Chapter 17 The plot of getting back on track
"Where am I?" Silver looked at the scenery around him in confusion - cars, buildings, urban management, chasing hawkers, street lights and telephone poles on the side of the road were covered with advertisements of old military doctors who applied for certificates and treated male diseases.
"Have I been back in time again?" Silver murmured to himself as he looked at his hands.
Suddenly, a red Chevrolet sedan was coming towards him at 70 yards. Silver couldn't dodge and was knocked to the ground. Silver thought to himself, "What's the bad luck?" A pale young man got out of the car. The young man looked like he was overly drunk. Silver didn't plan to argue with the young man first. He looked directly at the license plate behind the car and planned to write it down first. When the young man saw Silver's actions, he was immediately panicked and immediately ran back to the car to get something.
"Haha, Xiaopang, I was so scared that I went back to get the money and prepared to bribe me, but I'm--"
The young man came back, but he was not holding money, but a bright, 30-centimeter-long sharp knife. The young man held the sharp knife and stabbed Silver in this way.
"Yafendie, I don't want to be the unjust soul of Yao Badao's men!"
"Jack, you're safe now, it's okay." A gentle female voice comforted Silver softly in Silver's ear. The voice was inexplicably infectious, and Silver opened her eyes with great difficulty. He realized that he was in the hospital. He lay on a hospital bed covered with white linen sheets, next to him on the table, two girls who looked exactly the same lying on the ground were sleeping soundly. Hermione looked at him anxiously at the head of his bed.
"Jack, are you okay?" The girl's voice was filled with worry.
"I'm not a big deal. Hermione is just the weakness after the magic is overdrawn. You will naturally get better after resting for a while, so don't worry."
"You have made the three ladies frightened for a day and a night, Mr. Silver." Mrs. Pomfrey brought a plate of potions, "I want me to tell you, after drinking these potions, you should leave the school hospital. I can't stand the three little girls constantly begging me to stay here with you." Mrs. Pomfrey smiled and made Hermione blush.
And at this time, in the Gryffindor lounge—
"What can make people immortal and turn any metal into gold, Harry, what do you ask about this?"
"Percy, don't worry about that, tell me what exactly is that?"
"Of course it's the Philosopher's Stone. Professor Dumbledore's friend, Mr. Nicole Lemay, is the only person known to possess the Philosopher's Stone. He has lived in his 600s - Harry! Where are you going?"
Harry ran quickly to Hagrid's hut-
"Hagir, where did you get your dragon egg?"
"I won the game of cards with a guy in the Pig Head Bar. Why did you suddenly remember to ask this? You know that Norber has been sent away."
"Oh, Hagrid, tell me first, what does that person look like?"
"I haven't seen his face clearly, he's wearing a hood."
"What did you say to him at that time, Hagrid? Did you mention Hogwarts?"
"Maybe it mentioned." Haeger frowned and recalled hard, "By the way. He asked me what I did, and I told him I was the guardian of the hunting ground here. He asked a little more about which animals I was looking after. I told him... Then I said I always wanted a dragon... Later... I couldn't remember it very well, so he kept buying wine for me to drink... Let me think about it again... By the way, he later said that he had a dragon egg in his hand. If I wanted, we could play cards and bet... But he had to figure out if I had the ability to deal with this dragon. He didn't want the dragon to run out to cause trouble at that time... So I told him that I was obedient to Lu Wei, and a dragon was nothing at all..."
Did he seem—seemingly interested in Louwei?” asked Heli, trying his best to calm his tone.
"Yes - quite interested - can you meet a few dogs with three heads, even near Hogwarts? So I told him that Lu Wei is actually very easy to deal with. As long as you know how to calm it down and put some music for it, it will fall asleep immediately-"
Hagrid's face suddenly showed a look of horror.
"I shouldn't tell you this!" he blurted out, "Forget what I said! Hey - where are you going?"
Harry ran straight back to the common room in Gryffindor - "Ron, I get it."
"What did you know, Harry, you're so stupid."
"I said I know the strange things that have happened this semester! The three-headed dog guards the Philosopher's Stone, a treasure that can make people immortal and turn all metals into gold. Voldemort needs a magician to reshape his body and resurrect him. His servant has sneaked into Hogwarts. The last time Quidditch competes to cast a curse on my light wheel 2,000 was Voldemort's servant! The hooded figure I saw in the Forbidden Forest last time should be Voldemort! He relies on the blood of a unicorn to maintain his dying life! He learned through Hagrid that the three-headed dog Lu Wei was going to steal the Philosopher's Stone! We must tell Professor Dumbledore @!" Harry seemed particularly excited.
"Oh, okay, Harry, but you have to be calm, you must be calm." Ron seemed a little overwhelmed.
"Do you know where Dumbledore's office is?" Harry looked around, as if counting on seeing a sign to point them in the direction. No one had ever told them where Dumbledore lived, nor did they know who had been taken to see the principal.
We had to—” Before Harry could finish his words, a sound suddenly sounded from the other end of the hall.
"What are you two doing?"
It was Professor McGonagall, holding a large stack of books in his arms.
"We want to meet Professor Dumbledore."
"Want to meet Professor Dumbledore?" Professor McGonagall repeated, as if they had such a thought was very suspicious. "Why?"
Harry swallowed—how do you say it? "It's a secret." As soon as he said that, he immediately wished he hadn't said that, because Professor McGonagall was angry and her nose flapped.
"Professor Dumbledore left ten minutes ago," she said coldly, "he received an emergency letter from the Ministry of Magic and flew to London immediately."
"He's gone?" Harry said anxiously, "At this time?"
"Professor Dumbledore is a very amazing wizard, with a lot of money and time--"
"But this matter is very important."
"Is what you are going to say more important than the Ministry of Magic, Harry?"
"That's it," said Harry, throwing his caution out of the sky, "the professor—about the Philosopher's Stone—"
Professor McGonagall never thought it would be this. The book in her arms fell to the floor in a scattered manner, and she didn't pick it up.
"How do you know--" she stammered.
"Professor, I think—I know—someone is trying to steal the Philosopher's Stone. I have to talk to Professor Dumbledore."
Professor McGonagall looked at him with intertwined gaze of astonishment and suspicion.
"Professor Dumbledore is back tomorrow," she said at the end, "I don't know how you found out about the Philosopher's Stone, but don't worry, no one can steal it, it is protected and foolproof."
"But the professor—"
"Potter, I know what I'm talking about," she said impatiently, then bent down and picked up the book that fell to the ground. "I suggest you go out and bask in the sun."
But they didn't do that.
"Ron, Voldemort's minions are about to move, and everything is ready. Now he has deceived Dumbledore from the school. The letter must have been sent by him. I dare say that the Ministry of Magic will be shocked when he sees Dumbledore appearing suddenly."
"But what can we do?"
