Chapter 5 Weird Dreams
Han Feng and Ryan both slept very peacefully this night, as safe as they had never been before.
The cold wind had a long dream.
In the primeval forest with ice and snow, Ryan stood on the tree with a bow on his back, looking around. The tree fell and sat down. The young man with a pale face, covered his chest and gasped, and was trembling all over.
The boy was facing a girl with long hair. The girl kept using various recovery magic on the boy, but the boy's face was still pale. There seemed to be a few other people around him, but they couldn't see clearly.
There is a cliff on the edge of the forest. There is a cave on the cliff. The cold wind slowly walked towards the depths of the cave. Suddenly, a huge blue monster appeared in front of me.
The monster turned its back to him, and Hanfeng felt a very friendly feeling coming from the monster. Suddenly, the blue monster seemed to have noticed Hanfeng and turned around, but could not see his face clearly. In the hazy, he smiled at Hanfeng. The smile of Hanfeng felt comfortable from the inside out. However, the good times did not last long. Not long after, the blue monster fell down and never rose again. Hanfeng felt the grief coming from the depths of his soul.
As the camera turned, countless chains were filled with magic circles everywhere. A huge monster was hung on the chain, blood was constantly dripping, and hundreds of huge eggs were placed in a blood altar.
A vague but kind face seemed to be saying something to himself, and it was vaguely "Cold Feng...Ges...Don't come back...Frost..." and other things were unreal.
My body seemed to have changed. Something began to grow from my neck. My limbs began to swell. My hands slowly turned into claws covered with blue scales. A pair of blue wings burst out behind me. My whole body was hot, my breathing became rapid, and my head seemed to be torn and painful.
The cold wind woke up from the dream, looked around in confusion, then raised his claws covered with scales and slept with peace of mind, "It turned out to be a dream, hh."
Then he suddenly became shocked. How could it be that it was his paws, and he opened his glasses in shock, and still had a pair of hands. Han Feng turned his hand in confusion, "Are you also dreaming just now?"
The tiredness came back again, Han Feng didn't think much about it, closed his eyes and continued to fall asleep, but he didn't notice it. The thin blue scales slowly disappeared from Han Feng's neck.
Although the winter in the middle of winter is also very cold, it is far from being compared with the cold winter town. The winter here is as warm as the spring in the cold winter town. Of course, this is just the idea of Ryan and the cold wind. When everyone else was still sleeping in the bed early in the morning, the two of them got up from the bed. Both of them were afraid of being hungry since childhood, so the first thing they did after getting up was to go to the cafeteria. Uncle Ram in the cafeteria was very similar to Moxi in the Dongnuan Inn in the cold winter town. They were both short and fat, but they were much more kind.
"Does the ones who do this have such a figure?" the two thought evilly.
"Good morning Uncle Ram!" The two of them greeted the uncle enthusiastically.
When Uncle Ram saw the two of them appear in the cafeteria, he began to say hello to them, "You two new kids again, good morning, what are you going to eat?" Ryan was about to say that he wanted barbecue, but Uncle Ram seemed to remember something and add, "We don't have barbecue in the morning." Ryan immediately got stuck and scratched the back of his head embarrassedly. Uncle Ram was deeply impressed by the way they ate barbecue last night.
Seeing the two of them, Uncle Ram turned around and brought two bowls of white porridge, two plates of side dishes and seven or eight meat buns, and then handed them to them, "Go and sit there and eat. If there is no enough, come and get it with the uncle."
"Thank you uncle!" The two of them happily took the things and started eating on the table.
For two people, adequate food is the best thing to do.
After breakfast, the two of them leisurely wandered around the mercenary group, familiarizing themselves with the new environment, greeted everyone with enthusiasm, and made a familiar face. Most of the people in the mercenary group knew that the two were children brought back by the deputy leader, so they greeted them.
While passing by the martial arts venue, the two saw Hughes' familiar figure. A tall and thin man in leather armor stood beside Hughes. Hughes's angry voice came from afar.
