Chapter 12(1/2)
Bian Nan threw a word and went to the kitchen to help. Qiu Yi leaned on the bed and opened the book to continue reading.
"Brother," Qiu Yan ran into the inner room after a few minutes, "How long does it take to stew the beef?"
Bian Nan's shout came from the kitchen: "No need to ask, I know how long it will take to stew!"
"It's enough for half an hour, stew it in a pressure cooker." Qiu Yi smiled and reached out to apply it on Qiu Yan's nose.
Qiu Yan's nose was covered with beads of sweat, and he looked very excited.
Not to mention the usual day at home, there are basically no guests during the Chinese New Year. Qiu Yan was so happy that he ran out and started attacking. Qiu Yi rarely saw him.
"Big Huzi," Qiu Yan ran into the kitchen, "My brother said it would take half an hour to simmer the pressure cooker."
"Oh," Bian Nan was very depressed. He really didn't know how long the beef should be stewed, but he could check it. He was awkward to tell it from Qiu Yi. He was not easy to attack in front of Qiu Yan, so he could only nod, "Then let's get other dishes first when stewing the meat."
"Yeah!" Qiu Yan turned around and ran to the yard, and brought the washed vegetables in, "Will you cook first?"
"Okay." Bian Nan took the food and put it on the chopping board and stopped it twice. When he thought of how busy he was in the kitchen and Qiu Yi was lying on the bed to read a book, he wanted to leave.
"It's so good." Qiu Yan looked at him on the chopping board, smiling all over his face.
"What's so good." Bian Nan responded casually.
"Everything is good!" Qiu Yan answered loudly, and turned around and ran out with a little embarrassed look.
"There are no guests at home. His brother has little time at home. Usually I and them are the only ones," Qiu Yi's father smiled at the kitchen door. "As soon as so many people are having dinner together, this child is happy."
"Is his brother so busy?" Bian Nan also squeezed out a smile.
"Yes, I have to go to school and work. In this case..." Qiu Yi's father said, and then he lowered his voice, and then sighed, "He is responsible for everything at home, thank you for your hard work."
Bian Nan was silent and didn't say anything, and he didn't know what to say for a while.
Bian Nan spent almost two hours to make four dishes and one soup. Looking at the plates placed on the table, he felt a little mixed with emotion.
Although he was not welcomed at home, he was treated as a young master since he was a child. He had never done a job. Now he has made several dishes that taste but looks good but is a good deal. He also brought a soup with him...
And he was able to make such a significant "progress" because of Qiu Yi.
No, it's not because of Qiu Yi.
If he hadn't sent Qiu Yi to the hospital, he wouldn't have caused a chain reaction to this situation where he could not even be able to accept it.
Qiu Yi's legs could not move. When Qiu Yan entered the house and helped him get out of bed, he was struggling to jump.
"Wheelchair." Qiu Yi simply said two words.
Qiu Yan immediately understood, ran behind his father, and planned to push the wheelchair over and let Qiu Yi support him.
When Bian Nan saw the situation, he couldn't stand it and couldn't speak, so he had to grit his teeth and say, "I'll do it."
Qiu Yi didn't say anything, leaned against the bed and looked at him.
Bian Nan walked to Qiu Yi and stretched out his left hand first. He didn't know whether to support or support him, so he stretched out his right hand again, but found that he was twisting his right hand, so he stretched out his left hand again.
Qiu Yi tskated, raised his arm and hooked it on his shoulder, and jumped to the door with force.
Bian Nan calmed down and controlled himself, and did not directly pull Qiu Yi's arm and swung him to the ground, and followed Qiu Yi to take a step forward.
But this posture like a wooden stake made both of them unable to move. After tying his neck and walking for two steps, he had to hug Qiu Yi's waist, gritted his teeth and half-dragged Qiu Yi to the side of the table and threw it onto the chair.
This is not the end. Qiu Yi couldn't put his legs down, so he had to bend over and put a stool under the table for Qiu Yi to put his legs on. Fortunately, Qiu Yi didn't let him do it, so he moved his legs and put them on.
Bian Nan sat back on the chair. When Qiu Yi wanted to help him move his legs, he would dare to punch Qiu Yi out of the door.
"I'll have a drink of this." Qiu Yan was in a good mood to pick up the Coke.
"Drinke water when you are thirsty." Qiu Yi looked at him.
"I want to drink this..." Qiu Yan said in a low voice, and looked down at his father again.
"Let him drink some." The dad said over there.
"The teeth are going to break." Qiu Yi's tone did not loosen.
"But..." Qiu Yan lowered his eyelids and bit his lip, and did not say anything.
Bian Nan didn't want to speak out at first. It was the minimum politeness that others didn't interrupt when they disciplined their children. However, Qiu Yan's pitiful look made him feel weak and his anger towards Qiu Yi suddenly went off his feet. He couldn't help but speak: "It's not that you drink every day, but you'll get broken if you drink a cup of teeth?"
"He just drank a bottle yesterday," Qiu Yi glanced at him and continued to look at Qiu Yan, but he still said to him, "You bought it too."
"I..." Bian Nan opened his mouth and didn't say anything.
"I'll drink it in a few days," Qiu Yan got up and picked up the Coke and put it in the refrigerator, turned his head, "Is it OK?"
"Yes." Qiu Yi nodded.
Qiu Yan quickly forgot the depressedness of not drinking Coke. The joy brought to him by eating at home together exceeded Coke, and he ate very deliciously.
"Dahuzi's craftsmanship is pretty good," Qiu Yi's father said with a smile while eating, "I always kept stuffing the pot at the beginning, but now I'm very good."
