Chapter 1 The first shock(2/2)

At dawn, the train finally arrived in Lhasa.

Lin Qian got up early and washed her face and packed her luggage. Outside was a bright and narrow walkway, with soldiers standing at the end. Where was the figure of the major?

She thought for a while, picked up paper and pen from her bag, left her mobile phone number, and wrote: "I think we may not see each other again in the future. But if you have the chance to come to Lin City in the future, please call me. I will be a very good tour guide and friend - Lin Qian."

——

Lin Qian bought the earliest air ticket. In the evening, she arrived in Lin City and took a taxi to her destination.

At the end of the straight road, you can see a vast industrial park from afar. Several neat white high-rise buildings are beautiful and fashionable. The four gilded characters "Ida Group" at the door are particularly eye-catching.

Lin Qian asked the driver to park his car in front of a residential building hundreds of meters away from the group.

The house was rented a month ago. After entering the house, she threw her suitcase on the ground and fell directly into the bed.

After lying for a while, she felt relieved, and then she looked down at her phone. As expected, no new text messages or phone calls came in.

Speaking of which, this is the first time she took the initiative to leave a phone number for a man. It was such a failure.

She stood up with a smile and opened the curtains. The golden light of the sunset jumped in, and the buildings, factories and the green fields behind the factories were bathed in the boundless sunshine.

Lin Qian took a deep breath and her mood became particularly good.

She thought, this was a wonderful beginning: a warm encounter that passed by millions of people, a prosperous and beautiful hometown, and a new career journey that she was about to begin.

——

The entrance to the expressway to Lin City.

Rows of military trucks were parked, about to transport veterans back to their hometowns.

Several officers were talking in a low voice. Just as they were about to step onto a jeep, a soldier ran over panting. He ran to the middle officer and stood firmly, saluted neatly, and then said, "Major Li, I finally found you. I packed up your train box at noon and found this." He handed a note with a phone number and a few lines of words to the man.

The man called "Major Li" took it with a expressionless face and looked at it.

"No need to give it to me." A cool and calm voice.

He did not hide his cover when he looked at the paper. Although the two officers on both sides stood upright and waited, their eyes naturally glanced at the paper.

As a result, one of them couldn't help but say, "Lin Qian...is the girl who hitched the bike in danger? I saw it this morning, it's pretty. Isn't your home in Lin City? Why don't you save someone's number?"

Everyone around was staring at Major Li.

But he lowered his hat brim again, raised his collar, and was the first to step onto the Jeep.
