Chapter 72: Cultivating the Heart

What is practice?

Strictly speaking, worldly practice is the training of individual qi, body, mind and spirit.

All methods of practice are just different ways and summary explored by predecessors. These ways seem to be hugely different or confront each other. In essence, they are just different inclinations, and there are not many differences in essence. They all originate from the exploration of the world and the truth. Of course, only those with extremely profound realms can touch this essence. Most people who practice like Yuan Qingwei are still constantly pondering in the qi, body, mind, and spirit.

At this point, Yuan Qingwei, who has three world heritages, has deep feelings.

The methods of practice in the main world are mostly based on the spiritual world, while the methods of practice in the martial arts world are almost based on oneself, while the methods of practice in the immortal and god world are based on vitality.

The most perfect one is the main world's practice system.

The spiritual energy of the psychic world, which has no idea of its origin, is very plasticity, whether it is the immortal and god system under the barrier of the Eastern Nine Continents, the faith magic system under the Western Glorious Faith, or the ancient magic shaman system, or Yuan Qingwei has only heard of it, and has never really come into contact with the technological superpower system founded by a certain federal government.

These systems are based on the spiritual world, and the differences between them are all intricate.

In comparison, the difference between the practice system in the martial arts world and the practice system in the immortals and gods world is not that big.

Although the two are very different from the beginning of their practice.

The path of the martial arts world is essentially a battle. The true qi, energy, artistic conception and other purposes cultivated are more or less the meaning of battle. Therefore, the more the path of the martial arts world goes to the back, the more the true qi of cultivation will be marked with a strong personal will.

The main purpose of the path to the world of immortals and gods is to live forever, be happy to live and get tired of death. The ability to practice is usually lively and does not have a strong mark of personal will, and is more suitable for fusion of the essence of heaven and earth.

But the paths of the two follow the system of refining essence into qi, refining qi into spirit, and refining spirit into emptiness. From the perspective of the core concept of cultivation, there is not much difference.

Of course, all these theories and judgments are just Yuan Qingwei's personal insights, and only represent Yuan Qingwei's exploration of the martial arts world practice system and the immortal and god world practice system. If the immortal and god system and warrior system in the main world are added, it will become more complicated.

At the same time, according to Yuan Qingwei's observation, no matter which system, it is more or less involved in the spiritual practice.

At this point, the one who goes the farthest is the world of immortals and gods, because there is a saying that the mind of establishing the Tao is there.

The so-called establishing the mind of Tao is the mind of seeking the Tao, the mind of immortality, and the mind of immortality.

The road to immortality is long and the cycle of reincarnation is endless forever.

The most taboo thing in the practice of immortality is death. Death is regarded as the greatest disaster in the process of practice, and in the inheritance left by the Taoist Master of Duwu. I don’t know how many people who have achieved success in their cultivation have been able to withstand the erosion of the years, and have the ability to reach the heavens, and in the end they will still move towards the path of self-destruction.

Therefore, in the world of immortals and gods, many monks who have achieved success in their cultivation like to travel around the world very much, in order to understand the human way, borrow the human heart, consolidate the mind of the Tao, understand the mind of the heaven, and use this as the basis to allow themselves to exist for a long time.

Of course, everyone has different minds and different ways and hearts. There is no distinction between good and evil, right and wrong, it only depends on whether you can be attached.

On this point, a Confucian view is very suitable for expounding: for those who are in form and qi, it is called the human heart; for those who are in righteousness, it is called the Tao heart; for those who are in righteousness, it is called the Tao heart; for people's hearts are easy to be private but difficult to be public, so it is dangerous; for the Tao hearts are difficult to be clear and easy to be ignorant, so it is subtle. Therefore, people's hearts are dangerous, and the Tao hearts are subtle; only essence is only one, and they can hold on to the middle.

Yuan Qingwei's heart of Tao is actually very simple, that is, to survive.

The spiritual world of the main world ensures the world's high-level environment, but also creates many tragedies.

After facing the death of his teacher, Yuan Qingwei, who had changed his body, would never forget his panic at that time and the fear of passing by death again.

This made Yuan Qingwei strongly reject death, and he was extremely eager to survive after living for a lifetime.

Although this extreme survival thinking is very suitable for practicing the immortal path, it is also the most likely to make mistakes.

After all, although the mind of Tao comes from attachment, it cannot be limited by attachment. It needs to be transcended, just like the supreme forgetting feelings, attachment and not attachment lies in oneself, not in the purpose.

But Yuan Qingwei's fear of death and desire for life have affected Yuan Qingwei's thoughts. His situation does not seem to be tempering the heart of Tao as the world changes, but to change himself in order to cater to the heart of Tao.

Therefore, when facing Zhan Siyuan, he showed relative humility, and in the world of immortals and gods, he also strived for stability. Even after being able to leave the main world, he spent a lot of time on exploring the rest of the world and strengthening the incarnation of Qingwei.

These actions actually show that Yuan Qingwei has less motivation than normal practitioners. He hopes to include all changes in his control, or is afraid of the unknown, the possible harm caused by the unknown, and even death.

This time the fight with Wang Shouzheng had a great impression of Yuan Qingwei. The tempering of moves and martial arts will is second to him. The biggest impact on him was the spiritual fragments left by Wang Shouzheng.

Compared to everything Wang Shouzheng did to seek the Tao, Yuan Qingwei's mind was obviously much more immature. So when facing the Taoist concept contained in the remaining spiritual fragments of Wang Shouzheng, Yuan Qingwei's Taoist mind was constantly affected, and countless insights flowed through his heart, causing subtle changes in his Taoist mind and gained a new understanding of the future.

Although the foundation of Taoist heart is still based on movable type, how to live? How to live? There have been earth-shaking changes.

The changes in the heart of Tao have driven Yuan Qingwei's mind and magic power to change. He felt that the magic power in his body became particularly active, and there was a little mysterious and wonderful aura in it. It made the magic power look like a newborn baby, full of vigorous vitality, and like a clear spring and gurgling stream, clear and pure, washing away the body's internal distractions infected by the spiritual world and some remaining distracting thoughts.

When the mind moves, the magic power in the body moves with the heart. Whether it is the use of magic or the warmth of oneself, it has made considerable progress.