Bian Nan laughed twice, buried his head in the sip of beef, and found that the salt seemed to be insufficient, which was a little light.
"Thanks to Dahuzi during this period, I would be in trouble if I didn't have his help." Qiu Yi's father said again.
"Thank you." Qiu Yi put down his chopsticks and said.
Bian Nan was burying his head for dinner. After hearing this, he put down his chopsticks and turned his head, and found that Qiu Yi was looking at him.
"It's okay." Bian Nan responded.
Qiu Yi's words were finally rare without joking and provocation, so he cooperated. After all, it was because of his casual sticks that made the whole family mess up.
The meal was not too embarrassing. Although Bian Nan felt very unhappy, Qiu Yi probably felt the same, but Qiu Yan was in a good mood and talked a lot. After slapping the meal, he kept talking nonstop. Qiu Yi stopped him several times but didn't stop him.
Bian Nan simply put the chopsticks and said that he would talk to Qiu Yan after he was full. To be honest, he wouldn't be able to eat this dish if it weren't for him.
After dinner, Qiu Yan quickly packed up the dishes and took them to the pool in the yard to wash them. Bian Nan sat in the room with awkwardness. He didn't feel uncomfortable when he had nothing to say. What he felt uncomfortable was that he had to say nothing to say in front of Qiu Yi.
After holding on for less than two minutes, he got up and walked out of the house, planning to leave after washing the dishes with Qiu Yan.
"I can wash dishes," Qiu Yan said proudly when he saw him come out, "I used to wash dishes."
"How many bowls have you learned to fall?" Bian Nan squatted beside him and chatted with Qiu Yan much more comfortable.
"I haven't fallen, I haven't fallen any!" Qiu Yan raised a bowl and shook it in front of his eyes.
"It's so irritating." Bian Nan said with a smile.
"Big Huzi," Qiu Yan lowered his head and rinsed the washed dishes, and asked in a low voice, "Will you come tomorrow?"
Bian Nan was about to stand up, but after hearing this, he stopped moving and bent over and didn't know how to answer.
"You said that if my brother can't move, then... come for a few more days..." Qiu Yan's voice was still very low, with some temptation, "Don't you want to come?"
Bian Nan didn't say anything. Yes, of course he didn't want to come. He burst into flames when he saw Qiu Yi. He admired himself for not having an attack since he saw Qiu Yi all night.
But despite this, he still didn't say what he didn't want to say. Qiu Yan was very sensitive. He would ask this sentence, and he obviously felt the tense atmosphere between him and Qiu Yi.
Children are sometimes more sensitive than adults, just like when they are very young, they can feel that even if Aunt Lin is no different from her and Bian Hao and Bian Xinyu, he is still the unpopular person in the family.
"Don't bother others so casually." Qiu Yi's voice suddenly came from behind.
Bian Nan suddenly stood up, turned his head and saw Qiu Yi standing with one leg against the door.
"No trouble," Qiu Yan looked at Bian Nan with some embarrassment, "I'm not going to bother Dahuzi..."
"You are here to cook. Isn't this a problem?" Qiu Yi's voice was not high, he was not angry, but he was very serious.
"But...but..." Qiu Yan didn't say anything again after two words, lowered his head and picked up the washed dishes and turned around and walked into the kitchen.
"Are you sick?" Bian Nan glanced at Qiu Yi and followed Qiu Yan to the kitchen.
"Don't cry." Qiu Yi added another sentence.
Bian Nan was just thinking that someone was crying for no reason. When he entered the kitchen, he found that Qiu Yan had put the bowl down and stood in front of the stove without moving.
"Second Bao," Bian Nan squatted beside him and patted his shoulder, "You..."
Before he finished speaking, he was stunned. Qiu Yan had two lines of tears on his face. He hurriedly hugged Qiu Yan and patted him on his back: "Why are you crying?"
"No crying." Qiu Yan raised his hand to wipe his tears and smiled at him.
It would be fine if Qiu Yan didn't smile, but his eyes were full of tears. A smile appeared on his face. He immediately made Bian Nanhuo stand up and turned out of the kitchen.
Qiu Yi was still leaning against the door. Bian Nan walked up to him and looked into the room. Dad Qiu had already pushed his wheelchair back to his house to watch TV.
He hugged Qiu Yi's waist and half-dragged him into the yard.
"What are you doing?" Qiu Yi stood firmly with the grape trellis and looked at him.
"I tell you Qiu Dabao, if you are sick, you offend your own," Bian Nan pressed his voice, his fingers almost poked Qiu Yi's face, "I am Qiu Yan's friend, not yours. I love it or not. You can't control it. Do you understand?"
Qiu Yi laughed and said nothing.
"Don't laugh," Bian Nan continued to point at him, "Do you really deserve a beating when you smile?"
"Oh." Qiu Yi responded, and a smile hanging on the corner of his mouth disappeared instantly. When he looked up at Bian Nan, his eyes were a little cold.
Bian Nantou looked back at the face change that could become so quick and easy. After pausing, he turned around and saw that Qiu Yan had come out of the kitchen. He walked over and touched Qiu Yan's head: "I'll come tomorrow, but it's a little later. I'll have a venue to train tomorrow afternoon."
"Really?" Qiu Yan's eyes lit up, and he turned his head and looked at Qiu Yi, "Brother?"
"Your friend, please make the decision," Qiu Yi leaned against the grape trellis and touched a cigarette and lit it, "but you can't always bother friends."
To be continued...
