The Ruthless Emperor: Chapter 3: Trading

Su Jin instinctively didn't want to have any connection with the strange Buddha.

Opportunities in the stories often appear in ruined temples, but in reality, these rural hair gods who don’t know their origins are the most terrifying.

They are used to being good at disguising themselves as an opportunity, which makes you unconsciously obsessed with their words. Even if you are sold, you will still be grateful and miss the reward. This situation is not uncommon.

But after a few more days, Su Jin really couldn't walk anymore, because the closer he got to the boundary wall, the stronger the strength of the nearby demons and the more dangerous the night was.

On this day, Su Jin stood on the desolate land covered with cracks, looked up at the sun that was about to set in the western sky, sighed slightly, turned around and walked back to the road he came.

He is not afraid of death, nor is he afraid of hard work, but the road ahead is indeed impossible.

Besides, he had been broken many times when he was able to get here, and several times he was almost swallowed into his stomach by evil demons.

The infinite gloves fail and the space ring loses its effect. Once swallowed into the belly, the strong stomach acid may not kill him, but he may be trapped in the demon's stomach!

Why do ruthless people in mature stages work with pawnshops? The main reason is not to expect someone to appear, which can cause her to suffer less and make up for some regrets? If someone can avenge her, why should she practice so desperately?

If she is trapped in the demon's stomach and when she finds the other person again, she is afraid that she will experience all the things she should bear and what she should not bear. So what is the meaning of her existence?

Therefore, Su Jin thought that he could not leave anymore. When he went back and chatted with the strange and mysterious Buddha, he might find a solution.

A few days passed, and the dilapidated temple was still the same, as if the wind was still the same, and the time was still the day when I just walked out of the temple.

Su Jin stepped in and said, "I forgot to ask when I came last time, what kind of Buddha do you say you are a Buddha? Amitabha or Tathagata? Or the Buddha of the past and the future?"

"I am the Buddha of the Pure Land Sect." The clay Buddha said: "You can call me the Pure Land Buddha. If you inherit my mantle and rebuild the Pure Land Sect in the future, then you are the Pure Land Buddha."

Su Jin said: "I don't know much about the Buddhism in your world, but in my memory, Pure Land Sect is just a branch of Buddhism, right? Even if it is a sect, it can only be called the ancestor of the sect at most."

"Buddhism is not a religion, and the sects that exist because of Buddha have never been affiliated with any branch. Who is affiliated with? Mahayana Buddhism or Hinayana Buddhism? The Buddha said that sentient beings are equal. Since they are equal, how can they be divided into the main and secondary?" The Pure Land Buddha said.

"I don't argue with you about these things. I have no position. There is no benefit in winning. Just know who you are." Su Jin waved his hand and said, "There are no other rigid requirements besides rebuilding the Pure Land Buddhist Sect, right? For example, how many believers must be, and how much development will be."

"The so-called reconstruction should at least be clear to people from the nine heavens and ten earths, right? Otherwise, you set up a temple and recruit a few monks. What kind of reconstruction is considered? Once the reconstruction is completed, it will not be what you want. If you want to survive, you must go against the current!" The Pure Land Buddha said.

Su Jin said: "If I rebuild the Pure Land Buddha Sect and establish myself as the Pure Land Buddha, then the disciples who believe in it will only be me. What benefits can you get from it?"

"It's just fulfilling my wish." The Pure Land Buddha said: "As long as the Pure Land Sect is not destroyed, my inheritance has not been cut off. Even if my soul is scattered and ashes are destroyed, it's no big deal."

Su Jin didn't believe this from the bottom of his heart.

In his opinion, except for some old monsters who have lived for too many years and are indeed tired of living, all monks are more afraid of death the higher their cultivation level. They are not only afraid of death, but also fear that their hard work over the years has not received enough rewards. Once the fear disappears, they will never enjoy all the beauty brought by their strength.

It is undeniable that there are really people with great enlightenment in the world who are willing to sacrifice their lives for their ideals and ambitions, and are not afraid of sacrifice. But the intuition in the dark tells Su Jin that this so-called Pure Land Buddha will definitely not be such a person.

"You said you could send me out, how do you send me?" After a long silence, Su Jin did not raise any questions about the reply from the Pure Land Buddha, but instead asked a core question.

"I can span the two realms here and open up a time and space portal to the ruins of the Great Wilderness Pure Land Sect. If you are willing to promise me, I can send you there now. And in that ruin, I left behind a powerful magic weapon and a set of general books containing all the scriptures and meanings of the Pure Land Sect. After that, you can find these two things first, first learn the scriptures, then refine that magic weapon, and then rebuild the Pure Land Sect on the ruins."

Su Jin said: "I can only promise to help you rebuild the Pure Land Sect. As for everything else, I will not make any promises. For example, if I just rebuilt and make it famous in the Nine Heavens and Ten Earths, but it will cause great disasters. I will definitely not stay and live and die with the Pure Land Sect!"

The Pure Land Buddha was silent for a moment and said, "Well, you are not a disciple trained by the Pure Land Sect after all, and naturally lack the protection of living and dying together. However, I can promise you, but you also have to promise me one more thing."

"What's the matter?"

"Kill a Buddha named Liuzhu."

"I also said you are the Buddha, whose Buddha will instigate the murder?" Su Jin complained.

The Pure Land Buddha said: "The Buddha is not dough, and he has to smile when he is kneaded! The arhat has the anger of the arhat, and the Ming King has the anger of the Ming King, and the Buddha will naturally have the anger of the Buddha. The six bamboos were originally named Liuzhu. I sent it to this point. He also promised to rebuild the Pure Land Sect. As a result, he had just made some achievements, and was bought by the Lotus Sect and became the chief disciple of the Lotus Sect."

Su Jin said: "The Lotus Sect has a grudge against the Pure Land Sect?"

"It's not considered a hatred, just like between countries, only interests are eternal. In Buddhism, the Pure Land Sect has been declining for a long time, and believers are all swallowed up by the other Buddhist sects. Once the Pure Land Sect rises again, it's their interests that are divided. Do you think they can be happy?"

Su Jin pursed her lips and said, "If I don't fulfill the agreement, I will definitely become the target of being hunted, right?"

"Yes!" Pure Land Buddha said: "Just like you for Liu Zhu, if you don't kill the other party, the matter will not end!"
