Chapter 85(2/3)

"Yeah." Fang Chi responded and breathed a sigh of relief.

"I'll go home during the Chinese New Year," Sun Wenqu's voice was very gentle, which made people feel comfortable. "If you can come out, tell me, I'll pick you up."

"...Okay," Fang Chi replied for some reason why his nose suddenly became so sore that his eyes could hardly open. Tears filled his eyes instantly. He pressed his eyes, "Then I'll sleep for a while."

"Yes." Sun Wenqu came to his cell phone and kissed him.

Fang Chi also kissed the phone hard.

After hanging up the phone, he turned over, held the quilt and buried his face in.

It was almost noon that Fang Chi adjusted his emotions and walked out of the house and went downstairs.

There was no one in the living room on the first floor, and there was a sound in the kitchen. It was probably because my grandma was busy.

He wanted to go over and take a look, but after walking two steps, hesitating for a moment, he turned around and walked towards the backyard.

The boy following him shouted and ran to the front with a quick step. You can tell that grandpa was in the backyard.

"Grandpa." Fang Chi stood by the door and looked at Grandpa standing in the backyard to make the stove.

Every time he sees his grandfather's back, he feels at ease. The feeling of lying on his grandfather's back and shaking his legs and listening to him speak since he was a child is the homesickness engraved in his memory.

My grandfather's back is still straight, but he obviously has no such power as he remembers.

Grandpa is old.

Fang Chi often feels this kind of emotion, but he has never felt it as profoundly as he is now.

"It's getting up." Grandpa didn't look back.

"Well, I've been getting up for a long time, that's..." Fang Chi walked a few steps towards his grandfather, "I didn't dare to come down."

"Does your head hurt?" Grandpa asked.

"It doesn't hurt," Fang Chi touched the back of his head, "It doesn't hurt anywhere."

"Oh," Grandpa turned around and looked at him, "that seems to be a lighter blow."

"Grandpa," Fang Chi bit his lip, "I want to talk to you..., let's talk for a while, and you will hit me after the conversation, okay?"

"What do you want to talk about?" Grandpa continued to look at the stove.

Fang Chi pulled his collar, rubbed his grandfather's side and squatted down, and pushed a small stool beside him behind his grandfather's legs: "Grandpa, sit down."

"Tell me." Grandpa sighed and sat down.

"How is my grandma?" Fang Chi asked carefully.

"Not very good," Grandpa looked at him, "You also know that she has always wanted to wait to see you find a good girl to get married. She hugs her great grandson and granddaughter, and then closes her eyes. You suddenly say... you like Sun Wenqu, how can she stand it."

"Grandpa, I don't want to do this either," Fang Chi lowered his head, pulled the boy, and pinched his ears. "I... really don't want to do this, but for this matter... I really can't do anything about it."

"Can't you change it?" Grandpa asked, "Grandpa really can't figure it out. Can't this change? Why do you have to like men?"

"If this could be changed so easily, there wouldn't be so many people like me," Fang Chi frowned, "It's so difficult, grandpa, you know I have never made you angry. If I could change, I wouldn't have come to where I am today."

Grandpa was silent, picked up a new pipe from the ground, lit it and took two sips.

Fang Chi stared at the beating flames in the stove and was in a daze.

"Sun Wenqu, does he like men too?" Grandpa asked, "Do you like him? Then does he like you too?"

Fang Chi nodded without saying a word.

Grandpa sighed heavily.

"Are grandma angry at him?" Fang Chi said softly, "It's not his fault for this. I have known him before... I have always... like this, and it just happens to know him."

"Grandma wasn't really angry with him. You said such a thing," Grandpa's hand holding the pipe trembled slightly. "She always had someone to curse and vent her anger. She couldn't bear to blame her baby grandson, so she could only blame others."

Fang Chi wiped his eyes.

My emotions that were finally calm were suddenly turbulent again.

"I see you like this," Grandpa turned his head and looked at him, "I'm afraid that if we just died in front of you, you won't have any changes."

"Grandpa," Fang Chi saw the tears in his grandfather's eyes. He quickly lowered his head, reached out and grabbed his grandfather's arm, and grabbed it very hard, "Don't say that, don't say that."

"I actually don't understand what's going on," Grandpa smoked, "Grandpa really doesn't understand. So many people have found a girl to live a good life. Why is my grandson not good? Grandpa really can't figure it out for a while, what a good child, why... "

Fang Chi didn't know how to explain to his grandfather, but his parents, and even some of his classmates, might be the same. He couldn't understand and couldn't figure it out.

What's more, it's an elderly man like grandparents who have lived in the countryside all their lives.

"Grandpa," Fang Chi was silent for a long time, and raised his head, "Would you like to answer a phone call? I know an aunt who is my classmate's mother. I, like me, would you like to listen to what his mother said?"

"Your classmate is the same as you?" Grandpa was a little surprised.

"Yes," Fang Chi bit his lip, "I, the roommate in my classmate's dormitory, are two."

"So much?" Grandpa asked.

"Well," Fang Chi nodded, "I can't say a lot, but it's really a lot. Grandpa, I'm not a pervert or a bad person, I'm just..."

"Grandpa didn't say you were perverted, nor did you say you've learned bad things. Grandpa and grandma just..." Grandpa stopped and sighed, "Then let me hear what this classmate's mother said."

Fang Chi took out his cell phone with some anxiety, found Cheng Mo's mother's number, and gently clicked the dial.

The phone rang twice and was picked up. The voice of a very gentle woman came over: "Hey?"

"Is it Cheng Mo's mother?" Fang Chi asked.

"Yes, are you Fang Chi?" Cheng Mo's mother asked immediately.

"Well, auntie, I'm Fang Chi," Fang Chi was a little nervous, "Just..."

"I heard from Cheng Mo that you came out with your grandparents? He said it would take a few days, but he didn't expect it to be so soon," Cheng Mo's mother's voice was very soft, "Grandpa and grandma are very sad, right?"

"Yes," Fang Chi glanced at grandpa, "I don't know how to explain some things to my grandpa..."

"It's okay, is grandpa next to you?" Cheng Mo's mother said, "I'll talk to grandpa for a few words. Don't worry, aunt will be able to grasp the right position."

"Okay, thank you aunt, I'll give my grandfather the phone number," Fang Chi wanted to turn on the speakerphone, but was afraid that his grandfather would feel uncomfortable, so he just turned on the receiver to the maximum, and then handed over the phone, "My classmate Cheng Mo's mother, grandpa, please talk to her."

Grandpa took the phone call: "Hey?"

Fang Chi pricked up his ears and wanted to hear what Cheng Mo's mother said, but he could only vaguely hear the words "Hello, grandpa, I am Xiaochi's mother" and then he couldn't hear them clearly.

Grandpa has always been a little confused about the phone. Every time he answers the phone, he will press the earpiece tightly against his ear, for fear that he will not be able to hear the other person's voice.

"I always feel that these two people are so far away. If you don't stick to each other, you will be afraid of not hearing it." Grandpa explained with a smile before.

"Then why don't you stuff your phone into your ears!" Grandma said immediately.

Fang Chi can still remember the way his grandparents looked at that time, wanting to laugh, but also wanting to cry.

Such grandparents, now because of him, are experiencing shock, confusion, disappointment and worry that they have never imagined...

"Don't bring, bring some gifts?" Ma Liang asked, "How many bottles of good wine do I have there?"

"You think I'm going to propose marriage," said Sun Wenqu.

"Of course not, no," Ma Liang tskated, "Tit, I'm the eldest, my nephew, come here, I'm going to your sister-in-law's house to get married."

"Don't mention the past," Hu Yuanyuan waved her hand beside her, "You know this, right? How did he mention it? You know? I've told my dad in advance that this son-in-law was not good. My dad said it was okay, but my girl went to my house with a handwriting board and wrote the whole process! After that, my dad said that this man was stuttering or mute! He almost refused to marry!"

"He was nervous and he was not writing fast," Sun Wenqu was happy, "Okay, I'll leave, I'll come back tonight."

"Come back tonight?" Hu Yuanyuan was stunned, "Can you hurry?"

"If you can't hurry, stay in the town, or..." Sun Wenqu tsk, "When you go to Li Bowen's farmhouse, he will definitely bring me some delicious food and drinks with you."

"This is a piece of impotence, it's a thing that's done." Hu Yuanyuan looked contempt when she mentioned Li Bowen.

"Hey! Hey!" Ma Liang looked at her, "Su, quality."

"No, where do we get the quality? We just open a pottery studio and want to put our scrap purchase station to be seamlessly connected." Hu Yuanyuan curled her lips.

"I want to divorce, divorce." Ma Liang said with a tense face.

"Go, the agreement is in the drawer, hurry up," Hu Yuanyuan slapped him and took two boxes of American ginseng from the cabinet. "Ask the canal, don't take the wine, it's really like a proposal for marriage. Take this. It's the New Year. It's one thing for the elderly to be angry and not accept it. It's another thing for you to not take it. You still have to have etiquette."

"Okay," Sun Wenqu took it and patted Ma Liang on the shoulder, "Did you see it? Quality."

Ma Liang went out and took a walk around, and somehow drove the Cayenne over again, saying that if it was not safe to drive the night car, the small bugs would be safer.

"Honestly, did you buy this car sneakily?" Sun Wenqu got into the car.

"Really, no," Ma Liang smiled, "the front worker, industrial park, an old, boss, is familiar with it."

"Okay, I'll leave." Sun Wenqu closed the car door.

"If you have something to do, call me." Ma Liang patted the car window.

There will be no big deal in things.

Sun Wenqu knew how distressed the two old men were. This was also the reason why Fang Chi chose to come out with them first. Grandma might be more intense, and grandpa would be calmer.

But how sad they would be, Sun Wenqu didn't dare to think about it carefully.

And how uncomfortable Fang Chi would be... His hoarse voice overnight said it all.

This is the fastest time Sun Wenqu drives, and he overtakes almost the whole time. At this speed, he hasn't passed for many years.
To be continued...
