The sulfur content in high-quality steel is generally less than 0.02% to 0.03%, the desulfurization standard for 945 steel is more stringent, the recommended sulfur content in the supply state of 8~16mm is ≤0.01%, and the recommended sulfur content in the supply state of other specifications is ≤0.015%.

The sulfur content of 945 steel that has been offline is between 0.02 and 0.05%. After various performance tests, it is found that there is a certain gap between the supply standards.

In order to solve the problem of desulfurization, the research team held a technical discussion meeting, and the participants were Ye Guoli, General Engineer Tian and the leaders of each group.

"Desulfurization is not only for 945 steel. For other steel types, the lower the sulfur content, the better. RH powder uses CaOCaF2 desulfurization agent. The desulfurization ratio of this powder is calculated as:
