Chapter 5 Nezuko

In the early morning when the sky is slightly cloudy, the sun that can dispel darkness has not yet risen.

Tanjiro said goodbye to the old man, carried the bamboo building and ran towards his home on the mountain.

For some reason, he felt anxious to return home.

Last night, he dreamed of Aoi and Hanako.

Aoi's face was as gentle as ever, Hanako and her three younger brothers all looked at Tanjiro with a smile.

The others didn't say anything, and Aoira said to Tanjiro as soft as a feathered voice: "Tanjiro...Tanjiro...Mother and Hanako are going to leave you and go to a new world without sorrow and troubles."

"Don't be sad, nor sad. You can live happily, what we want to see."

"Goodbye...Tanjiro..."

After saying that, Aoi, with a few other children, turned around and left in the endless white light.

An inexplicable sadness came, and Tanjiro had the urge to cry.

"Don't leave..."

He ran hard in the direction where Aoi Chi left, stretching out his arms to reach the corner of his clothes that were floating towards Aoi Chi.

But no matter how hard Tanjiro tried, he could not catch up with Aoi until he was exhausted.

I could only watch Kuizhi and others disappear into the white light.

"Ah, don't leave!"

Tanjiro suddenly woke up from his sleep, and after reacting, he was glad that it turned out that this was just a dream.

He really couldn't imagine what their life would be like without Aoizhi.

After leaving the sadness in the dream, Tanjiro felt his cheeks wet and he touched them strangely.

I found that at some point, I had shed two lines of tears.

Looking from the window, it was still dark outside, but the wind and snow were a little lighter, so I could move.

Tanjiro quietly took a handful of snow from the window ridge, then wiped his face with the snow, and felt a little more energetic.

Then he lightly put on his outer jacket and put on a bamboo basket on his back to leave.

Tanjiro didn't want to disturb the old man's sleep, so he just left with slightest steps. He left a note and the old man would see it when he woke up.

However, when the door was secretly opened, the disrepaired wooden door made a creaking and harsh friction sound.

Tanjiro was shocked, the old man must have been awakened.

Sure enough, the old man woke up and saw Tanjiro who had packed his luggage and stayed at the door.

The old man beat Hache and asked, "Does Tanjiro want to go home? It's still dark now, so I'll leave before dawn?"

"Before the sun rises, there are people-eating ghosts appearing."

Tanjiro touched his head embarrassedly: "I don't know what's going on, but I feel empty and I'm a little worried about my family's safety, so I want to go back quickly."

The old man expressed his understanding: "So that's the case. Tanjiro doesn't have to care about me, hurry up and go back."

"Many people don't believe it, but I can be sure that there is an inexplicable connection between relatives. Even if they are thousands of miles apart, they will occasionally feel it on a whim."

Hearing this, Tanjiro was even more worried. Could something really happened to Aoi and the others? That's why he had such a dream.

When the old man said this, he seemed to remember something, and the old man suddenly sighed.

"Oh, when my son was having an accident outside, I had nightmares several days in advance. If I could react earlier, I might be able to stop everything."

"Tanjiro, go quickly. Only relatives are the most important in a person's life."

Tanjiro responded quickly. Although he was very anxious, he still closed the door of the old man indifferently after going out.

When he noticed Tanjiro's actions, the old man smiled knowingly in the house: "A child with such a gentle and kindness, fate will definitely treat him well."

However, fate does not treat good people well.

On the contrary, fate always likes to push people to the point where they are at the end of their lives, and then watch the person struggle to survive in despair, and enjoy it.

After a while, Tanjiro had already jogged to the middle of the mountain, and it was already close to home.

However, Tanjiro's nose trembled slightly and he smelled a scent.

"This seems to smell of blood?"

Suppressing the uneasiness in his heart, Tanjiro accelerated his pace, hoping that his guess was wrong.

In the snow, a small figure was staggering against the wind and facing the snow, staggering on the white snow, running like a life-loss.

Along the way, the smell of blood became stronger and stronger, and some fishy smell was already lingering in the nose.

Tanjiro was reluctant to believe it, but his past experience told him that the smell of blood came from his home.

"Nezuko, Hanako...Ruta, you must not have something wrong."

With a hint of luck in mind, Tanjiro ran in panic.

Until he saw his home with his own eyes, the warm wooden house that resisted the cold for them in the wind and snow, the door panels had now broken into scattered pieces of wood, and blood was vaguely visible on the snow...

Because of his urgency, Tanjiro tripped over the stone and fell on the snow.

Not caring about the pain on his body, Tanjiro rolled and crawled into the house.

But the bloody scene I saw in front of me was like a sharp knife, slashing the entire world of Tanjiro.

"Ah! Ah! Ah!"

"Mother, Nezuko, Hanako, Takeo, Shiroshi, Ryuta..."

Tanjiro held back his tears and checked them one by one, and found that the six people in front of him were gone.

He knelt on the ground like a collapse, and tears burst out from his eyes. Under the huge sorrow and pain, his heart seemed to be blown up, making Tanjiro breathless.

Just as Tanjiro was about to feel sad and painful and fainted, he suddenly saw Nezuko's shoulders trembled slightly.

"Nezuko!"

As if he saw the light in the darkness and grabbed the life-saving straw, Tanjiro held Nezuko in his arms regardless of Nezuko's blood-stained clothes.

"Nezuko, that's great. Brother will definitely save you and hold on."

There was no time. I almost thought Nezuko was dead just now. She must be too seriously injured, but she still has the possibility of survival.

"Mother...and my younger brothers and sisters, I'll go and save Nezuko first. You guys are waiting for me to come back."

Time is tight, Tanjiro only plans to take Nezuko down the mountain to find a doctor, and then come back to clean up the remains of his relatives.

At this time, Tanjiro found a line of words on the wall from the corner of his eyes. The words were in a hurry and messy manner, but Tanjiro could still tell that this was the handwriting of his brother's brother's sword when the stove door flowed.

"Tanjiro, don't feel desperate. You must live, live, wait for me to come to you."

It turns out that Brother Chuan Liushi is still alive, but why did he abandon everyone and leave?

Because he was too worried about Nezuko's injury, Tanjiro no longer thought about this and temporarily left it behind.

He just wanted to take Nezuko to see a doctor as soon as possible.

After reluctantly looking at the bodies of others, Tanjiro carried Nezuko and snatched out of the door.

He ran to the mountain desperately regardless of his physical exhaustion.
