The first thousand four hundred and sixty-eight chapters, the method of salvation that Buddhism seeks
Seeing the Buddha Tathagata speak like this, Taibai Jinxing naturally could not be stubborn and not let go.
He could say that he had made up his mind. If the conditions of Tathagata were reasonable, then that would be fine. For the crisis facing the court today, it would be acceptable to suffer a little loss. However, if he spoke loudly, even if he went back to live and die with the Jade Emperor and repaid his loyalty and righteousness, he would never be able to set a precedent here.
He also understood the so-called truth that it was not my race. No matter what, he could not bear the name of a sinner for thousands of years and let Buddhism completely enter the heaven. Not to mention that he disagrees, even if he thinks, the Jade Emperor will not have such a age. After all, Shi Bi is like a knife, and even a god is afraid that someone will be stabbed behind him.
The Buddha of Tathagata seemed to have seen the idea of Taibai Venus, or he knew the degree of the situation. So he did not put forward any particularly excessive conditions, but instead stated a request that Taibai Venus seemed to be unrelated.
"What I ask is very simple. If my Buddhist can live in the Jade Emperor and the Great Heavenly Lord to capture this ancient god, then I would like to ask the Jade Emperor and the Great Heavenly Lord to be kind, so that my Buddhist can save this person and add another Buddha to the Western Paradise."
Saving is a very powerful method of Buddhism. On the surface, it is to use the profound and profound Buddhist teachings to influence the world, allowing people to understand the way of transcendence from Buddhism, so as to let go of everything and go to the other side to bliss. But in fact, there is a meaning of bewitching.
Wisdom is something that makes people see openly, not something that makes people let go. Obsession is the fundamental source of human nature. The seven emotions and six desires are originally human nature. If you let go of everything, cut off everything, and be a monk with all four elements, then what is the difference between being an empty puppet?
It’s a very simple truth, but some people can’t understand it. For the so-called Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss, I don’t know how many people are willing to let go of everything around them and cut off all the desires in their hearts. They dare not love, hate, think foolishly, and hate. What’s the point of such a person even if he lives in the Pure Land and can enjoy hundreds of millions of lives?
There is love and hate, there is ignorance and resentment. This is what a truly living person should look like. It is like the kind of four elements that are empty and can be let go of anything. It is just a walking corpse. From this point of view, saving has actually entered the evil path. But it is undeniable that even if it is an evil path, its power cannot be underestimated.
So far, the highest record of Buddhist enlightenment is Indra.
Indra is the main god of Hinduism, Indra, the God of Rain, Thunder and the God of War. At the same time, he is also Indra, and the Emperor of Heaven. Even in the complex Indian divine system, he is an important existence and has a high status. It can be said that he is only under the three major gods.
Of course, there is more than one Indra. The Buddhists have only one of the previous Indras. However, even if it is just one, it is the Emperor of Heaven, who is nakedly whipping the Brahmin god-type face. It can be said that before this, Buddhism could still live in harmony with the Brahmins, so after that, they can only be a life-and-death situation between them.
The retreat of Buddhism in India may also have a certain inevitable connection. This is enough to prove that the power of Buddhism’s method of saving Indra. It may not be impossible to save the Eight Lords’ incarnation today. Once this matter takes shape, the strength of Buddhism will definitely be doubled.
As the master of the Western Paradise, the Buddha of Buddhism is now very clear in his heart that the development of the power of Buddhism has reached a bottleneck. Guanyin and Ksitigarbha have a great wish that they will not become Buddhas without realizing it. As long as they cannot become Buddhas in one day, then they will definitely not be able to open up a Pure Land like themselves.
The Pure Land is the foundation of Buddhism. When the Buddhist sect was powerful, the three major worlds stood shoulder to shoulder, and even faced with many attacks from the divine system, they could still gain a foothold, or even say they would not fall behind. As a later generation, the reason why Sakyamuni was able to make Buddhism grow and grow is this. The way of Buddhism should indeed not be underestimated.
It’s just a pity that they were a little proud at the beginning, giving the Brahmins and other gods the opportunity to carry out their plans to break the entire Buddhist temple. When the Eastern Glazed World collapsed, the Central Posa World disappeared with the passing of Sakyamuni. Only he left him and he took his own Pure Land to save the remnants of the Buddhist temple and went away.
Over the years, Tathagata has been planning to restore Buddhism to its full state. Because only in this way can Buddhism truly stand with Taoism and Heavenly Court, rather than being pulled by the second brother to confront the eldest brother like a little brother. It’s just a pity that this idea is very good, but it may not be so easy to practice.
Buddhism emphasizes enlightenment. Any practitioner of Bodhisattva practice can make great vows to realize one's own path, and eventually achieve the Buddha's fruit in practice. When Buddhism flourished, there were thirty-five Buddhas, but from this number, we can see that the process of enlightenment is actually not difficult. As long as you find a way to take advantage of it, you can eventually become a Buddha.
