62. Chapter 62(2/3)
"It's okay, or you can hold the wood for me and I can see it." Cheng Ke said.
"...You can?" Jiang Yuduo asked.
"No," said Cheng Ke, "Just give it a try."
"Then I'll do it." Jiang Yuduo turned around and went to the next door to get the tools.
Cheng Ke looked at the pile of things in front of him and was stunned for a while. He was still confused about what had just happened and couldn't figure it out, but Jiang Yuduo obviously didn't take it too seriously.
This kind of situation that doesn't care too much is not a state that doesn't care about the indifferent state, but a state that is confident and able to cope with, which is completely different from the tension when facing "them".
If he really responds to reality and illusion, then he will treat it differently according to Jiang Yuduo's performance.
But……
Cheng Ke frowned and suddenly wanted to meet the psychologist.
If there is such a person.
Jiang Yuduo took the tool over and put it on the ground: "I looked at it and it felt like there should be no problem."
"Okay, I'll draw it for you." Cheng Ke nodded, took chalk and drew the shape of the cement mold for Jiang Yuduo on the ground, and then marked the size.
"Isn't this the dish that canteen steamed rice?" Jiang Yuduo said, "You can just buy that kind of dish in."
"...That's not big enough." Cheng Ke said.
"Oh." Jiang Yuduo nodded, "Okay."
Although Jiang Yuduo had never used a chainsaw or had never been exposed to these tasks, he still had a very strong hands-on ability. He sawed it very standard when he picked up the board.
"It's not difficult," he tsk, "I can do carpenters now."
Cheng Ke smiled and said nothing.
"What do you think of doing carpenters?" Jiang Yuduo turned his head to look at him.
"It's pretty good," Cheng Ke nodded, "A carpenter master who has good skills has to queue up if he wants to ask."
"Is that right?" Jiang Yuduo stared at the board with a chainsaw. After a while, he turned his head again, "There is a carpenter living in a rental house, but the level is probably not very good, otherwise he wouldn't have rented a house there."
Cheng Ke looked at him and after a few seconds he suddenly realized: "Don't you really want to do carpentry, do you?"
"I don't know," Jiang Yuduo closed the chainsaw, turned around and sat on the wooden board, frowned, "I'm...Do you think I'm..."
"Haven't you been helping Lu Qian with things?" Cheng Ke asked.
"Well, it's almost the same. If there is anything wrong with her brand house and rental house, she will ask me to go," said Jiang Yuduo. "I'll give me money in one month or two."
"There is little money?" Cheng Ke asked again.
"There are quite a lot," Jiang Yuduo rubbed his nose, "But... will I keep doing this in the future? Lu Qian should want to help me. She asked someone else to do these things, so there is no need for so much money."
"Why did you suddenly think of this?" Cheng Ke sat next to him and next to him.
"It's not sudden," Jiang Yuduo thought for a while, "I don't know, I don't have much skills. When I saw the wood... it was suddenly, I can't explain it clearly."
"You want to learn something or do something, right?" Cheng Ke asked.
"Well," Jiang Yuduo nodded, "My...the psychologist asked me, after I get it, I can't tell you what plans I have. Anyway... I have to have a plan, right?"
"Yes, but don't worry," said Cheng Ke, "Take it slowly, you can discuss it with me."
Jiang Yuduo turned his head and looked at him.
Cheng Ke smiled.
"Smile." Jiang Yuduo said.
"Your psychologist," Cheng Ke tried to ask, "Is it a man or a woman?"
"Female," Jiang Yuduo frowned and looked at him, "a big sister."
"What's the name?" Cheng Ke asked again.
A trace of hesitation flashed in Jiang Yudu's eyes and he didn't say anything.
"Forget it," Cheng Ke stopped quickly, "I..."
"You're not jealous, are you?" Jiang Yuduo asked suddenly.
Cheng Ke choked and glared at him: "What did you say?"
"She is over forty," said Jiang Yuduo, "all the children are in high school."
"What... I'm not jealous!" Cheng Ke shouted, feeling that his voice changed a little.
Jiang Yuduo didn't say anything and looked over the stairs.
