83 No Secrets (Remastered)

Watching the crowned stag flag stuck on the top of the city, Charles felt a little tooth pain.

The flag alone can't tell anything, because Stannis used it basically the same as his younger brother Lanli, but no one could ignore it if he matched the soldiers' outfits on the city wall.

Blue and green whirlpool flag, sun and moon flag, rose flag...

Although Charles is not familiar with the vassal family of Lanli, he is familiar with the lords and vassals of Dragonstone Island in Stannis. Obviously, the people who occupy the Red Fort are no longer those who used to be.

So, the wildfire burst is about tonight?

He looked up at the sky, and the green light under the dark sky was particularly eye-catching. Charles couldn't help but flashed another thought.

"Find those wildfires?"

"But, where to look?"

He couldn't help but look down at the scepter, but no matter how he experimented, the scepter could not become a guide to the way.

No response.

"So you are not God, or, rather, you are not the kind of omnipotent."

While sighing secretly, Charles turned his head and looked at the King's Landing City below the Red Fort, and felt a little worried for a moment.

In this state, he didn't seem to be worried about being burned to death by wildfires, and those who live in this city...

Maybe after feeling Charle's retreating mentality, the scepter in his hand suddenly trembled again, accompanied by a familiar sense of responsibility.

"Find a way to save them."

"Yes, I have to find a way!"

"Save people!"

"You can't let the tragedy happen!"

“…”

He was inexplicably impulsive and made him desperate to do something, but Charles endured this feeling.

Looking down at the scepter, he wanted to throw this thing out just so as not to disturb his mind, but he was afraid that he would not be able to maintain the current situation after throwing it away, so he gritted his teeth and said, "If I have a way, I will watch it here? If you really have the ability to think, then find a way to go."

So the scepter trembled and stopped.

Shire has basically confirmed that this thing is something similar to "artifact spirit", or spirituality.

It has a low IQ, has the ability to think simply, and can understand words, but its thoughts are not mature, like a child of four or five years old, or more like a special creature who succumbs to instinct.

And what is its instinct?

Save lives and help the wounded? Do good deeds in good faith? Spread faith?...

Shire is a little confused, but in short, this thing is sometimes quite annoying, especially when it can affect your mind.

Staring at it and thinking about it, Charles suddenly said, "If you can understand me, then we have three choices now."

"First, find those wildfires and make them invalid. Or kill those who are about to ignite the wildfire."

"Second, let everyone in this city know about this, and then let them escape from the city as soon as possible."

"Third." As he said that, Charles grabbed two pieces of paper full of secret text and signaled him.

"Let this thing take effect and take effect on a wide range of scale."

After his voice fell, the scepter did not respond, and Charles was slightly disappointed.

Just as he was about to rely on himself to find clues to hidden wildfires, the paper in his hand suddenly escaped and floated onto the crystal on the top of the scepter. Then Charle saw the paper burning spontaneously without fire, and all the words fell off on the crystal ball.

Here, the originally clear crystal now looked like it was covered with a layer of black paste, or it seemed to be covered with honey, which attracted a group of ants.

The colorful light then bloomed out of the crystal ball and began to spread the entire scepter. Not long after, the black text that originally covered the crystal ball rotated and fell off, and eventually turned into a special "chain" wrapped around the entire scepter.

The black chain exists based on the colorful light, but does not stick to the wooden stick body, but instead lingers around the stick like floating.

A feeling of urgency appeared in his heart, and Charles faintly realized that this might be some signal of this thing.

So he turned to look at the Red Fort, intending to experiment. However, after a few glances, he stepped away from here instead.

Everything you do is different from closeness and alienation. Now let’s make sure that the people you know are safe first.

He has never seen the group of people in the Red Castle. Who cares about him going to die?

Thinking of this, when he came to the depths of the flea nest, the sky was completely dark. After stepping into the house and looking at the quiet bedroom, Charles no longer hesitated. According to his instinct in his heart, he then held the scepter on the ground!

There was no sound, but the colorful light wrapped in the scepter began to gradually become shallow. At the same time, black "chains" rolled from the intersection of the bottom of the scepter and the ground, and climbed in all directions, like a group of black snakes spreading across the ground, climbing across the ground, climbing across the windows, climbing over the walls, climbing over the roof...

This "behavior" was not stopped until the house was completely covered.

Charles then looked down at the scepter. The black "chain" was still entangled, but the colorful light that should have been vigorous looked much dimmed at this time, which made him realize something.

"Is this consuming some kind of power of it?"

Thinking of this, Charles decided that this thing should be used less, and at the same time, another idea flashed away.

It cannot save everyone.

Shir mourned silently, and then he appeared one after another in Flour Street, Harbor, Steel Street, and Silent Sisters Street...

He did not dare to let the scepter cover the entire area, as it would only waste out of thin air, so he specialized in selecting places with very dense personnel, and the rest could only give up helplessly.

Black "snake groups" spread one after another, and the sleeping people were not aware of this at all, and some awake people seemed to ignore it.

These secret texts should be carried by the so-called elemental crystal, otherwise they would not take effect. However, under the influence of this special force, they turned into "chains" after chain. Shire was not sure whether these could be effective, but it seemed that there was only one way.

But the price is some unique power it has accumulated during this period, or in other words, what Charles has accumulated.

With more and more "blockades", the originally dazzling light of the scepter in his hand became weaker and weaker. When he left a shack near the Lanmud Gate, the light was already dim and almost extinguished.

“The last place.”

This thought flashed through him, and he couldn't help looking in the direction of Red Fort.

Coincidentally, a faint sound of prayer appeared from the Red Fort and gradually expanded as Charles watched.

"Okay, that's you."

He made a decision, and the golden flame ignited and appeared again. There was already a noisy banquet hall around him.

He looked at the girl in front of him who was muttering with her eyes closed in prayer. The rose and deer crown on her head made Charles think.

Then he ignored it and walked around the banquet hall. The laughing nobles around him ignored Charles' existence.

A king with black hair, a knight with brown hair, and a large number of nobles with well-dressed appearances.

This seemed to be a celebration banquet.

Celebrating the capture of that iron chair?

Unfortunately, they never imagined what fate they would encounter next.

The lady was scattering her eyebrows and eyes, the middle-aged nobles and middle-aged nobles were talking in a low voice, the busy figures of servants who served dishes one after another, and the strange breathing sounds faintly in remote places.

Nothing can escape Shire's ears, and all the secrets are not guarded against him, which makes Shire suddenly feel that it is time to change the place.

What's the point of saving these people?

However, before Charles could really regret it, an explosion sounded outside the hall.
