311 Butterfly Effect

A butterfly in the tropical rainforest of the Amazon basin in South America, occasionally flapping its wings a few times, may trigger a tornado in Texas, USA two weeks later, which is called the butterfly effect.

The butterfly effect triggered by Lu Yiqi is also being staged. The trajectory of history has slightly deviated, but the result is a slight difference, which is a huge mistake.

On April 29, Brett Faffer officially submitted an application to the league to withdraw his retirement and applied for a return to the league. After receiving the permission of league chairman Roger Goodell, Faffer officially returned to the league on May 4, and his contract is still affiliated with Green Bay Packers.

Favre returns to Green Bay and formally starts a conversation with management.

As expected, Fafer began to operate within the team early to win over supporters; unexpectedly, Fafer's strategy of joining the road achieved incredible results:

He successfully won the support of team executive president Reggie-zie, general manager of player management Eliot Wolf, general assistant coach and linebacker coach Winston Moss and others.

In addition, there is head coach Mike McCarthy.

Most importantly, the team chairman and CEO Mark Murphy did not make any statement and insisted on an attitude of neither support nor opposition.

The reason is not complicated, because the owner of Green Bay Packers is a Green Bay resident, and all of these management teams were voted on. Mark Murphy is a new official who just took office in 2007. He must consider Favre's appeal and the shouts of fans, and must be cautious in every move.

Although Favre's unbelievable "retirement farce" hurts the hearts of countless Green Bay fans, Favre is still the most appealing superstar in the NFL at present.

On the one hand, Favre's performance in the 2007 season is still top-notch. The Green Bay Packers can reach the National League finals, and his role is undoubtedly. Even head coach McCarthy's contribution cannot surpass the superstar; on the other hand, the league also looks forward to Favre continuing to drive ratings.

Favre's return caused storm within the Green Bay Packers' management, and the bloody storm of power struggle and interest division caused people's morale to be distracted.

Rodgers, who had already determined the starting position, immediately became awkward; the main players who had steadily occupied the starting position seemed to have begun to stand on the team and express their feelings. Even if there was no movement on the surface, the mood changes were particularly subtle, let alone the new players who just joined the player.

Finally, Russ Ball, the vice chairman of the team who just took office in March, joined forces with team manager Ted Thompson, and successfully convinced Mark Murphy to take action. Three senior managers joined forces and had the support of another team executive president John Schneider and the team management veteran John Dorsey. He decisively cut the mess and put an end to the retirement farce:

Favre was out and Rogers took over.

Things were settled like this.

Among them, John Dorsey is the fourth person to come to Lu Yiqi's house. The person who remained silent from beginning to end is the general manager of the scout at Green Bay Packaging University.

In 1984, he joined the Green Bay Packers through the draft. After six years of service, he directly joined the Green Bay Packers’ scout team. In addition to a brief trip to the Seahawks to work for a year in 1999, he was always in Green Bay, and he is the most familiar management team among local residents.

Only a very, very few fans knew that Dorsey personally communicated with the fan leaders, hoping that the fans could support Rodgers with the team; and expressed his opinions on the issue of McCarthy's "wrong position selection":

He believes that Lu Yiqi can shoulder the responsibilities of head coach.

As the top scout at Green Bay Packers University, Dorser knows the trends in the university arena. He initially heard about Lu Yiqi's name from David Kahn, a scout of Philadelphia Eagles. Kahn personally watched the game between Kansas State University and the University of Missouri, with a high evaluation.

Then Dorsey personally watched the last two games of the Kansas State University regular season, as well as the Big 12 Championship and the All-American Championship.

When Thompson heard Lu Yiqi's name from Homgren, he asked Dossey what he meant; Dossey was not stingy with his praise.

With Favre's elimination, McCarthy, who unswervingly supported Favre in the team meeting, was eliminated and was brutally cleansed by Thompson.

At the end of the round-trip, Lu Yiqi became the head coach of Green Bay Packers.

Although the Green Bay Packers confirmed that Favre would not return, Favre had withdrawn his retirement application and refused to stay with the team as Rodgers' substitute. At the same time, the Green Bay Packers must continue to pay Favre's salary, and things are deadlocked here.

In the end, the Green Bay Packers nodded and agreed to Faffer's departure, but not in the form of being cut off - they could not allow Faffer to go to a competitive team and then snipe themselves in the face of a roundabout way, such as the Minnesota Vikings who were ready to move out.

Green Bay Packers found the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the New York Jets for negotiations. After several rounds of tug-of-war, Green Bay, which was in a passive position, had no choice but to compromise. On May 17, they traded Farver to New York and only exchanged for a four-round pick, which was a heavy loss.

But no matter what, the Green Bay Packers finally solved Favre's retirement storm before the offseason training camp began, and the team's problems must be solved next.

Digital coaches, including McCarthy, must be cleaned, then reorganized the coaching team, comforted the locker room, and quickly entered the new season to prepare for the game.

This is also the reason why Thompson nodded and agreed to Lu Yiqi's subsequent request - they really need to add to the coaching team. Since Lu Yiqi is willing to recommend candidates, he is also willing to interview.

At least in the first year, Thompson will fully support Lu Yiqi and look forward to the young coach bringing surprises.

In this way, history deviated from the track and created a new history, completely changing the history:

Lu Yiqi, who was only 29 years old, entered the Green Bay Packers as the youngest head coach in history, and made a brilliant debut as the first Chinese head coach in history.

What's even more incredible is that from an NCAA-level offensive coordinator to an NFL-level head coach, Lu Yiqi completed the triple jump in just three years. Coupled with topics such as age and race, everything was beyond imagination. This... this is no longer just crazy, it is simply a fantasy, comparable to a myth, and it has fallen into glasses all over the floor.

For a moment, all eyes were projecting towards Green Bay, and everyone was asking the same question:

"Who is this Coach Archie?"

This is an NFL-level focus, far from comparable to that of the NCAA. You can even clearly hear the "rumbling" explosion in your ears.