Then Cheng Ke heard someone going upstairs and was about to ask who it was, someone spoke on the other side of the stairs: "Brother Cheng! Third Brother!"
It's Lin Xu's voice.
Lin Xu was on the stairs, and these two shouts were quite loud, as if he wanted to announce his arrival in advance.
When Cheng Ke heard this tone, he instantly realized that Lin Xu had heard the sound he had just heard.
"Has the things been shipped?" Cheng Ke quickly stood up.
"Yes," Lin Xu walked up the stairs, with a little embarrassed face, and smiled at them, "The car is outside, there are three cars installed, and two cars will arrive soon."
"Then..." Cheng Ke was also a little embarrassed, "Move now?"
"It's moving," said Lin Xu, "the worker said you're upstairs, and I want to tell you to see where they are put."
"I'll go down right away." Cheng Ke said.
"Okay." Lin Xu nodded, smiled at Jiang Yu again, turned around and walked downstairs quickly.
"I'll go down and take a look first," said Cheng Ke, "you..."
"I saw the wooden board," Jiang Yuduo picked up the chainsaw, "It's quite fun."
"Yes." Cheng Ke patted his shoulder.
As he walked towards the stairs, Jiang Yuduo said again behind him: "You said that day..."
"What?" Cheng Ke turned around.
"You said you wanted to tell Lin Xu..." Jiang Yuduo thought about it and stepped on the wooden board, "Nothing."
Cheng Ke was stunned for a while before he remembered it and suddenly wanted to laugh.
He walked to Jiang Yuduo and bent down to his ear: "No need to say, he already knows."
Jiang Yuduo suddenly turned his head: "What do he know? How do you know?"
"This kind of thing," Cheng Ke sighed, "There are really not many people as dull as you."
All afternoon, Cheng Ke and Lin Xu were busy, putting all the tables, chairs and cabinets in the designed location, and the store suddenly looked much complete.
After finishing his work, Lin Xu was not too busy, saying that he had to pay the bill and left with the truck that was pulling the goods.
Cheng Ke took a look at the time. For several hours, Jiang Yuduo was on the terrace upstairs and felt that he had never appeared.
He quickly went upstairs and shouted, "Jiang Yuduo?"
"Oh." Jiang Yuduo responded happily.
Cheng Ke breathed a sigh of relief. Jiang Yuduo seemed to be feeling unhappy when Lin Xu came here this time.
"How is it?" Cheng Ke walked over and was surprised to find that Jiang Yuduo had sawed all the anticorrosion wooden boards used for the benches, and even nailed them. "It's amazing? Didn't I tell you what to do, right?"
"Don't you have drawings there?" Jiang Yuduo pointed to the few design drawings he placed next to him, "I just did it according to that, right?"
"That's right." Cheng Ke said.
"How is it!" Jiang Yuduo kicked the board with some smugness and turned to look at him.
"Awesome." Cheng Ke smiled.
"I'll forget it, there's more wood," said Jiang Yuduo, "and I can make some more things."
"What are you doing?" Cheng Ke leaned against the wall. He liked Jiang Yuduo's current state. He was not nervous, wary, or melancholy, just like a fool in his early twenties.
"I saw a lamp in the mall that day. It was a wood nailed with a big round lamp in the middle," said Jiang Yuduo. "There are many round holes in the wood. When you turn on the lamp, you can shine with many round spots of light."
"Yes." Cheng Ke nodded.
"I just want to buy that for you as a birthday gift. Are you an artist," said Jiang Yuduo, "That's quite artistic..."
"Third Brother." Cheng Ke interrupted him.
"What are you doing?" Jiang Yuduo looked at him.
"What are you doing? What else can you do! You fuckingly said the surprise was gone!" Cheng Ke glared at him, "I said don't tell me what you are giving me!"
"Ah." Jiang Yuduo was stunned.
"Ah, your uncle?" Cheng Ke said.
"Ah no," Jiang Yuduo thought for a while and quickly comforted him, "It's okay, I don't plan to give you that lamp now, I won't give it to you."
"…Oh." Cheng Ke looked at him.
To be continued...
