0033 Private room

After the branch ceremony, there was a happy dinner. It can be said that except for Eve, who was full of resentment, everyone had a very happy meal.

Eve stared at August who was sitting with her sister Irene and chatting. She took out her handkerchief from her pocket and bit it viciously. At the same time, she made a secret decision in her heart: "Damn August, I must make you look good!"

After the dinner, all the new students followed the senior back to the dormitory where their college was located.

As mentioned earlier, Hogwarts is a full-time boarding school, and there are very strict regulations on the work and schedule and activity areas of students.

If students fail to comply with these regulations, credits from their college will be deducted once discovered.

The credits of each college are shared by all students in the college and symbolize the honor of the entire college.

Once the college is deducted credits due to the students' personal reasons, the student will be dissatisfied by the students of the entire college.

This scoring mechanism can bring much more psychological pressure to students who make mistakes than various personal punishments.

Therefore, when it was time to rest in the evening, almost no student wandered around and all returned to their dormitories honestly.

August originally wanted to return to the dormitory with several of his roommates, but Professor Snape, the dean of Slytherin College, stopped him.

Professor Snape's full name is Severus Snape. He looks about thirty-five years old. He is a male wizard with a slightly fat figure.

His face was slightly pale, his slightly long black hair was a little curly, and his middle-parted hairstyle exposed his forehead.

He was wearing a dark purple wizard robe, and his face was very serious, and his whole body exuded a cold breath like an indelible cube of ice.

Among all the professors in Hogwarts, Snape should be the one the students fear the most.

Snape is currently teaching potions, but he has always wanted to be a lecturer in the Dark Magic Defense class.

Unfortunately, this year, principal Dumbledore introduced a wizard from outside the school to get the position of instructor of the Black Magic Defense Class, which made Snape feel very bad recently, making him, who originally looked like he had a "no-non-in" temperament, even more fearful to the students.

Snape slowly walked to August, and the other students who were originally standing next to August looked down like mice and took a step back when they saw Snape.

However, August was not afraid of Snape at all. The other party occasionally went to Malfoy Manor to talk about magic with himself.

Although I have not reached the level of being close friends, my relationship with the other party is still relatively harmonious.

"August and I come over and the others will go back to the dormitory to rest immediately. If I find someone dares to violate the rules, my newly made potion will be short of a volunteer for the experiment." Snape said slowly.

Hearing Snape's words, the other students gave August a look of "You're good at it" and then left cleanly, as if they would have killed their lives for a moment.

After everyone left, August followed Snape to a remote corner of the school.

Snape walked ahead and led the way, while August was about two steps behind him.

"Professor Snape, you are really strict with your students." August said with a smile.

Snape said slowly: "Fear is not the best management method, but it is definitely the least energy-consuming and most effective management method."

August nodded without comment and said, "As you said, it is true, as a wizard who needs to explore the ocean of magical knowledge, you should indeed devote your limited energy to truly valuable places."

Hearing August's words, Snape snorted coldly, "You know I'm the main focus of the defense of black magic, and potions are just a hobby."

Speaking of this, Snape suddenly turned around and looked at August, then frowned and said, "I heard your father say that it's enough for you to sleep almost one or two hours a day. Do you really have no special secret recipe? I remember you had to sleep for three or four hours a day before."

August smiled and said, "Sorry, there is no secret recipe. Maybe I'm born like this!"

Some time ago, August absorbed Voldemort's soul in his diary, and his soul power grew a lot and his energy became more intense.

But all this is related to Voldemort, a sensitive character, and no one except himself and Lucius knew about it.

Snape did not continue to ask about this and soon took August to a room in a remote space.

The interior of this room is covered with dust, and it seems that no one has used it for a long time.

There was only one table, two chairs, and a bookshelf filled with old books.

"August, this room belongs to you. But you have to know that this is the greatest privilege I have fought for you." Snape said to August.

August said with a sincere expression: "Thank you very much for your help, so that some of the magic research I am doing can continue."

August himself often had to do some magic experiments, and he also spent time performing magic inscribed on the Book of Truth every day, which required a private space to perform.

After taking a look at the dirty room environment, August raised his hand and snapped his fingers, and then the colorful magic elements formed a set of cleaning tools to automatically start cleaning the room.

A hint of admiration flashed in Snape's eyes, but the expression on his face still looked like everyone owed him money and didn't pay it back.

"Your magic control ability has improved again. You are indeed a genius that is rare in a century." Snape said to August.

August smiled and said, "The genius should be called a genius, but more of it is hard work."

Snape nodded after hearing this. He knew that August was a wizard with talent and diligence, which was also an important reason why he regarded August as a wizard who could communicate equally.

He took out a key from his arms and handed it to August: "This is the key to this room. No one else can enter the room except for a spare one in my place."

When August was about to take the key from Snape, Snape suddenly shrank his hand back, then looked at August with a deep look and said, "The right to use this house is not easy. I think you should understand that some strange experiments are best not to be carried out here, right?"

Obviously Snape was worried that August had done some magic experiments, which led to some adverse consequences.

August smiled and said, "Professor Snape, don't you believe me?"

As August said, he was the most sensible young man Snape had ever seen, and it was easier and easier to communicate with him than to many adult wizards.
