Chapter seven hundred and fiftieth eight or small life is more important(1/2)

After casually glanced at the environment inside the toilet, A Shu controlled the protagonist who was already able to operate and hurriedly walked outside.

After all, this small and dirty toilet, combined with the slightly dim light, always feels a little depressed.

He was afraid that a ghost would come out of a place like the toilet in the next second and scary games or movies, and toilets are always places with high incidence of accidents.

Walking out of the toilet and seeing the scenery outside, A Shu couldn't help but be slightly stunned.

It wasn't because I was scared, but because I had some doubts.

Is this really a horror game?

Looking at the surrounding environment, we can confirm that it is located in a remote suburb of a small town.

You can see mountains, forests and lakes in the distance, and the game still belongs to the same daytime, not a dark scene like "Escape" and "Resident Evil".

The only thing to say is that the surrounding low walls and roads look weather-beaten, and the whole town is very quiet.

But this has no way to connect with horror!

If it weren't for knowing that "Silent Hill" was a horror game, A Shu would have thought he was playing some casual vacation game.

I looked around, roadblocks, trash cans, and a car with a car door open. It seemed that this was the car driven by the protagonist, and there was nothing special about it.

After walking two steps around, the game entered an uncontrollable cutscene.

The protagonist in the game slowly walked towards the low wall, and a female voice seemed to be talking in her ear, obviously what someone in the protagonist's memory said.

‘I saw this town in endless dreams – Silent Hill.’

'You promised, and you will bring me back again.'

‘But you don’t.’

‘I am just a lonely person now.’

‘In the old place…’

‘I’ve been waiting for you.’

As this memory falls.

The background melody in the game also changed immediately.

Sometimes the guitar sounds with high notes and sometimes the bass are like the rapid drizzle, cheerful but mixed with an inexplicable sense of urging.

The atmosphere of the entire game suddenly seemed a little mysterious and thrilling.

‘I received a letter with Mary’s name on it.’

‘That’s my wife’s name…’

‘It’s ridiculous, it must be fake…I kept telling myself that way.’

‘Because a dead person…will not write a letter.’

‘Three years ago, Mary died of a terrible disease.’

‘But, why did I come here to find her?’

‘Old place…what does this mean?’

‘Does she mean Lakeside Park?’

‘We used to spend the whole day there, just the two of us… staring at the water.’

‘Is Mary… really here?’

‘She is really alive…is she still waiting for me?’

After the protagonist James' inner monologue ended, A Shu was able to manipulate the protagonist of the game again.

And at this moment, layers of white fog appeared in the distance.

It is completely different from the haze in reality, the haze in reality is gloomy.

But the white fog in this game is actually very bright, and you can't see anything behind you when you see it.

The various graffiti in the toilet have a bit of cunning musical melody, letters from the dead wife, and the hero who came after receiving the letter, the quiet hill town shrouded in white mist in the distance.

Now A Shu felt that he could take back his previous opinion, and he was a little panicked...

A Shu swallowed silently and looked at the barrage in the live broadcast room. Only then did he feel a little better.

Although there is no high-energy information at present.

But unlike the previous "Fireworks", although this does not seem to be the sequel to PT before, because of PT, he knew very well that there was a monster in this game that could kill the protagonist, just like the female ghost who was killed by PT in the previous work.

This potential threat suddenly made the atmosphere, for fear that something scary came out from somewhere.

After the cutscenes in the game ended, A Shu was able to control the character freely.

Among them, A Shu still noticed some points in "Silent Hill".

That is, in the game, A Shu saw the long-lost air wall.

Of course, we can't talk about the air wall, but instead restricts him from going to other places, and there is only one way to move forward.

If you walk to another place, James in the game will whisper to himself: "Mary... She may be really in the Silent Hill, and I can't leave now."

Apart from that, A Shu found that there was almost no UI interface in the game.

This has also been found in the original Uncharted Seas and Detroit: Transformation of Man, which maximizes the player's immersion.

This setting is very exciting in those games, but it is in "Silent Hill".

Well, this setting becomes sour.

A Shu investigated the surrounding scenes everywhere and found a map of Silent Hill from the open car door.

Obviously this is James' car, so he should have driven this car to Silent Hill.

Then after arriving here, I went to the abandoned public toilet and went to a toilet.

It's just this map, and he feels more like a comfort.

Because it is not very useful.

Although all the locations in Silent Hill Town are marked out, as a paper map, players still need to explore them themselves.

"This town looks really not small. If you want to reach Mr. Chen's 10,000 quotas, it will probably be a disaster."

"Of course, this has nothing to do with us. Our goal is to open up the main line, and the rest has nothing to do with us!"

A Shu put away the map he got and then issued a target declaration in the live broadcast room.

As for the barrage of "just this?", "Brother Shu, what about your ambition?", he ignored it directly.

Whoever wants to challenge will challenge, he will not go anyway.

There is only one road at present, that is, to move towards the road at the foot of the mountain.

A Shu took a deep breath and began to walk along the road, but this was the big deal that happened.

Originally staying in place, A Shu didn't feel very big yet.

But as soon as he left, A Shu suddenly felt different.

"Brothers...have you noticed that the fog seems to be getting heavier and heavier!"

"And, except for the faint background music, there is no sound at all in the game!"

A Shu controls James in the game to take two steps and stop.

Unlike when he was just at the toilet door, after heading towards the path, A Shu keenly discovered that the fog in the game was getting heavier and heavier.

The visibility ahead has become very small.

And the most important thing is that in the whole game, except for the throbbing and mysterious background music, there is only the sound of your leather shoes stepping on the ground.

There is also the gasp of the protagonist James.

The sound itself is nothing, but the key is that it looks particularly harsh when combined with this very quiet environment.

There are no disgusting scenes, no terrible monsters, and no darkness.

Even the entire game is very bright, but it makes A Shu feel extremely depressed.

At first, A Shu was a little scared, whether a monster would appear as he walked.

But in fact, he walked a distance and this situation did not happen at all.

But this does not mean that he is no longer afraid. Instead, in this environment, he is even more worried.

Because as she moved forward, the fog became heavier and heavier.

When he came to the path, A Shu could only see a range of one or two meters around him. If he was farther away, he could only see the white fog.

There was no sound in the entire game scene, and even the faint background music melody had disappeared.

There are only the sound of one's own footsteps and breathing in the whole scene.

Deadly silence.

It was so quiet, without insects, birds, no signs of existence, and even the sound of wind. All it was the boundless white fog.