"Bride! Don't bully people like this! Why do you suddenly become level seven? I hate it!" Hughes's two beards trembled in anger.
"This comes from firm character and immortal efforts." Brad joked as he played with the pruning on his hand, and then added: "Congratulations on officially becoming the 12th archer in the group."
"Go to your efforts, you guy who is trampling on shit! I don't accept it! Why do we all get hurt and you break through after you heal? I'm still level 6, it's unfair! Woo woo woo woo woo woo woo woo woo woo woo woo woo woo woo woo woo woo woo woo woo woo woo woo woo woo woo woo woo woo woo woo woo woo woo woo woo woo woo woo woo woo woo woo woo woo woo woo woo woo woo woo woo woo woo woo woo woo woo woo woo woo woo woo woo woo woo woo woo woo woo woo woo woo woo woo woo woo woo woo woo woo woo woo woo woo woo woo woo woo woo woo woo woo woo woo woo woo woo w
Hughes and Brad are both archers in the group. Originally, they were both level 6. Since the leader of the group's large-scale event only brought the top ten elites from each profession to participate, they were both powerful players competing for the eleventh chief substitute. However, Hughes is a magic archer from the wind system, and Brad is a sniper archer with pure fighting spirit.
In the Ashes Bag Defense Battle in the previous few months, Brad, one of the strongest archers in the regiment, was attacking Red Wolf's spellcaster, when attacking Red Wolf's spellcaster, the dark swamp assassin hidden by Red Wolf suddenly jumped out of the soil and raided. Fortunately, Brad himself is a pure fighting profession and has good melee skills. He blocked the assassin's fatal blow, and then killed the opponent with the support of several other group members.
Although you saved your life, you were still severely injured and eroded your tendons and veins by the opponent's dark fighting spirit. I thought that your cultivation would not improve again from now on and might even regress. But who knew that after eliminating the dark fighting spirit remaining in the tendons, you would be lucky in disguise and break through level 6 to level 7 in one fell swoop.
Level 6 and Level 7 are a difficult hurdle, and many people cannot take this step. A level 6 warrior will still be defeated by two to four level 5 peak warriors. However, a warrior who has broken through level 6 and reached level 7 can deal with five to nine warriors of the same profession. It depends on personal experience and skills. If it is attribute restraint or professional restraint, then it will be more.
Hughes, who is still at level 6, naturally can't beat Brad.
Although Hughes was also injured in the Ashes Bag Defense Battle, the archer, as the Wind and Natural Systems, was naturally much stronger than the average person's dodging ability. There were no assassins to attack him in the Adder, so Hughes' skin trauma soon recovered.
"Ryan, what's wrong with Uncle Hughes? Is it because of epilepsy? Should we go and have a look?"
The cold wind looked at Hughes, who jumped his feet and roared into the sky, asked Ryan strangely.
"Well, Uncle Hughes is usually nice to us. Let's go and have a look. I remember someone in the town had an illness before, and he was shot unconscious, and then he would be fine after a few days of rest."
Ryan carefully recalled the scene in the cold winter town and strided towards Hughes and Brad.
"I'm not convinced! God is blind!..." Hughes kept shouting.
Brad glanced behind Hughes, looked carefully, his eyes stopped moving, his eyes began to glow, and he stared straight at Ryan.
After washing up, Han Feng and Ryan were extremely energetic. The two had completely different temperaments and were quite eye-catching. Ryan had long fingers and knee-length hands. After years of hard life, he still walked calmly.
The temperament of cold wind makes people unconsciously ignore him.
"Uncle Hughes, hello, uncle." Ryan and Hanfeng greeted the two.
Hughes turned around and saw that it was these two boys, and he felt so angry that he was so angry. "What a bad thing! I'm not good at all! I'm defeated by this bastard who stepped on shit. Now I'm sure I'm the 12th archer in the group. I don't even have the chief substitute! Wow! I'm not alive anymore!"