However, there is also a difference between Buddha and Buddha. A monkey who becomes a monk at the halfway point does not count. For example, it is normal for the Sandalwood merit Buddha that Jin Chanzi reincarnated. The great wish he made is to spread the Dharma, and the process of his own great wish is the so-called ninety-nine eighty-one difficulties.
It sounds like a lot, but it is not that difficult to calculate carefully. With four disciples, there are also a bunch of gods and Bodhisattvas on it. After all, it is just a thrilling but safe and secure journey. The whole process cannot be said to be easy and casual, but it cannot be considered a thousand difficulties. Compared with Ksitigarbha's ambition to not be empty in hell, and to the path of Guanyin to achieve enlightenment by saving sentient beings, it is definitely a difference.
And this is why, even though he has become a Buddha, Jin Chanzi doesn’t even have the chance to show his face here. His Buddha is too watery and he can’t even come up with the big ones. This is just like the Americans holding a security meeting of the Department of Defense and it is impossible to put some cultural and religious association presidents in it. You don’t have the qualifications at all.
What the Tathagata wants is not this kind of Buddha, but what he wants is a holy Buddha who can open up a world, become a Buddha and become a ancestor. And in today's Western Heaven, there are only Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva and Guanyin Bodhisattva who are qualified.
However, although these two people have the qualifications, they cannot count on it in a short period of time. If they want to open a gap in this regard, they must find other goals. The appearance of Zhou Yi obviously made him see hope.
He is very clear about the Eight Lords being the master of the world in this world. And it is precisely because of this that he has such thoughts. For him, as long as he can bring Zhou Yi into Buddhism, he will plan and make plans. It is entirely possible for Zhou Yi to refine this world and make it his own Buddha land.
As long as this world becomes a Buddha's country, the prosperity of Buddhism will become a foregone conclusion. At that time, whether it is the Heavenly Court or the Taoist Sect, under such a general trend, there will be no other choice except to obey and submit and follow the trend.
This is the plan in Tathagata's mind and his biggest plan. Taibai Jinxing must not know about his plan. However, although he did not know Tathagata's plan, he was very clear that this guy who looked at the world on the surface must have had some plans.
The eight masters who transformed into the Buddhas in the Pure Land can be big or small. In short, there is just a terrible Buddha in the West. With the cooperative relationship between Heaven and Buddhism, the only headache is the Taoist sect, not them. But in the broader, the situation is different.
Taibai Jinxing will never forget the identity of the outsider of Buddhism. Perhaps now, Buddhism and the Heavenly Court have a cooperative relationship, and the two sides are harmonious like oil in honey. However, this is based on the premise that the Taoist sect is powerful. Once the eight masters incarnate into Buddhism, the situation where the three parties of Buddhism and Taoist sect are at the same time are reversed. Taibai Jinxing does not think that Buddhism at that time is still willing to continue to maintain this cooperative relationship with the Heavenly Court.
Moreover, compared with Taoist sects, Buddhism is even less recognized by the Heavenly Court. No matter how powerful the Taoist sect bullies others, it is their own people after all. Even if Taoist sects establish heavenly courts, they will be the Xiaoyao Sanxian again. But if Buddhism controls the Heavenly Court, it will be different. No matter what, Taibai Jinxing doesn't want to be at this age and be a monk for a day.
Of course, these things cannot be said explicitly. So Taibai Jinxing hesitated for a while and then bowed and said.
"I understand what the Tathagata means. However, the matter of the Eight Lords is of great importance. Even if the Jade Emperor Great Heavenly Lord wants to let him go, the Taoist masters and the ancient gods may not nod and agree. Therefore, I advise the Venerable not to have too many fantasies."
"It's okay, as long as Taibai Jinxing can make the Jade Emperor Big Heavenly Lord accept my affairs. If someone makes a mistake, I will naturally have me to solve this matter. I only have a promise and believe this, and the Jade Emperor Big Heavenly Lord should not be stingy."
"This..." After estimating the interests in his heart, Taibai Jinxing bowed and said. "I think the Great Heavenly Lord will not be stingy with a promise. If the Buddha asked for this, Taibai Jinxing is willing to protect and strive to promote this matter. If anything goes wrong, the heavens and man will kill each other."
"Okay, then it's a matter of determination."
Haha, the Buddha looked at the monkey with an impatient look beneath him, and then ordered him.
"Wukong, you have the magical power of somersault clouds. You can follow Taibai Jinxing first to calm the Jade Emperor's heart. When I order all my troops, I will naturally follow closely to clear this karma for the Jade Emperor's Great Heavenly Lord."
"Okay, okay, I, Old Sun, have long been impatient!"
With a crazy laugh, the monkey jumped off the lotus platform, pulled Taibai Jinxing's sleeve, and jumped out of the Spirit Mountain Holy Realm. Looking at the backs of these two people, the Buddha Tathagata and Buddha smiled together and had already recited the sutra.
