Chapter 1: The New Students (4)

"Paracelsus... are you serious?"

Jung still couldn't believe that he was about to be kicked out of the academy. After confirming that Paracelsus was not joking again, he angrily said: "Bah, you're so blind." Then, he left the academy with a few of his disciples.

On the other side, Ravi was still angry. She stared at Jung and left the academy. Even though she took several deep breaths, her mood not only did not calm down, but became more and more angry. Suddenly, she squeezed the reagent in her hand and took a step to catch up. Fortunately, Paracelsus had already climbed up the platform and grabbed her from behind.

"Let me go." Ravi struggled, "This kind of despicable theory can even accept so many disciples. I must go over and throw it into a reagent today!"

"Why are you so angry?" asked Paracelsus. "There are many alchemists present who have listened to his teachings, but you are the only one who is so angry. Could it be that you have any personal grudges with him?"

"There is no personal grudge! But he is so hateful! It is a hundred times more hateful than the arrogant guys who don't know anything and can only say that alchemy is fraud and scam! Those people just don't understand alchemy, but this old man, his theory, his existence, and the disciples he taught will destroy the subject of alchemy!"

"Do you think Jung's theory will ruin the discipline of alchemy?" Paracelsus asked seriously. "What kind of discipline is alchemy in your opinion?"

"Alchemy is nothing more than two parts, skills, and magic."

Ravi replied equally seriously.

"From the birth of alchemy to the present, these two parts have been entangled. Even the greatest alchemy master cannot distinguish them. However, I think skills are the soul of alchemy! I think skills are what alchemy really should be passed down! The real goal of a great alchemist should be to eliminate magic and retain pure skills. But the old man's theory is completely the opposite. He eliminates skills and only magic is left! This is simply an insult to the discipline of alchemy!"

"Beautiful discussion." Paracelsus touched Ravi's head, "But if you pour this powerful reagent on your hand on his face, he will most likely die. If he dies, you will be convicted. In prison, there is no way to conduct an alchemy test."

Ravi was a little convinced. He lowered his head, but he was still gasping for breath because of his anger.

"Are the bottles of reagents in your hand the acid that you just showed? I've never seen such a powerful acid." Paracelsus changed the topic, "What is its name and how it was made, can it be taught to me and the audience? Little teacher?"

"This is fluorite acid, which I discovered in the experiment with my father." Ravi lowered his head and said, "It is not very acidic, but for some reason, it contains an extremely terrible corrupt force inside, not only bones, but even glass can corrode. My father believes that this force comes from the demon. fluorite acid is a product that greatly weakens the demonic power by alchemy, otherwise I can't even save it or carry it."

"Is such a terrible corrosiveness actually a product of weakening power?" Paracelsus thought, "Then, using alchemy, it should also be possible to separate this corrupt power and make it pure..."

"It's better to give up this idea." Ravi suddenly raised his eyes and stared at Paracelsus with a dark look. "I just said that this power comes from the demon. Just sealing it has exhausted my father and I. If you unseal it, you will die."

Paracelsus seemed very calm: "Of course, alchemy is always accompanied by risks. Since I came into contact with alchemy, it exploded, poisonous... I don't know how many times I have encountered it. A skilled alchemist can always protect himself from these dangers. And, since this power has appeared before me, how can I deliberately ignore it because of the risks?"

"You didn't understand my words at all. This demonic power is extraordinary, beyond imagination, and is not something that is currently human beings can control. My father died because of it. Are you doubting my father's alchemy ability?"

"What, your father...?"

"Sealing the Demon does not mean that he wants to ignore it. I am also an alchemist, and I can't wait to control this powerful force than anyone else. However, now is not the time to unseal! Guyin, this is the most stable substance that we can create with alchemy at the moment, but it is still not worth mentioning in front of the demon's power. The protection that current alchemy can provide us is like a layer of paper stuck to clothes!"

"Not only bones and glass, but also silver?" Paracelsus's eyes finally became serious, "I understand, it's really good not to touch it for the time being."

Ravi lowered his head, gritted his teeth, and clenched his fists: "So, in order to achieve my father's wish one day, I will push the skill of alchemy to a new peak."

“A new peak.”

Paracelsus looked up at the sky and suddenly realized something.

"Are you a freshman this year? What's your name?"

"Ravi Ravi Gill."

Aila's palace. Paracelsus, led by the guards, came down to Aila's study and gently knocked on the door three times. After hearing the sound of "Come in", he pushed the door and walked in.

Ella was sitting behind a desk full of documents. Her whole body was lying on one side of the chair, shaking her legs while shaking the chair, and biting a bamboo stick in her mouth. If she hadn't been holding a stack of manuscripts full of words in her hand, it would be hard to imagine that she was a highly educated person.

However, this kind of sitting posture is already a daily routine. Everyone in the Pirate Kingdom likes to sit like this, and no one will feel abnormal.

"Have you seen it all so soon?" Ella raised her head, "These are both freshmen I specially invited. How about it? Who do you think I'm giving the golden crowbar to?"

“Ravi.”

"Is the skilled school? But Jung's theory is also very powerful, right? In terms of magic?" Ella said, "It is appropriate to explain the magic you showed with his theory. Don't you think?"

Paracelsus closed his eyes and thought about it for a while, he said:

"I can't judge whether his theory is right or wrong. But, I think, none of the alchemists have learned alchemy to master magic. The previous alchemists were to create philosopher stones that turned into gold. My goal was to master the mystery of creation and create some medicines useful to man in the process. Ravi said rightly, Jung's theory, dressed in the outer skin of alchemy, is actually not worthy of calling it alchemy at all. Therefore, I have expelled him from the academy."

"Exit? Do you have to do this thoroughly?"

"It must be thorough," replied Paracelsus, "Leave Ravi and expel Jung, the most important decision I have ever made in my life."

"Since you have decided, then that's it. I haven't had much energy to focus on alchemy recently. The matters of the Alchemy Academy are all left to you. Having said that..."

Ella straightened her chair and leaned her body slightly forward. Although she and Paracelsus were the only ones in the room, she lowered her voice, as if she was saying something ulterior secret:
