Chapter 60 Playing

Sigmun's figure appeared out of thin air on the roof of a low building, and then Thomas was seen entering the carriage in front of him led by a handsome man.

With a flash of his body, he appeared in the back alley of the low building. Last night, after the dream meeting, he entered Montana's shallow dream.

Montana told Sigmon that Yvonne seemed to be planning something secretly, which should be targeted at him, but she had not found out about the specific plan yet.

Sigmon proposed his own idea, hoping that Montana could help him find the list that only the Oracle Church is in his hands.

What Sigmun didn't expect was that just one night, rumors about him and Charlotte were circulating. Combined with Montana's reminder, he guessed that there must be a church force behind it.

But he really didn't understand what the meaning of similar actions was to lay the groundwork for the real plan, or just put a smoke bomb to divert his attention?

He entered the Bureau of Investigation, handled the work at hand, and communicated with Charlotte about the progress of the item investigation across the air, and then he received a communication request from Thomas.

After a moment, when Sigmun put down the communicator in his hand, the expression on his face changed slightly.

Poor Thomas said too many provocative words because of his proud moment, but was beaten up by his elder brother Dario. As for the rights in his hands, he naturally handed over to Edward.

That is the handsome man who led him onto the carriage.

"I understand. I will deal with the matters over Dario. I will use the potion I gave you to recover from my injury as soon as possible. Abetus's business integration needs your assistance."

Thomas choked with sobs and felt inexplicably at ease.

…………

Edward walked out of the carriage and looked up at the single-family building in front of him. This was the workplace set up by the Scalid family in the loading and unloading area on the banks of the Suriven River.

Not long ago, he witnessed the scene of Thomas being beaten by Dario with his own eyes. As for the handover work, he was not worried about going back to recuperate. Maybe the poor Thomas would find himself in person tomorrow morning.

When he walked into the room, no staff stopped Edward along the way, because early in the morning, Scalid's appointment notice was sent to everyone. In fact, Thomas was the last person to know.

"Notify the people on the list to replace their goods. Before dark, I will see the ships and flags of those guys, and get out of our dock." Edward ordered casually.

"Yes, sir."

The staff quickly became busy with the list in their hands. The first batch of telephone numbers had been installed here, and the communication efficiency was very fast. Not long after, a noise came from outside.

It was the ordinary businessmen who were swept out to ask for an explanation.

Edward ignored these people, and once he mastered the route, he had the right to speak. Soon after, the conflict outside escalated, and the sound of war and insults quickly came.

But this is just a conflict between ordinary people, and it does not involve any extraordinary power. If you seek hard work, you will have no result. The merchants who gathered in the end can only disperse themselves.

As time passed, the cargo ship outside completed a round of replacement, and after a whole day of sorting, Edward basically grasped the general situation here.

It was evening, and just as he was about to rest and eat at a restaurant by the river, a noise came from outside the door.

At first Edward thought it was the group of businessmen who came to make trouble in the morning, but soon the noisy debate came to an abrupt end, and then a voice that suppressed anger reached Edward's ears.

"Thomas, come out!" The spiritual power contained in this voice.

"Extraordinary?" Edward frowned, pushed the door and walked out.

Abetus has strict control over the extraordinary. If you want to settle down in the city, you must have an identity certificate issued by the Demon Hunter or the Bureau of Investigation.

It records the holder's own strength, contract signed and the level of danger.

In addition, Abetus's law clearly stipulates that it is not allowed to release extraordinary abilities at will in downtown areas. Once discovered, it will immediately attract the attention of demon hunters. In severe cases, the identity certificate will be recycled and expelled from Abetus.

If you dare to resist, you will be listed as an extremely dangerous element. In this case, using extraordinary abilities may attract direct attacks from demon hunters.

So in most cases, no one is willing to use his extraordinary abilities in Abetus unless necessary.

Of course, this is just a constraint. If you have confidence that you can avoid the search of demon hunters, it is a different matter.

So when he noticed the spiritual power fluctuations coming from downstairs, Edward's face changed instantly.

"Come out!" The roar below was still there.

"Diet? Where did the person go?"

Edward walked downstairs quickly and saw an extremely handsome young man shouting loudly in the room.

The nobles have excellent bloodlines, and many extraordinary powers also have special bonuses to charm, but Edward has to admit that the man in front of him is indeed a bit handsome.

Robert touched his hair that had grown a little stubble.

He was sent here early by Sigmun as a contact person in Abetus in the southern waters. He had to do a full set of acting, and the plays that should be performed should continue.

"Sir, may I ask you..."

"Who are you? Get out of here!" Robert interrupted Edward's words with a rude look, "I'll come to Thomas."

"Mr. Thomas is not here. I am Edward, the person in charge here. Just tell me if you have anything." Edward stretched out his hand without caring.

"Tell you, that's fine." Robert glanced at Edward lightly.

"The ships outside, replace the goods on them..."

"Switch it?" Edward looked surprised.

"Don't you understand? I specifically instructed Thomas." Robert threw a ball of paper on Edward's face.

"I don't want any of the people on the list. If you have to transport them over, I will send someone to guard the border line. If you come, I will blow up a boat."

"This..." Edward's eyes twitched. He finally understood the other party's identity and cursed in his heart. In his opinion, it was because Thomas deliberately concealed that he could face such a difficult situation.

"This gentleman..."

"Call me Robert."

"Okay, Robert, I can ask why you should put these people..."

"You still ask?" Robert interrupted Edward impatiently, "Will you change it?" His face darkened, and his spiritual power was released.

Edward took a deep breath. He had never been treated like he was today since he entered the fourth level, but after a moment he calmed down and his face was filled with a smile.

"Switch, let's change now!" After saying that, he waved his hand, and the staff around him could only run out of the door and quickly ordered.

Because I personally supervised the worker, this time it didn't take long to get all the goods on the cargo ship that belonged to the nobles were cleaned up. During this period, Edward tried hard to accompany his smile and wanted to talk to Robert several times.

But in the end, they all only received a contemptuous cold snort.

It was getting darker, and just as Edward ordered everyone to replace the goods, Robert circled around several ships, and then glanced at Edward in an understatement.

"I suddenly felt that these things seemed useless. You can keep them for yourself, I don't want them."

"What?!" Edward's face changed suddenly, "Are you playing tricks on me?" he asked coldly.
