1409. finally believe(1/2)
Everyone could clearly feel that Sean was pursuing Anna. Although Anna did not accept it, her attitude was obviously much better than before.
They couldn't help but scream for Malcolm.
After all, the two of them had such a good relationship, and they didn't get divorced. Is Anna considered this...
The screen changed and came to the office.
The office was quiet. Cole and Malcolm sat face to face at a mixed-colored desk.
Cole pondered for a long time before asking, "...what do you want the most?"
Malcolm shook his head: "I don't know."
Cole: "I said what I want."
Malcolm nodded: "I know what I want. Being able to talk to my wife again is just like before, back to the two-person world."
Cole asked gently: "What are you going to do?"
Malcolm whispered: "I can't be your doctor anymore. I don't care about my family, it's wrong. Do you understand? I will introduce you to it...I know two..."
Cole whispered: "Don't give up on me."
Malcolm's sharp eyes.
Cole begged: "Don't give up on me, you are the only one who can help me, I know."
Malcolm tried to calm down, but failed: "I can't help you. There will be someone else to help you."
Cole began to cry and almost begged, "Dr. Clovie, believe me, right?"
The two of them were speechless.
Cole repeated the sentence again: "Dr. Clovie, do you believe my secret?"
Malcolm sighed: "I don't know how to answer."
Cole looked for the answer in Malcolm's face, and Malcolm looked elsewhere.
Cole took out a copper plate from his pocket and put it gently on the table: "If you don't believe me, how can you help me?"
Malcolm looked at the copper plate and then Cole's painful eyes.
Cole whispered: "Some magic is real."
Obviously, Malcolm did not believe in Cole. He just wanted to gain his trust. Unfortunately, Cole was still desperate.
This scene seemed to be just a conversation, but the audience felt extremely worried because what Cole said: "If you don't believe me, how can you help me?"
This kid is too difficult.
The picture turns to the basement of Malcolm's house.
Malcolm actually fiddled with the recorder and the sound of the door opening and closing came from inside.
This is a recording of Malcolm's conversation with the patient.
Malcolm said: "Sorry for letting you wait for so long. It's so cold here."
Malcolm's sound of walking and sitting down.
"Vincent, why are you crying?"
Vincent is a boy about 10 years old when he was treated. In fact, it is not difficult for the audience to recall who Vincent is.
It was the boy who committed suicide!
Vincent: "You won't believe me." Vincent sniffed.
Malcolm rewinds, replays:
"Sorry for letting you wait for so long. It's so cold here."
Malcolm poured a little more tape forward and put it on:
"You know, I don't like syringes either. I had blood tests when I was a child, and I vomited all over the nurse."
Vincent burst into laughter.
The sound of the door opening came from inside.
The secretary's voice came: "Sorry, Dr. Reed is on line 2."
Malcolm: "I have to answer this call, you can wait here, okay?"
Vincent: "Okay."
Malcolm and his secretary walked out of the room and closed the door.
There was no movement for a long time, and then there was a sudden sound of a chair wiping the floor. Vincent's breathing was rapid.
There seemed to be some faint electromagnetic sound on the tape being filtered.
Malcolm rewinds and turns the volume to the maximum.
The entire basement is filled with electromagnetic noise.
Malcolm listened carefully.
Among the piles of electromagnetic sounds, a sound appeared, it was a man's voice:
“familia...no dejen que esto me pase...mi familia...yo quiero morir...familia"
Malcolm couldn't believe his ears: "Oh my god!"
Another pit was filled!
It turns out that Vincent, like Cole, is also experiencing Cole's nightmare.
But Malcolm didn't believe him at the beginning, just as he didn't believe in Cole.
He thought that Vincent was abandoned by him, which led to a tragedy.
So what about Cole?
For this reason, Malcolm came to the church to look for Cole.
Malcolm walked quickly along the middle aisle, his eyes swept every empty seat.
Cole: "Have you been very busy lately?"
Malcolm looked up in the voice, and Cole was playing with his soldiers on the railings of the box. He lowered his head and spoke to Malcolm: "It's better? I like to be busy, that's good. Do you want to ask me questions now?"
Malcolm shook his head.
Cole held up his plastic soldier and asked, "Want to join the 7th Marine Division? We have just been sent to Vietnam to fight."
Malcolm: "Let's go later."
Cole: "Something happened, right?"
Malcolm nodded.
Cole: "Are you scared?"
Malcolm looked at the empty church and said, "Yes. I think so."
Cole pulled down his troops and got out of the private room.
Malcolm: "Do you know what the meaning of 'yo no quiero morir'? In Spanish, it means 'I don't want to die.' What do you want those ghosts to come to you for? Think about it carefully."
Cole retreated to a stool and sat down.
Malcolm: "Think about it carefully, what do they want to do?"
Cole: "I want my help."
Malcolm said firmly: "Yes, I think so too. They want your help, even those scary ones...I think I know how to get them away."
Cole: "How to do it?"
Malcolm: "Listen to them."
Cole shook his head: "What if they don't want me to help? What if they just want to hurt someone?"
Malcolm: "I don't think so."
Cole doubtfully: "How can you be sure?"
Malcolm: "I can't be sure."
Seeing this, the audience finally breathed a sigh of relief, because obviously, Malcolm believed it.
At least, this is a good start.
At least, Cole is no longer lonely, at least someone is willing to believe him.
Malcolm turned the corner and saw Sean coming out of his house.
Malcolm walked towards Sean angrily.
Sean didn't realize someone was around him, so he got into the car and started the engine.
Malcolm was a few seconds late, and Sean drove away.
To be continued...
