For such existences that are almost like Bodhisattvas, the only thing that can truly affect their minds is the great vows they made at the beginning, or the wishes rooted in the great vows.

They made great wishes to practice, but in the later stages, their original intentions almost depend on their original wishes, and there may be new changes in the future. The cause and effect karma is the cause and effect karma that the Monkey King owed in the past. Of course, after several lifetimes of reincarnation, the Monkey King owed in the world for most of the time, and the evil karma that the Monkey King owed in the past has been repaid for most of the time.
Now, the cause and effect that can still affect his enlightenment is only three levels.
The first level is naturally the person who used to enlighten him by death. This person has a close grace to the Monkey Zen Master, and must be repaid.
The second level is that his junior brother, who was influenced by his philosophy, fell into the side path for no reason. The Monkey King Zen Master also made a vow to save him. Although this vow is not a fundamental great vow, it is also the original wish and must be done.
The third level is the remnants of his past sins. According to his calculations, as long as he experiences a world and accumulates virtue and does good deeds, he can repay them completely. But now he needs to be liberated in advance, so the remaining debts must be cleaned up or someone can find someone to inherit.
For these three levels of cause and effect, Yuan Qingwei needs help with the first and second levels, that is, to help take care of the benefactor and junior brother of Master Duzhi.
