Chapter 25 Battle of the Great Plains of the North Continent (3)

The fleet entered from under the damaged fortress. As the field of vision extended, the construction site of Aztland gradually showed the full picture in front of Hestein and others.

"What a big stronghold!" a pirate shouted, "I'm afraid there are nearly a thousand people!"

"Don't let any one go," Hestein said, "just catch one or two lively questions."

"There are still there!" another pirate shouted, "There are probably three or four thousand people in this scale!"

"I'm afraid it's an important material base." Hestein raised his hand, "Each ship prepares torches and burns them!"

"Wait a minute...there are still extending!" The pirates screamed in surprise, "Ten Thousands of people, the army here is more than ten thousand!"

Lily couldn't see the scene in front of her, but listening to the series of shouts, her expression gradually became serious: "The situation is not right, why are so many Aztlanders gathering here?"

"It means we are lucky." Hestein responded calmly, "There is a big fish here."

"There are still too many enemies. Should I retreat first?"

"Where are many enemies? In my eyes, there are only a group of carpenters doing carpenters. In terms of the number of soldiers, we have more than them."

The pirates lit a pot of fire with oil on the boat and placed the torches inside to light them. In the blink of an eye, their ships quickly approached the construction site along the coast. Hestein waved his hand, and the burning torches flew towards the wood on the shore.

A whistling axe flew out with the torch. This sudden attack scared the Aztland soldiers who were still chopping down trees. After the heads of several companions were cut off by flying axes, the remaining soldiers began to throw away their tools and flee to the camp.

The river bank was in chaos. Nearby soldiers were escaping from flames and flying axes. The soldiers in the distance did not know the truth and came to support the fire. The pirates' ships flew along the river along the river bank, throwing torches toward the construction site. In the blink of an eye, a winding fire wall appeared on the river bank.

In Hestein's eyes, the formation of these Aztlanders gradually changed from messy sand to mess mixed with mess. He gathered magic power at the tip of his spear and smashed the magic of destruction towards the densest place of the crowd with a loud shout. The earth shattered and stones splashed. Anyone touched by magic power, all the bones in the body were broken by squeezing, turning into a pool of meat pie in a huge pit.

Without a suitable port for mooring, the fleet of pirates found only one beach and unscrupulously paddled the boat to the shore. The remaining force of the wind and oars allowed the hull to slide slightly on the beach, and the thick and long horns turned the ships into small siege hammers, who broke through the fences and pressed the most courageous Aztlands who were trying to stop them from landing into the sand without mercy.

The pirates shouted and rushed off the ship. Before they could confront each other, they threw a wave of flying axes at the Aztlans who were blocking the front. The Aztlan soldiers were also equipped with throwing weapons such as scattering ropes, and some wooden shields could block them, and some cotton armor could resist the impact. However, these soldiers had just entered the battle from the construction site. The wooden shields and scattering ropes were replaced with tools for logging, and their armor was taken off because of their heavy and hotness. The Aztlan soldiers who blocked the pirates were almost equivalent to farmers wearing civilian clothes.

In such an unprepared posture, the flying axe caused terrible damage. Hundreds of people fell down in this wave of flying axe, either hit the shoulder, hit the chest, cut off the head, or cut open the throat. Some people lost the ability to resist, while others fell into permanent nothingness on the spot.

Without a moment of stay, trampling on these enemies who could not rise up, the pirates pursued deeper.

If you look over the sky at this moment, you will see a very strange scene: tens of thousands of Aztland soldiers abandoned their armor and were defeated; five hundred pirates were full of fighting spirit and pursued them relentlessly. These pirates rushed into the dispersed Aztland army, just like wolves rushing into the flock of sheep. They were willing to hunt the lamb, not to fill their stomachs, but to kill them.

Hestein strode behind the crowd, only occasionally cutting down one or two fish that fell to the ground and got up. He had escaped from the killing in front of him, and the beastly attention was betting on the entire battlefield, closely watching the changes on the battlefield. Any sign of an enemy showing an organized counterattack would be immediately shattered by him with magic. This is the key to attacking the crowd with few people. He must ensure that these Aztlanders are always in a state of low morale, and at the same time, they use victory to maintain the high morale of the pirates.

He oppressed the battlefield with the protection of the elf-level war god, like the tiger in the mountains, bringing fear and pressure to all the Aztlans.

Lily followed Hestein with her head down, and the sword was always in a state of being about to come out but not coming out.

"There are still too many enemies. Our army's breathing is becoming rapid." She said, "Can we fight quickly?"

"Just catch that big fish," said Hestein. "In such a large rear, there are actually so many troops. The ones stationed here must be important figures in Aztland, and they may even be their king."

"If that's the case, that's there-"

Lily suddenly lowered her body and ran wildly in one direction. After slashing and counting down several people one after another, Hestein saw a group of people coming from the direction Lily chose to face this side. Their physiques were taller and taller than other soldiers at first glance, and their eagle-shaped helmets and colorful feathers made them naturally exude a daunting courage.

They scolded the retreating soldiers, intending to stop them and turn to resist the enemy's attack. But in this unstoppable retreat, their scolding did not have any effect. Instead, their formation was scattered by the defeated army and could not be gathered.

Lily followed the footsteps of the defeated army and plunged into the group of eagle warriors. She could not see anything, but the difference in weight and direction of footsteps was enough to allow her to distinguish eagle warriors from ordinary Aztland soldiers. She raised her hand, tied the sword and flew out towards one of the eagle warriors, reaching the vital point. With another "default", the sword and Maquowit in the hand of the eagle warriors collided with each other.

Lily thought of killing the Eagle Warrior with one blow, but this block was beyond her expectations. She immediately shook the iron chain and smashed all the stone pieces on Makuwit with a hidden force. Then she stopped and grabbed the sword back into her hand, holding the sword herself and slashed at the Eagle Warrior.

At this moment, the eagle warrior finally couldn't resist it and was pierced through Lily's throat. But this action attracted a lot of attention to Lily.

"Enemy general!" The masked leader of the Eagle Warrior separated Aztlan's defeated army and held Maquowit and shouted at Lily, "Come here to duel with me!"
