Chapter 3 Interview

July 21 at 10:00 am.

Felix was dressed in a formal manner, standing in the fireplace, sprinkling a handful of Flood powder, shouting "Vice Principal Hogwarts Office". After a green flame passed, his figure disappeared.

In the office of Vice President Hogwarts, Professor McGonagall was sorting out school documents with a serious look on his face.

The professor of Transformation Class, known for his severity, always had no expression on his face, but she was in a good mood at this moment. Gryffindor College won the long-lost Academy Cup last school year, keeping the joy of the dean of Gryffindor College until now.

"Peng!"

A cluster of green flames flashed in the fireplace, and a young, polite man stepped out.

Felix looked at the surrounding environment and it didn't change at all. It was a long time ago! He smiled gently at McGonagall: "Hello Professor McGonagall, long time no see."

Professor McGonagall pursed her lips, which meant that her mood was rapidly getting worse or changing to work mode, "Long time no see, Felix."

Professor McGonagall also taught him and was one of his professors. She was very complicated for this famous student, and of course it was not as complicated as Professor Snape.

Before the long-lost Academy Cup, Gryffindor had a miserable seven-game losing streak, and this experience had a lot to do with Felix.

In addition to the previous three years, Felix's learning environment was too bad, which led to him having to fight back, and he deducted a lot of points. In the following years, after forcibly fighting with the little snakes, he seemed to finally realize that he was a Slytherin student and should fight for the honor of the college.

And the next few years can be described in one sentence, "glory belongs to Slytherin."

...

Felix walked forward and looked at the pocket watch, "I hope I didn't miss the interview."

Professor McGonagall was interrupted by memory and stood up and led him to the principal's office, "Chocolate Frog." She recited the command and sent Felix in. Before leaving, she spoke: "Your book is very good. It seems that you have been doing a fulfilling life in the past three years."

"Thank you, Professor McGonagall." He was stunned for a moment, smiled, and then stepped onto the steps.

After three years of graduation, he was not in vain. Especially when he failed to apply for a job for the first time, he repeatedly thought about it, suspected that his student career was too vigorous, so he followed Principal Dumbledore's advice and "Go and take a walk more and take a look."

He spent a year wandering around the world of wizards, and the remaining two years stayed in the world of Muggles to work, uh, research Muggles.

The results are remarkable. Three books, two Muggle research, and one ancient magical text in three years.

He also accumulated a considerable amount of wealth.

Walking through the long steps, Felix entered the principal's office, which was filled with various books and alchemy products, and on the wall were portraits of principals Hogwarts of all generations.

On the side of the principal's desk, a phoenix closed his eyes and took a nap.

Dumbledore was studying something at his desk, and the whole office was very quiet.

"Good morning, Principal Dumbledore." Felix said hello. As he spoke, the room suddenly became alive.

The principal portraits opened their eyes one after another, looked at Felix, pointed and whispered.

One of them has an extremely exaggerated portrait, "Ha! The best Slytherin is here!"

The man in the portrait has a goatee, slender eyebrows, and wearing a Slytherin's robe. He is Phoenix Black, and was named the least popular Hogwarts principal by students, also from Slytherin.

Felix gave a courteous manner.

At this time, Principal Dumbledore finally raised his head. He had a very different appearance than ordinary people. His silver beard was dragged to his chest long; his robe was not neatly worn, and he was wearing a pair of half-moon glasses.

But these are not as good as his eyes. His eyes are very bright, and his azure-blue pupils seem to be shining.

Felix was a little confused. Time did not leave too many traces on the principal, and it seemed that it left too many traces.

"Ah, ah! It's Felix," Dumbledore stood up and strode, his movements were very agile, "I've been waiting for you to come."

Felix shook hands with the principal a little restrainedly. After all, he came to the door to look for a job and was rejected three times.

The two sat on the chair, Dumbledore looked at him through the thin lenses, and waved his wand, "What do you want to drink? Pumpkin juice? Tea?" Then he blinked, "I still have fresh butter beer here."

"A cup of tea, thank you."

Dumbledore waved his wand lightly, and a cup of hot tea floated in front of him. Felix sipped it. A bitter smell poured into his mouth and nose. It was Chen tea. It seemed that the principal did not drink much tea.

"I personally can't taste the tea that Sybil gave me, but according to her, comes from the far east."

fraud!

Felix complained, at least one of you two is a liar.

After drinking tea, the conversation began to get to the point.

"Felix, you have done a great job in the past few years. I have been reading your books. I have to say that you are very novel and in-depth in Muggle research... and have given me a lot of ideas."

Felix smiled, "Thanks to your advice, the world of Muggles is wonderful, especially in recent decades, they have developed very quickly. As for the works... maybe it's because I am also from Muggles, and I have more understanding of them."

Dumbledore shook his head, "Bornship cannot erase your efforts. Many people in the wizarding world are from Muggle, but they are not good at researching Muggle. At most, they have a deeper understanding of some common sense, but this is far from being understood."

Of course, because I was a pure Muggle in my previous life.

Dumbledore waved his wand and flew out of his desk a book titled "The History of the Muggle's Struggle: Starting Millions of Years Ago", which was one of Felix's works. He was a little surprised that Dumbledore had been reading his book just now.

"This book is very inspiring to me. I have read it more than once, especially from the history of science and technology - is this word? From the perspective of science and technology, we explain how Muggles gradually evolved from a beast like a beast, over millions of years, to the current level. I have to say that this is a miracle."

"You also pointed out that Muggles' technological level will leap quickly every once in a while, with the intervals getting shorter and shorter, and even predicting that the next leap will be not far away - very enlightening!" Dumbledore praised his book.

Felix said modestly: "This idea was not something I created. In fact, many sociologists in the Muggle world, oh, Muggle scholars who study Muggle, have given me a lot of help in their works."

Dumbledore said calmly, "Many Muggles are equally wise, but few people in the magic world admit this."

"I agree with you, Professor Dumbledore."

Dumbledore blinked immediately, as if he had skipped the topic just now, and said playfully: "So, you should have read a lot of Muggle books? To be honest, many of my Christmas gifts are books, and they seem to think that I prefer books. But in fact, I have read most of them. Compared to this, I prefer a pair of wool socks."

"Of course, if it was a book from the Muggle World, I don't think I would refuse."

A bright hint...

At least he knows what Christmas gifts should be given...

"Yes, although they have no magic, some of them are willing to spend more than a decade completing a book that specifically describes a problem or a theory." Felix whispered, "It's difficult. Therefore, it's precious."
