Chapter 7 Going up the mountain to learn art

"The alien demon has appeared. The old lady is still unwilling to move back to the village. She is so confused that she can't figure things out. Be careful. If you want to go down the mountain, send a letter in advance and I'll ask someone to pick you up."

Xi Qiaolan Xu was angry with the old lady Siyan. Yesterday, she mentioned that Mrs. Siyan still had some respect, but today she was full of resentment.

Xi Huanyan wisely did not participate in the conflicts among elders, but only responded to the saying "Hello".

Xi Gaolan talked about the past about how Mrs. Maggie Yan treated her father, just as she almost said that her mother was asking her for suffering.

The mountain road was rugged and very boring. Xi Huanyan took the words of this clan as a relief. He stopped talking until the clan halfway up the mountain. Not long after, the grass and trees became sparse, and a small path led directly to a flat floor, connecting to the cave on the mountain wall.

A skinny old man sat in the shadow of the cave entrance. His face just gave people a sense of meanness and gloom. If you don’t look carefully, you might think that a wolve is squatting in a twilight years.

Xi Gaolan did not approach and shouted a distance of one or two meters, "Auntie Shiyan, I have brought you the person."

She received no response, touched her face awkwardly, gave Xi Huanyan a few instructions, and hurried down the mountain.

Xi Huanyan was also a little embarrassed, but she still strode to the edge of the cave entrance and bent down to bow, "Junior Xi Huanyan has seen the grandmother."

Then she felt a gaze, sharp, complex, heavy, and breathless.

But Xi Huanyan didn't feel the malice, and immediately let go of her heart. As long as there is no danger and a bad attitude is not a problem.

The gaze was quickly withdrawn. The old lady didn't say anything and carved the objects in her hand.

It was an oval wooden egg with only two marks on it, but Xi Huanyan seemed to see an eagle flapping its wings and about to fly!

She was caught in her mind in an instant, and this feeling was particularly magical and indescribable. She felt that she could do nothing and watch the old lady carve it for a day!

Xi Huanyan did drag her cheeks to watch the old lady carve for a day. When it was dark, the old lady packed up her things and went into the cave without looking back.

The cave was very narrow and dark, and she turned a corner and disappeared.

Xi Huanyan felt that she had not received the approval from her owner, so she couldn't follow in rashly, so she took out the candlestick from the bag, lit the fire, and began to peel the cube wooden strips she brought, intending to grind out an oval first, and then learn from the old lady's technique to carve.

That night she had an excellent dream, a mighty eagle flew over her head, and the winged wind brought her hair, making her feel very cool.

As a result, she opened her eyes and saw the old lady staring at her sinisterly, which scared her to fall off the stool.

Two rough and grinding pronunciations appeared in the old lady's throat, "Haha."

Following her eyes, Xi Huanyan saw the ugly eagle in her hand and said aggrievedly, "My father has never taught me craftsmanship, and you don't teach me. It's pretty good if I can figure it out myself."

The old lady's eyes faded, she looked at her with a slightly thoughtful look, and turned back to the cave.

Xi Huanyan put away her work, took out a pancake and ate it. Suddenly, she regretted lending the black dog to her mother to catch the demon, otherwise it would help her catch a pheasant back.

Halfway through the meal, the old lady came out again, threw away something and threw it on the ground in front of her. She glanced at the pictures and words on the pages. She was excited and handed out the cake in her hand, "Can you eat it?"

The old lady glanced at her, held her hands behind her back, and entered the cave without looking back.

Xi Huanyan held the cake in her mouth, wiped her hands, picked up the book, and looked carefully. The book recorded the origin, uses, and identification methods of various trees. There were more than 10,000 directories, and some of them were marked. Looking at the notes behind, they all grew near the village.

She endured her eagerness to try, turned back to the first page, memorized it carefully, and when she was thirsty and hungry, she picked some wild fruits nearby and drank some mountain spring water.

On the seventh day, she breathed a lot of relief, raised the corner of her mouth, recited more than 200,000 words into the cave, and finally shouted, "Grandma, I'll go to inspect the field, don't worry about me!"

Xi Huanyan couldn't wait to drill into the woods.

Even though her father had never taught her, she had become familiar with a lot of knowledge about wood and ore after long-term hearing. However, it was the first time she had come into contact with such a systematic introduction, and she wanted to touch every kind of grass and trees and get to know each other well again.

Suddenly the wind blew the leaves and something hit her head.

She stopped, looked back towards the cave, and looked at the ground again. It was a log of chopsticks as thick as a polished chopstick. She picked it up and identified it for a while. It must have been made of red shirt wood.

Is this asking her to find this kind of material?

Xi Huanyan knew where the red shirt wood grew. When she went to find the red shirt wood, she could record the tree species she encountered. But now she had to find some hot vegetables and hot rice to eat.

Lingling Mountain is actually right behind her house. In the past, she often dug wild vegetables and picked up mushrooms near the foot of the mountain, and occasionally set up some traps. If she is lucky, she can get a hare pheasant.

These days, the rain is enough and the temperature is high. After walking a few steps, she saw a bunch of pine mushrooms growing under several pine trees. She was not greedy, so she picked some and put them in a basket that was temporarily woven with vines, speeding up her journey. When she reached the familiar foot of the mountain, she went to several places with many mushrooms and wild vegetables in her memory.

There was a sudden laugh in the forest. Through some trees, she saw several older children and children digging wild vegetables on the ground. There was smoke not far away. It was a sentry set up by the patrol team.

She looked at her and saw that she had no mother and walked in the other direction, not competing with them for a piece of wild vegetables on the ground.

After picking up a basket of mushrooms one after another, Xi Huanyan came to a stream, pinched a stone and stood there, quietly observing the swimming fish under the clear water.

After a while, there were chaotic footsteps behind her. She thought that the fellow villager she had just met came to dig wild vegetables, so she didn't look back.

Suddenly, several stones fell on her body, and one of the sharp stones hit her shoulder blades, which made people feel excited. She became angry and turned around and asked, "What are you doing!"

There are not many children in the village, and even if she doesn't play with them often, she will not be unfamiliar with them. One of the girls with braids is from her next door.

She was thrown away for no reason, but the people who threw away the stone seemed to be frightened, squeezed together, took several steps, and then scattered.

Although Xi Huanyan was a soft and innocent little baby in front of her mother, she actually had a bad temper. How could she tolerate herself being so angry?

She leaned over and grabbed a handful of fine stones, raised her hand, and the stones were like eyes, roaring through the air and smashing the seven or eight children to the ground, making people scream in pain.

"what you do!"
