Chapter 12 Is it Paracelsus? (2)

"Sister, that despicable villain!"

Anna finally escaped from the house arrest in the island Republic, but ended up falling into Ella's house arrest, so she naturally didn't feel very good. She walked around the house anxiously, cursing Ella loudly every time she walked around.

"Despicable, shameless, snobbish, and worse than beasts!"

In contrast to Anna's reaction, Dust sat steadily on a big chair, focusing on eliminating the dishes on the dining table. Such Dust made Anna angry; "Dust! Have you eaten the food your sister sent? Are you not afraid of the poison in the food?"

"No, I'm eating food."

Dust answered absent-mindedly, and sprinkled pepper on a steak as big as an axe.

"Dust!"

Anna shouted angrily, rushed up and snatched the fork in Dust's hand, and bent it. Dust raised his head from the dining table in a daze. He couldn't figure out why Anna didn't let him eat the steak on the table.

"Dust! Are you not afraid of poison in the dish?"

"Impossible? Isn't you going to exchange for ransom? If you want to poison, you won't be cured soon. And when she was about to use the medicine that she didn't know if there was any poison, you said..."

"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

"Run out? Isn't it necessary? Your sister just wants to exchange you for ransom. The Qiqiu Empire and the Island Republic are going to war outside, and the bounty I earned in Azov has been spent on you again. If you don't go home, your sister's place is the safest place."

Seeing that Anna didn't mean to snatch the fork back, Dust naturally used his hand to tear the big steak in front of him.

"But sister, she wants to exchange me for ransom? If that happens, wouldn't I just be sent back to the Qiqiu Empire?"

"What's wrong with it? The Seven Hill Empire and the Island Republic have now fought. You don't have to marry Patisipacio's son."

"But I don't want to be sold for 200,000 Nomisma! That's my family's money, so I'll feel heartbroken, okay?"

Anna shouted loudly at Dust. But Dust was focused on gnawing on the steak in his hand. Seeing that Dust didn't seem to be asking for help, Anna hurriedly circled around the room again.

"This won't work! You have to find a way to escape, or convince your sister to let me go..."

"If there is a saying worth 200,000 Nomisma, I really want to hear it... Huh? Why is this steak burnt? Well, it's a pirate after all, and its craftsmanship is incomparable to the chefs of the Island Republic..."

"Have it! I can make a deal with my sister!"

Anna slapped her hands, then ran to the door and knocked on the door wildly.

"Open the door! Open the door! I have something to say to my sister! Let her come and see me!"

The pirates guarding outside the door did not make things difficult for Anna, agreed and sent someone to find Ella. However, Dust was surprised to wipe the pepper on his mouth and asked, "What are you going to use for the transaction?"

"The news about that doctor Paracelsus! Just use it to exchange for my sister to let me out!"

Dust couldn't help but hold his forehead:

"Do your royal family have no idea about the amount of money? Can the 200,000 Nomisma be exchanged for news from a doctor?"

...

...

"Where is Paracelsus? I'll let you go, tell me!"

Ella agreed to Anna's deal as soon as possible.

Dust couldn't help but pat his forehead - why didn't he expect that Anna's sister must be a royal family.

But Ella did not agree because she had no idea about money as Dust thought. She might be similar to Anna when she was in the Seven Hills Empire, but she had been extremely sensitive to money for so long in poor Sweden.

The reason she agreed was because it was Paracelsus. Not to mention Paracelsus herself, even if it was just the way to make dye, she was willing to exchange it for 200,000 Nomisma - the new drug could save many lives, and it was not something that a noble ransom could compare.

"Although I don't know where Paracelsus is," Anna said, "but I've found many rumors that might be related to him."

Ella asked impatiently: "What rumors?"

"The teachers and students of the Alchemy University were released early, and the Island Republic was relying on them to prepare something urgently. No one knew what they were making, only seeing a lot of urine, wine, and seaweed ash being sent to the Alchemy University every day... But according to an alchemist who was drunk and said he was leaking his mouth, they had mastered the mystery of the fire element and were using it to prepare some weapon against the fleet of the Seven Hills."

"Fire Element?" Amy raised her ears, "I seem to have heard that Paracelsus was considered to have mastered the Fire Element by alchemists and was highly sought after... But it is a bit unreasonable to think that Paracelsus is behind it based on this point."

"There is another thing that is known to everyone in the Island Republic." Anna added, "Just a few days ago, the Island Republic tested a flying instrument. In the public eye, the instrument carried a chicken, a dog, and a sheep into the sky. After floating in the sky for about twenty minutes, it landed on the ground. Only the chicken died, and the dog and the sheep were safe."

"Flying instrument?" Amy was excited again, "Why did the chicken die? Was the wax on the wings melted by the sun?"

"Not a wing." Anna gestured with her hands to explain to Amy, "The flying instrument is a big ball with a manned frame hanging under it. The ball is hollow. I heard people say that it can fly because it contains not ordinary air, but the lighter and purer air element itself. It is also one of the four elements. So I guess that the instrument is also done by the alchemist."

"That alone doesn't mean it's Paracelsus." Amy sighed, "But I really want to go and see the instrument."

However, the words "qi element" attracted Ella's attention.

"I have read Paracelsus' notes. She mentioned that a gas that is lighter than air is produced by the combination of iron and sand and separation. At the end, she mentioned that maybe it can be used to fly into the sky. Could it be said that the island Republic has declared that it did not find Paracelsus, but that it was actually hidden Paracelsus itself?"

"In other words, Paracelsus is indeed still in the Island Republic?" Amy looked at Ella, "Your Majesty, what should we do?"

"The Island Republic will be defeated at any time, and it is dangerous for Paracelsus to stay there - no, no."

Ella shook her head and denied her first half of the sentence.
