you later," Bian Nan wanted to laugh and feel distressed as he heard this, "I'll tell you, don't worry, it's okay."

"What?" Qiu Yi asked.

"Erbao had a fever in the morning, at 39 degrees. I just sent him to the emergency room. After taking medicine, the doctor asked him to observe it." Bian Nan finished speaking without much pause, for fear that he would be anxious if he had gasped for a longer time.

"...How come you have a fever?" Qiu Yi was still a little anxious.

"The thick quilt I covered yesterday shouldn't catch a cold. I guess it was because I was worried and anxious," Bian Nan whispered, "I told him that I didn't tell you, so you pretended not to know. I called Wan Fei to come and guard... How about your dad?"

Qiu Yi was silent for a while: "It's not good. I said it hurt in the middle of the night yesterday. I was so troubled until the morning, and I had a little fever again."

"Why don't you tell me in the middle of the night?" Bian Nan was anxious, and after saying that, he regretted yelling with Qiu Yi. How could Qiu Yi want to call him under that situation?

"It's okay now, come here and wait a moment." Qiu Yi said.

Bian Nan turned around and told Wan Fei a few more words. Qiu Yan had already closed his eyes and fell asleep. He touched Qiu Yan's face, turned around and ran towards the hospitalization department.

On the way, I went to the line and bought a few cakes at the breakfast stall.

When he ran into the ward, he was stunned. There was another equipment in the ward that he didn't know what to use.

Dad Qiu was lying on the bed with a tube in his mouth.

Bian Nan couldn't even move his steps and leaned against the door for a long time without saying anything.

It took a long time before he whispered in a trembling voice: "Why... is this?"

Qiu Yi pulled the corner of his mouth and smiled: "It's still the same. My dad hates the most, intubation or something..."

Bian Nan opened his mouth and couldn't speak, so he walked over and hugged Qiu Yi.

"I got off again in the middle of the night... I was critically ill..." Qiu Yi also hugged him, his voice trembling violently, "I can't speak anymore."

Bian Nan didn't know how to describe his mood, just like all his emotions were locked in his heart, unable to cry or shout.

At this moment, he suddenly felt the painful feeling that Qiu Yi had been holding everything in his heart for so long.

Dad Qiu is not his father, but for him, he is quite like the father he wants, cheerful, humorous, considerate and trusting his children. He is used to seeing Dad Qiu sitting in a wheelchair and talking about the past at Qiu Yi's house. He is used to seeing Dad Qiu who listens carefully while chatting and bickering. He is used to hearing Dad Qiu express all kinds of complaints about not allowing him to eat meat or drink...

He was so uncomfortable that he didn't know how to relieve it, what about Qiu Yi?

What about the second treasure?

Qiu Yan's fever subsided at noon. He was still a little weak, but he was still energetic.

Bian Nan originally wanted Wan Fei to take him home, but Qiu Yan was unwilling to do so and insisted on staying in the ward. He spent two days with Qiu YiBian Nan, sitting silently on the sofa in the ward, and only went home when he was sleeping at night.

It is quite convenient for Wan Fei to take leave at work. After taking two days off, he stayed in the hospital together. His date with Xu Rui was changed to Xu Rui and chatted with them while helping them deliver meals.

Shen Tao finally got off the boat and ran to the hospital directly, but he didn't even go back home.

A few people rushed into the corridor and had nothing to say, but although everyone could no longer help, it was still a little calmer.

After inserting the tube, Dad Qiu never woke up completely. He only occasionally opened his eyes. When Qiu Yi and Bian Nan talked to him, he would react, but he could no longer express himself.

Bian Nan dared not stay in the ward, because he was afraid that his emotions would make Dad Qiu uncomfortable.

In just two or three days, Dad Qiu was severely ill for the third time.

Qiu Yi has not slept, like a real perpetual motion machine. Bian Nan wanted him to rest several times, but he couldn't speak. Qiu Yi has been fighting for his father and brother every day for so many years. In the end, no one has the right to speak for him to rest.

Dad Qiu spent another day in a bunch of instruments and tubes. His condition has been unstable and he has completely fallen into a coma.

The doctor came over and saw it, walked out of the ward and called Qiu Yi aside.

Biannan leaned against the wall and stared at the doctor's back. Qiu Yi didn't say anything. The doctor's voice was very low. Biannan held his ear and swept a few words with conjecture.

Depletion.

iicu.

Ventilator.

He suddenly straightened his back and looked at Qiu Yi facing them.

Bian Nan still remembers what Dad Qiu said clearly. He knew that Dad Qiu was unwilling to rescue him, and he could not accept any intubation, IU or ventilator.

But Qiu Yi has never expressed his opinion. He has never said whether he agrees or disagrees with Dad Qiu's meaning.

Now, although no one wants to do so, he has reached this last step.

Bian Nan stared at Qiu Yi. He didn't know what answer he wanted Qiu Yi to give the doctor. He was in a mess and was almost unable to think.

Qiu Yi was silent for a long time after the doctor finished speaking, and finally said something softly.

The doctor nodded, turned around and walked through several people and walked into the ward, explaining to the nurse what to pay attention to later.

Bian Nan had already guessed Qiu Yi's answer when he was silent. When he heard the doctor not mentioning the patient's preparation for ICU in the ward, his heart suddenly sank to the bottom.

"Qiu Yi," he slowly walked to Qiu Yi, "Did you... give up?"

Qiu Yi looked up at him, his eyes covered with red bloodshot were filled with pain.

"Yes." Qiu Yi said.

"Why!" Bian Nan roared and pushed Qiu Yi's chest suddenly, "People are still alive! Why give up!"

Qiu Yi was pushed back by him and staggered a few steps, hitting the door of the fire passage.

"What are you thinking!" Bian Nan rushed up and pushed him into the fire passage, grabbing his collar, "Why did you give up? Are you crazy?"

Wan Fei and Shen Tao followed him and wanted to pull Bian Nan away.

"Brother Nan, Brother Nan," Wan Fei pulled his arm, "Don't do this, Qiu Yi is not feeling well..."

"I don't feel good about him, he still like this!" Bian Nan roared, struggled for a while and threw Wan Fei and Shen Tao aside, staring at Qiu Yi, "If he said he didn't want to rescue you, then he wouldn't rescue him! He is your father! How do you explain to Erbao!"

Qiu Yi leaned against the wall and stared at him. After a while, he said: "Rescue means a few more days of pain in the ICU."

Bian Nan didn't say anything, and couldn't speak. Finally, he glanced at Qiu Yi, turned around and rushed down the stairs.

After rushing out of the hospital, Bian Nan sat down on the flower bed by the side of the road, holding his head.

He could no longer stay outside the ward, and watched Dad Qiu's life disappear little by little.

He bit his lip hard.

That's it?

Is it over like this?

Dad Qiu is just like this...Is he leaving soon?

Bian Nan felt chills all over his body. He had no right to interfere with Qiu Yi's decision. He also knew some things. Indeed, the final result of rescue and non-rescue was the same. This is the disease, and no one could do anything to restore the situation.

But even if he could understand rationally, he even knew that Dad Qiu repeatedly emphasized that he was unwilling to make trouble like this, but emotionally he couldn't accept it.
