Chapter 22 The Price of Power (7)

This is a very important message. After Ella asked about the details from Amy, she immediately handed over the military affairs to Amy, and she took Awutmok and the others, and hurriedly rushed towards the direction where Dust was.

Dust met Ella in a secluded village.

"Where is the Count of Ile de France?" Ella asked hurriedly before she got off the horse.

Dust signaled Ella not to worry and dismounted and followed him first.

"You follow behind, don't make noises or reveal your identity," he said. "No matter what I say later, just beside you, just respond."

Ella nodded.

They came to a farmhouse that looked very inconspicuous. Dust knocked three times above and below the door with his hand, and a strong man opened the door, stared at him, and asked, "Dust, what do you want to do when you come here so late?"

"Isn't this a business?" Dust said with a smile, "I'll be an agent to make some travel money."

After hearing Dust's words, the strong man looked at Ella and Autmok behind him. When he saw the strong Autmok, he nodded with satisfaction, but when he saw Ella, he frowned and asked, "This little girl is also a mercenary?"

"Mercenary?"

Ella muttered a little puzzled, not understanding what the Dust gourd is selling.

"No, this is not a mercenary," Dust smiled. "But you know, the size of the organization needs some people to do some careful work."

"Oh?" The strong man became a little interested, "So, is this a mercenary group?"

"Yes." Dass Feature Head.

So the strong man turned his head and asked Awutmok: "How many people are there in your mercenary group?"

Awutmok was stunned for a moment, not knowing how to answer. Fortunately, Ella reacted quickly and casually wrote it on the side: "Let's come one thousand people."

"Oh? Such a large mercenary group? What's the name?"

"Not to fly... army!"

Ella forced the word "pig" in the middle to swallow.

"Wu Dang Flying Army?" The strong man looked at Dust in confusion, "It is logical that I have never heard of such a large mercenary group?"

"They have only been here recently. Look, isn't this regiment leader just a foreigner?" Dust pointed at Awutmok and replied with a smile, "If it were a local mercenary group, you wouldn't need me to intermediary, right?"

"A good boy, he is not doing his job outside all day long, and his knowledge is getting wider and wider. Well, the mercenary group in the countryside has a relatively small connection with Almani's affairs, and maybe it's up to the customer's request."

The strong man patted Dust and gave Awutmok a look:

"Let's go, ride on your horse and come with me to meet the customer this time."

So the group rode on their horses again, rushed for a short time in the wilderness, and finally came to a thatched hut standing alone in the wilderness.

The strong man went down the door and knocked three times on the top and bottom of the door like Dust. Then, an extremely dissatisfied voice came from the thatched hut?:

"Why are you here now?"

"Boss, it's not my fault. The mercenaries nearby have been taken away by a man named Osor to do other work. It took me a lot of effort to help you contact a new mercenary group. Their people have already arrived here."

"Cruff--" and the door opened. The short Count of Ile-de-France appeared behind the door. He was wearing a set of worn-out clothes that had been stitched many times, and his eyes were dull.

"Your mission is to help me take back Paris. I can't afford it now, so the price will be paid after it is finished. Is this OK?"

As soon as he finished speaking, his eyes swept to Dust. At that moment, an expression of extreme disgust appeared on his face. Then, he saw Ella.

"It's you?"

The Count of Ile de France's eyes became sharp in an instant.

The strong man who brought them here looked at the people on both sides in confusion: "Why, do you know each other?"

"Earl of Ile-de-France...No, Lord Caroling," Ella stepped forward, "I heard that you have been imprisoned in Paris. I was about to save you, but I didn't expect you to be here. So, is the rumors about your imprisonment false?"

"It's true." The Count of Ile-de-France lowered his head and laughed a few times, "but the person who was imprisoned was my sister, who was disguised as me and suffered for me."

As soon as he finished speaking, he suddenly punched Dust!

"Scared...! Fortunately, I was prepared!" Dust jumped flexibly behind Ella and hid, then muttered in Ella's ear, "I saw it, so I don't want to save him!"

"It's all your fault!" The Earl of France pointed at Dust, and his eyes were so angry that he almost popped out of his eyes. "If you hadn't taught Mary these strange skills, she wouldn't be the one in prison now!"

"Calorin, calm down." Ella said in a deep voice, "If you want to fight back to Paris, I will fight back to Paris too. Isn't that just right? Go back with me, I still have some people in my hands. Let's join forces and think of a solution together."

"Join together?"

The Count of Ile de France looked at Ella sideways, then shook his head vigorously.

"No, I won't join forces with you. Joining with you means being an enemy of the Tianfang Empire!"

"Isn't the Tianfang Empire your enemy now?" Ella said, "They have already agreed to the Duke of Aquitaine's occupation of Paris!"

"They just stand on the side of whoever wins. Now the Duke of Aquitaine wins, so they help the Duke of Aquitaine, but as long as I take back Paris, stabilize the situation, and turn defeat into victory, they will turn their heads and stand on my side again!"

The Count of Ile de France opened his red eyes and pointed his hand hard at Ella's nose:

"Sepia, you can't deceive me. Now it's just a fight between me and the Duke of Aquitaine, but once you form an alliance, it will become a fight with the Tianfang Empire, and that will be the real end of the world!"

Then, he turned his head angrily and looked at the strong man, shouting:

"Let me find a reliable mercenary group again!"

The strong man shook his head calmly:

"Calorin, I can't do anything about you like this. I said that the mercenaries nearby were hired not long ago."

"There is no need for so many people. Just find five hundred people for me - no! One hundred people - no! fifty people! fifty people!" The Count of Ile-de-France grabbed the strong man's shoulder with force, "Just give me fifty people, I can save Mary!"

"Calorin, are you crazy?" Ella frowned, "Are you going to use fifty men to attack the fortress with a large army?"

"Sepia, have you ever seen Zeus's guardian?"

The Count of Ile de France tilted his head and looked at Ella with his blood-covered eyes.
